I don't want this thread to be misleading, so I'm just going to put it out there, that this is an inquiry regarding Google Wallet that is supposed to come pre-installed on the xperia Z1. This is not a guide or tutorial for development (I hope I'm in the right section, mods please move or delete this thread if it's in the wrong place, or you feel it's inappropriate). According to the spec sheets for the phone, Google Wallet is listed under entertainment and I was wondering if anyone who already has the phone has seen this app and been able to use it. If so, is it the same as the regular play store app or is it different? most importantly, does tap and pay work? If not how much interest is there in the community to get NFC payments working via Google Wallet on the Z1? I figured with all the smart folks that this would be the place to get an answer. I'm one of those who is missing a couple paid apps from the market. Not a HUGE deal but I want them back at some point. Anyone here know the real deal?
Here's a link with a little more info
http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Android+Market/thread?tid=25b86f2ce5166c3c&hl=en
I looked for a thread around here but couldn't find one. If there is one please direct me there and apologies if this is has already been posted.
My apologies as I think I got my answer in that thread I linked to. Someone just contacted one of the developers and it appears the missing apps are copy protected apps and google appears to be blaming devs and devs are blaming google.
All I know is I want my paid apps. Surely they'll get this straightened out...
Nevermind...

I want to purchase Quitter from Barnes & Noble.
However, I would like to read it using Moon+ Pro (I have the paid version) mainly for the text-to-speech capabilities (listening while driving etc) but also I just like the app better anyway.
Alternatively, I could just purchase it directly from the source, the daveramsey.com website, which gives out a DRM free ePub (I think).
I would LIKE to purchase it from B&N in order to support them (so they make a Nook Color 2 etc in the future ). But if it's too much of a hassle to remove the DRM so I can read it via Moon+, then I'll just purchase from daveramsey.com.
Has anyone successfully removed removed the DRM from an epub purchased from Barnes & Noble? Is it a hassle or pretty easy? I found a few "guides" which seemed like nightmares... Hopefully that is out of date and there are newer/easier ways?

I haven't seen anyone or news site say it's been hacked but it's also something that would be considered warez or at least illegal so I don't know how much information you are going to get here let alone if you should be even posting this on XDA.
It's not much different that what we do here on XDA every day - bypass phone protections/security/lockdowns/etc... Hell, rooting a phone to enable tethering could be considered "theft of services".
Anyway, I don't know of anything directly, but googled "remove B&N drm" and got quite a few guides. Some were older though, so just gotta find something that's currently working.

Hmm, maybe you're right. I just thought since it's a purchased item, I should be able to do what I want with it. Bleh.
Google "drm tools archive", should be the first link. I use calibre. My wife and I each have a nook and don't have them tied to the same account, so there are books we buy that we both want to read at the same time.
I am finishing my new app and ask your advice. I have previously published my apps on Google Play and Amazon AppStore and the result has disappointed me.
The new application is much better than the old and now I think the search for a publisher.
Tell me please:
1. Where to look for publishers?
2. How to split profits?
3. What should I do first: place the app on the markets and then look for the publishers, or contrary?
4. What about those in the Apple AppStore? (By the way, why I did not find in the forum iOS development section?)
Google Wallet NFC Libs
Is there someone out there that has extracted the NFC Libs from the Sprint HTC One?
Sprint includes the necessary libs for the secure element the Wallet Requires, does anybody know which ones these are? I would like to have a flashable zip that we can push these lib files to the other variants of the HTC One. I have an OP with multiple methods on how to install Wallet for the Note 2 because I have the Lib files that make it work...That is the missing piece for the HTC One that I can't find anywhere. Anyone willing to pull these libs or has someone already done this? Thanks
Link below to my Google Wallet OP - this is what it would look like except tailored to each Carrier for the One
Google Wallet OP
this is not a request section
its for Android Development and Roms
Right where all the developers are who would understand the request, this is development for getting Google Wallet to work on all the variants, something you don't have to worry about because Sprint doesn't block it...Could use help rather than comments like this that don't help...Feels like a waste of time and typing to go against the grain rather than just try and help "DEVELOP" a fix for the other variants

Not disagreeing with your sentiment, but this probably would fall under themes and apps more than it would the development sections (since you're not actually building anything towards Sprint users). That said, I'm not entirely sure if our files will help too much given we're likely to be behind what most other One users are running at this point in terms of software.

I get what you are saying but it's not an app, we don't need a theme or app, we need libs and system files that enable the secure element for Wallet to work. Your files should help because Wallet works for Sprint, other variations of the phone you get insufficient keys get what I mean

Regardless of where the developers may be, the development forums are for releasing things that the OP is actually developing, such as ROMs, kernels, etc. hence I am moving this thread to the Q&A section.
Thanks for understanding.

Hi guys,
I`m a developer and I`m looking for an account already created.
This account must be:
- older than one year
- from the United States of America
- has never had suspended applications
- all active applications will be disabled
If someone has an account that meets these conditions that is no longer useful to him and wants to sell it please leave me a pm.
I hope I posted in the appropriate forum section. Thanks
I am also interested in an account like this. If anyone has please let me know.
it's seem hard to find the account like that. Because no one want to sell it

For what purpose are you going to use the created Google Play account from someone else? Why can't you create your own account instead?
