Hi peeps
What colour your gear??
Finally got the gear on Rose gold. Which I think is the best colour.
What do you guys and gals think is??

youre lucky thats like the rarest color lol
I got black, I like black
I lucked up and got a Rose Gold yesterday when I went to Best Buy to exchange my Jet Black for bluetooth disconnection problems. In my area there are probably more Best Buys in a 50 mile radius than there are Wal- Marts...slight exaggeration of course, but you get the point I checked their inventory for all colors via online and there was one store that had a Mocha Gray in stock. I called the store to verify this and the Rep said they only had 2 left.
Thirty minutes later when I arrived at the store to exchange my Jet Black I was told that their inventory checker is sometimes incorrect and they couldn't locate them. I told them of my conversation with their Rep and my long drive based on her confirmation, so they put forth an effort to locate it for me. During the store search I observed a Best Buy mobile guy place 2 GG boxes in their lockup cabinets.
Fast forward......the guy in charge of the search team informed me that they couldn't find the elusive Mocha Gray. In return I told him I just saw a employee place 2 of them in a case. He immediately went over there and pulled them out and began scanning the bar codes on the boxes. He said unfortunately these are Rose Gold and not Mocha Gray. In excitement I told him I will take the Rose Gold for my exchange, being that this was the model I originally wanted but settled on Jet Black because that was the only color left when I originally went on the hunt for one.
Moral of this story....Best Buy's inventory checker sucks. There's no telling how many sales they have lost because every model online shows up as "unavailable" or "out of stock". As a matter of fact, some models online only give you the option to preorder...including the Rose Gold model. Rest assure, Best Buy stock them on a regular basis, however you must physically go to the store, Best Buy mobile department, and ask which colors they have in stock.

Black because the camera blends in with the watchband. Also it looks nice and not too showy.
Mocha Gray was my first choice, but I bought via the T-Mobile coupon (they don't carry that color), so I got my second choice: black. My Note 3 is black, my Note 10.1 is black, and the interior of my car is black with aluminum accents, so I guess it goes better anyway.
Lime yellow. People have stopped at drive through, office and gym about it.

Black, so the camera is not too much visible.
You should turn this thread into a poll.
For the record I bought black, the same reason as others have mentioned, the camera is less obvious. I really hope there is a way to change the strap in the future however if it breaks.
At malaysia so diffuclt to find one black. dont know why. after 3 weeks i found at subang parade mobile store. only got 1 unit. the box is opened not

I have the Gear (Netherlands). Bought it together with the Note 3 SM-n9005)
I wanted the pink-gold model first, but in the end i got the black edition for the same reason many have mentioned before, more neutral and the camera doesnt show as much... that black edition look real cool without standing out to much.
I have black but I do quite quite fancy the rose gold it does look smart

It's either:
1) google employee exclusive
2) a really good optical illusion
3) reflection from the light box
This is already being discussed in another thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1962811
I'm pretty certain if it was white the face(? lol) would be white too, it's probably just a reflection. Although in my local Phone Shop they have a Nexus 4 wall and it advertises black and white.
I only like white versions if both the front and back are white. Hate the zebra look

Correct me if im wrong but the U.S (Blk) version of the Gnex was released in Dec 2011 and the (wht) version was released 2mon later Feb 2012 over seas ?? Thing is i bought my white GNexus from NEGRIEL ELECTRONICS for $600.00+ so even if they release a white one its going to cost almost double! so now theres 2 things u can do.. buy the black version and when/if the white comes out buy the 'back glass plate' separate and switch it oput buy unscrewing the screws on the bottom of the phone.. or just wait for the white version.
I believe theyll make a white version (see attached pix)

But its only the light reflecting....
Looks white to me (if you look near the top of the device in the still shot) - probably an international version like the Galaxy Nexus

I am wondering if £220 is the price that Google sell it to the CPW for... that price showed up in their system a few days ago (before the launch).
Seems crazy to up the price by more than £100, but people will pay it. It is still quite cheap compare to other phones, if you don't know what Google sell it for...
Des anyone know where I can find someone selling the white back form a Nexus 7 from Google IO? I think it looks much better than the brown one, and yes, I know they are not easy to find.
There's a brown back? Anyways probably may never find anyone selling only the back cover unless they cracked their screen. Best way is to just buy the white version.

Your Nexus back cover is brown not black. Put it next to something true black. The box also lists it as brown.
Haven't seen any white ones pop up on ebay recently. A few did shortly after I/O but they disappeared quickly.

Painting it would be a horrible idea. You can purchase the back cover in many different colors. I would start with that. Then see if they offer the housing in black. The outside edge would still be the chrome look. Do some research on that. Last they sell the glass with black outerlay if you want to call it that. Other than that, I wouldnt know.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
You could buy a new housing, sand it and prime it, paint with krylon fusion and let it cure for 7 days. It's worth the try for the housing but for the screen you would have to buy a new one.

Purchase an OEM back cover that is titanium gray.
Go to http://www.skinit.com/customizer-v2
>>> customize a skin- color the front titanium gray also. It will stick on right over top of the face of the device and look good
If you're in Chicago and on T-Mobile, I'd totally trade you. I wanted the white one, but my T-Mobile store didn't have it at launch day.
if you are on Sprint near minneapolis I would swap

Yeah, won't happen. They've gotten smarter. I remember something coming out earlier this year too and I think I saw one person actually get out of their contract. No one else was able to.
For me, it's not really worth the time. I have the best phone on the market and my area is getting LTE within the next couple months. I'm happy.
The deal isn't even sealed until Wednesday. Doing anything now is pointless. And surely not worth legal action in any case.
What was the actual change?

Since my boyfriend & I are moving in together, I'm going to drop my line & join his account. He gets a discount, so this will be great for us. He can also upgrade his S3 with my white S4, so I can get pink twilight (if Sprint will carry it), when the time comes.
I dont think sprint has any planes on selling any other colors of the S4 than Black and white. Would be nice if they did though

Samsung announced five new colors. They will likely carry purple, hoping for pink. If not, I'll buy from ebay or something. No biggie.
Sprint is quite unlikely to carry these new colors though to be honest, Bobby is right.

"Material change" means "I have to pay a different amount now." The article doesn't really specify how anything has changed in terms of our monthly payments.

I dont have G-Flex yet, but on my old Galaxy S, I was able to calibrate the screen with an app called voodoo color. I hope there is a screen adjuster app for the G-flex too or i hope ther will be

Never noticed it when i had jb but there were some users that had it and exchanged their phones. I guess there is a handfull out there. Might want to look at the early threads.

I have a LG G Flex and my screen has the blue tint. It is especially noticeable on the top part of the screen and is blotchy blue. The bluish tint goes along the top of screen towards the right of screen about a quarter way down . Other than the bluish blotchy area I described ,the rest of the screen is white.
My phone is set at 50% brightness. At 100% brightness the blueish tint isn't as dark and is barely noticeable.
I have read of others having same issue. If you Google it you will read lots of complaints about the bluish tint in different areas of screen from the top to the bottom.
I bought my phone about 7 days ago at Best Buy.
I had upgraded to Android 4.4.2 on At&t. I Had considered possibly exchanging it for another one but I think bluish tint may be normal.

Wow that's strange. I'm absolutely positive that there's a lot of screen variances between these devices. The G Flex on display in my T-Mobile store had an extremely grey look to it, even on 100% brightness. My screen isn't like that, although it's not as white as an LCD, I'm extremely happy with it.
I just took these 2 pictures with my Nexus 5, one with the flash off and another with the flash on.
agreed; I have had 3 gflex's; the first 2 were perfect white screens, no ghosting; my current one is bad, lots of blue tint, and lots of ghosting..
Yours looks way better than mine. I wonder if I should take mine back. I'm worried I might get one that's even worse than my current phone... Thanks for posting the pictures!!?
Sent from my LG-D950 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
unfortunately, thats the risk you take; if you are within your "in store" return period, you could go back to the store and check your replacement out before you take it home, but if you are past that time period, its a roll of the dice..
I'm still within the return period. I might return it on Saturday, which will be day 14 of my return period.
It's a shame, I like the phone and have it set up the way I like it.
The Bluish Screen issue is a bit of concern . I don't know what causes it . I don't know if it will worsen or lead to a future total Screen Failure.
I'm a bit disappointed in Lg though.
I believe they need to work on their quality control and testing before they ship out devices that have an obvious screen defect.
Thanks.
