[Q] GT-I9001 stuck in Samsung Galaxy plus with a big s - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi.
Since there is no Q&A thread for Galaxy S Plus I asked my question here.
I flashed my device with "I9001BUKPC firmware version for Galaxy S Plus (GT-I9001) from region VOD" from samsung-updates ROM. after flashing the phone stucked in Samsung Galaxy S Plus page with a big shining S and rebooting again and again.
What should I do to fix that?

I downloaded the CWM recovery to the phone via odin and wiped data/cache/dalwik and the problem resolved

Soft-bricked galaxy s

Today i tried to flash the galaxy sii firmware port on my galaxy s which was running cm10.1 When i installed it, it got to the opening package in recovery, the phone rebooted and now keeps rebooting and never passes the galaxy s/cynaogenmod logo
I can't enter recovery anymore, only download mode. Can someone post me some links with odin + the right pit file for flashing 2.3.6 stock firmware from sammmobile?

First of all, welcome to the forum, I hope you enjoy our little team here,
now, about gapps, you don't have to find any gapps for stock ROM, they are already included in it,
so just flash the p7310 4.0.4 firmware from SamMobile you downloaded, through odin and you'll get everything you need

If you are certain you have the correct firmware for it, flash it again, if you have twrp, go straight into it after flashing and do a and factory reset. Also, be patient.
This is the thread for your device btw,

just check properly if rom is for your model or not
because Samsung have many model under same name.
like samsung j1 120g is exynos
and samsung j1 120h is spectrum phone
so look carefully and flash it all will work out.
