[Q] (Q) please help..cant on and vibrate 7 times

hi all,
my incredible s is just 1 week old and i cant on it now..
no rooting done and using stock roms..i just download some apps..
now my phone cant on and when i try to hit the power button, nothing shows up and only vibration 7 times..
i hope i can get some help and ways to solve this problem here...
thanks everyone..
Looks like its screwed, go into bootloader ( vol down + power) and use the volume buttons to go to factory reset or wipe data ( don't know the exact command from my head) and press the power button. This will wipe everything so you will lose some data.
If that doesn't work try to flash the Rom again, follow my downgrade guide, but only do the pb32img copy to sdcard and boot into bootloader again. If you need more help just ask!
Gl
i already tried the volume down + power button method but still no response from the phone..nothing came out..just 7 times vibration..
can u give a step by step way to downgraqde or anything that will make it starts..
thanks a lot..
Annoying issue.
Did you contact HTC, or the store?
edit: did some googling for "HTC vibrates seven times", http://community.htc.com/na/htc-forums/android/f/113/t/10043.aspx
Sounds like a serious hardware issue
i hope is a software problem...any more helps here??
Remove battery for roughly a few minutes, make sure the device has no power left, maybe press on when batt is out lol.
Than after a while put back in the batt and do the power and volume trick, if this wont work...

[Q] Phone stuck on first boot screen after flashing DarkyROM 10.2

I have have flash many roms in the past without a problem so I am relatively experienced with it. This last time that I flashed it has become stuck on the first boot screen that shows GALAXY S GT-I900 in white and 'powered by DarkCore...' etc. I realize sometimes it takes a while for the first boot when flashing a new rom, bu this has been over 30 mins. I decided to try and boot into recovery and re-flash it, but it won't boot to recovery! I hold down volume up, home and power and it just cycles between screen off and the first boot screen and never gets to recovery. If anyone has any suggestions on what to do to fix it I would love to hear it. I fear something bad happened somehow.
Use the android SDK to boot into download mode via ADB or buy a jig from eBay if download mode isn't working dude, or you can try this....take battery out, hold vol up + home + power, and shove battery back in, it does get fiddly so its handy to have someone to help lol

I haven't faced such a prob. So I don't know if this method would work but someone else also suggested the same method to the same problem in a thread so giving it a try won't be a waste!

HTC Hero (Sprint) CDMA - Help need! No power

Hello dear all,
Yesterday i installed CyanogenMod 7.2 on my HTC Hero (Sprint) CDMA. - It was awesome and worked great!
and today, i wanted to update my radio. I just found it from my folder. (It was downloaded some days ago)
I copied the file (update-hero-radio-63.18.55.06JU_6.35.09.26-signed) to SD card root and reboted my phone with recovery.
Installed from sd card and it just stucked while updating radio.
So i waited so long and nothing happens.
Then i put my battery out and inserted it.
Tried to power on the device but NO POWER ON. Even no power on LED when it connected to charger.
I just want to mention that IT WONT WORK IF I PRESS (VOL DOWN + POWER/ HOME + POWER/ MENU + POWER/ VOL DOWN + GREEN + POWER )
When i press Power button + VOL UP, it vibrates 3 times
What can i do to get my phone back to normal?
Please help me.
Thank you.

Hold volume button down and then press power button. This should load fastboot and allow you to either install stock image if loaded on sdcard or get into recovery menu.
Hope this helps.

Looks like you flashed a "hero," not a "heroc" radio? They always say the only way to really brick your hero is to mess up flashing a radio :/

Is there any way to re-flash this?
Unfortunately not, without hand flashing equipment and a bit of engineering knowledge your phone is a brick. There is no way to recover it.

Please help ... stuck Htc ONE when installing ARHD 9.4

Please help me ... my Htc One remain stuck at this point when i try to install ARHD 9.4 and i can't do nothing ...
That's a problem with AROMA installer which it mentions in the ARHD FAQ.
Reboot back into recovery to flash again and try using the volume keys to move through the options and power button to select the options. This worked for me when it froze on me

Adb reboot recovery

Hold down the power button for about 20-30 seconds and it should power off (this acts the same as a battery pull). If that doesn't work, try holding power + volume down for 20-30 seconds. If that doesn't work either then I think you'll have to wait for the battery to run out unfortunately.

Hold your phone under a bright light (like a light bulb or something) and hold power + volume down until it reboots or turns off. It usually works with this crash.

It's not ARHDs fault your phone crashed. It's a problem with AROMA, the installer that installs most/all? Sense-based ROMs so you would probably get crashes with any ROM. Just don't use the touch screen, instead use the volume and power buttons to navigate around the options and be patient. Some people get 5 or more crashes when trying to install ROMs.

You mean your battery ran out? Put it on charge for 30mins then try again. Hold volume down + power until the bootloader screen shows.
Thanks boys my phone is on again .... Can u recomand me a custom rom please ?

Not really - it depends what you're looking for. I've ran ARHD, TrickDroid and Renovate - they're all great and stable ROMs but there are also others - you should read about all the ROMs and just choose one, if you don't like it just flash another.
Also, it's nice to click the Thanks if someone helps you :good:
Yes my phone is stuck again when i want to use aroma ... this time i tried to instal renovate rom )) and i only use physical keys
Use the latest twrp recovery and pause for 3-5 secs before making a selection, also try avoiding using the touch screen. I have used these tips, and aroma has not frozen on me for the last 15-20 flashes.

You'll have to flash back to stock using Odin KK4 without bootloaders. From there, you should be able to work your way back up to CM.
Sent from my SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
if problem persists after flashing per BWolf56's post, then you might try cleaning both volume keys and power button. another cause could be broken or dirty capacitive 4 button assembly. if the vol or capacitive buttons are shorted, you could get the erractic boot/recovery/download modes that you describe.
Sent via Monty Pythons Flying Circus
And if you are lazy to follow the recommendations in the above posts, just go to att device center they will flash it back to stock gb even if outside warranty period
