So a while back .. out of nowhere , my phone stopped to recognize the internal sd card , I can't access it through any app .. nor does it show up on storage settings , the computer or CWM ..
I've looked up several fixes , but none of them seem to work ..
I tried to reflash the ROM , wiped cache .. And nothing.
I'm running the latest PA (4.3) ..
Thank you for taking the time to read this , hopefully someone will manage to come up with a fix ..
try to flash a stock JB first.. then test the storage.. If ok then you can reflash the PA rom..

Hello,
firstly, i am very sory for posting this two times as i already posted this in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=882822&page=4
Please do not flame me.. i'm only doing this because i'm getting desparate, and maybe it could, to some extent, help some of you to at least make your phone usable as a dumbphone.
I have a problem with my internal SD.. it's very complicated how it came to all this so i'm going to give you a short version..
I've had the phone for over a month now using darkys roms (with voodoo enabled) and then my cat peed on the phone which resulted in me opening it up and cleaning it with alcohol as it went into a restart loop. the phone then booted into recovery but i couldn't mount the sd card.. i then used the JPU 2.2.1 firmware and instaled it with odin. and it worked.. i could access everithyng normaly, but then:
I tryed to do a wipe version of darkys 8.0 and the phone froze when installing.. afterwards i tried to install a stock 2.2.1 JPU firmware and it kept restarting, then i tried the 2.1 again and after the boot animation it booted into a black screen with buttons working (LED).. after some research i installed 2.2.1 again and used speedMod 256 Hz with odin.. now it boots normaly to the system but the internal sd can't be mounted any way so i cant install any apps or use the camera, etc.. it's strange, cause i can't even mount the external SD not in the system and not in recovery (clockwork or e3) (it seems the ext SD is recognised only as a subfolder of the internal SD.. it sucks) so i can't format it.. i still have some hope because the phone boots every time i flash speedmod over 2.2.1 firmware and works as "normal", even if i restart (except some settings not being saved like my google account info..
I guess i hope there is some way to make the phone recognize the external SD card as it's default with some custom kernel, that is why i posted in this thread..
My phone is Europe I9000 non carrier version..
If someone can help me i will be extreemely grateful!
Thanks

NEED HELP
I know that many people had the same issue with the galaxy note and ICS.
I did a fullwipe with ICS installed last night and as every body knows , the phone won't boot
I downloaded more that 20 custom & stock ROMS. Tried all kernels but still nothing.
It started by recovery problems
I could not mount /data
No i can mount data but my phone can not see the SDCARD , even the internal card is not visibile.
I can not try to code with adb because my phone is not rooted anymore and i can not root through CWM because my phone doesn nor recognize the SD card
Is there any alternative way to odin or something to flash the roms ?
Like all other friends who had the same problem with odin , it hangs on *.img data.
HELP
So , to begin with I had cyanogen mod 9.1 on my phone .
Please view this thread :
Code:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1948053
So according to that thread , my phone had 4 partitions and like one senior member said I tried using link2sd . It couldn't move files to sd card . But it had an option called create a link with sd card . That freed up some space so I started linking apps . Then android.comm.process popped up . I rebooted but my phone was then stuck on the loading screen . I started recovery and wiped my data . Then my phone got started again .
But the problem was that my phone still had those 4 partitions . So I decided to delete the sd card . I backup'ed my contents and then went to settings and wiped the sd card . I rebooted my phone . That's where the problem started .
My phone was getting stuck at the loading screen . I tried wiping cache , dalvik cache , data but to no avail and I couldn't mount the sd card or the sd card ext . In short , I couldn't access my phone .
I decided to install the stock rom again(Gingerbread official) . But that too failed , I am still stuck at the boot screen and the phone goes into a continuous loop of restart .
P.s My cwm was deleted automatically after installation of stock rom .
Edit : I was successful in installing cwm in my phone
Please help
If Gingerbread is installed successfully & ur phone bootloops, pull out the battery, re-insert it, goto recovery & do wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache. It's recommended to do this from stock recovery. I had success turning my phone on after wiping data/cache of stock rom from stock recovery. However, I did that again after immediately flashing CWM Recovery & it again goes into infinite bootloops. Better to use Stock Recovery for this.
Hope this helps!!...

Firstly if ur phone is down, u should use odin to flash the stock rom by going into download mode as it works in bootlooped devices(TESTED over 20 times) ,further since your problem is LINK2SD related u should have wiped ur phone by CWM.DONT WORRY if all else fails go to SAMSUNG SERVICE CENTRE.

I just had the same thing happen when trying to go back to stock.
I have done lot of Google , and finally i am able to use my phone .
But the thing is that now i am using a custom rom of Super nexus 4.2.2
Instructions to install that rom are :
! : Install CWM recovery , use the link provided below
http://www.idroidspace.com/root-samsung-galaxy-s-gt-i9000-and-install-cwm-recovery-how-to/
And i have downloaded "CF-Root for XXJW4"
2. I have downloaded downloaded a custom rom from xda only link is provided below
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2219235
Just download latest build and gapps .
Once these files are downloaded move them in your sd caerd
3. I hope till now your phone is also rooted so take out battery , reinsert it and press "volume up , home, and power key together"
scroll down using volume keys and chose "install zip from sd card" press home key to make selection
Then scroll down to apply zip from external sd card
4 . Now select the rom that you have downloaded and install it
5. Now in a similar manner install gapps from external sd card
6. Reboot the phone and you are good to go now .
My Phone is Samsung GT-S5302 ( Galaxy Y Duos Lite ) .
I recently rooted my phone without any trouble.. And then moved on to install a custom rom.
But the rom i downloaded was for another Galaxy y and not my same version..
When it was installed, camera, wifi, settings, practically everything didnt work.. couldnt call.. and no play store installed. The WORST part is my usb storage nor my external memory card is being detected on my phone or on pc..
Before installing the custom rom , i read to backup the stock rom in case of situations like this.. But When i used rom manager it said no cwm mode available for your device .. and i couldnt make a backup. NO STOCK ROM BACKUP :/
Thinking the custom rom would work, i installed it anyway.. and this happens..
I checked the other threads here.. and then tried to reinstall the stock rom.. I searched for a stock rom for my model and downloaded one which i think is the right one..
I went to download mode on my phone and flashed the stock rom that i downloaded using odin [ it is not the real one as i did not make any backup ]
Then the phone rebooted and the samsung logo came up.. and does not move from that screen..
So technically the phone doesnt start now..
Should i install gingerbread manually as well ? if so how to do that ?
1) Is there any way i can get my phone back ? or is it permanently f'd up ?
2) is this what u mean by a bricked phone ?
dont care if its a stock rom or a working custom rom.. .. I just want my phone to work again..
Got it Fixed
turns out i only soft bricked my phone..
After wiping the cache it worked again.. so .. problem solved..
