[Q] Cyanogenmod 10.1.3 (Stable) on HTC One 4.3 - Sprint HTC One (M7)

Hello everyone!
This is my first time posting on these forums.
I been looking on Youtube and searching on Google for a step-by-step guide on how to install Cyanogenmod 10.1.3 on my HTC One 4.3. I know the basics on rooting but I haven't done it on my HTC One since I bought it. I would like to know if someone has a video or guide that shows how to do this as I mentioned before step-by-step.
I would appreciate any help on this matter.
Thank you all!
Jorge

Google "how to root HTC one qbking77". This is a quick overview of what he says to do.
1) unlock bootloader via HTC Dev
2) flash twrp or cwm via fastboot
3) copy superuser onto phone
4) boot into recovery by holding vol down 5) flash super user
6) reboot- you are now rooted
7) move desired cm ROM from get.cm onto phone
8) move appropriate gapps from goo.im into phone
9) boot into recovery, (you will want to do a backup at this point) wipe system, cache, and i believe data/media (factory reset in TWRP), flash ROM, then flash gaps and reboot! Done!
10) optional - s off via rumrunner and hide all traces of modding
There maybe a few errors here, but this is the general outline of what you'll need to do.

[Q] Cyanogenmod boot loop

I recently tried to install CyanogenMod 10.1 on my HTC One. I've rooted the device, which was pretty simple. Then i followed these instructions:
Step 1: Download the CM 10.1 Nightly for HTC One from get.cm/?device=m7 and the latest Google Apps package from here goo.im/gapps, and transfer them to the root of your HTC One’s internal storage.
Step 2: Boot your HTC One into recovery mode by pressing Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously .
Step 3: In CWM recovery, select Install ZIP from SD card, followed by choose ZIP from SD card, and flash the CM10.1 ZIP package that you downloaded above.
Step 4: Repeat the above step and flash the Google Apps ZIP file.
Step 5: Now, after having flashed both packages, select wipe data/factory reset in recovery.
Step 6: Reboot the device
I forgot to "select woe data/factory reset", and to flash the gapps, but i could just download them in rommanager... And then i should be running android 4.2.2, but there is a boot loop, now i have waited all night, but it still shows the cyanogenmod boot animation. i have all the required files on my pc, but my backup on my phone isn't there anymore. Please help me, i'm very new at this, and i'm only 14 years old. I spent about 850$ on this phone (i live in Denmark) so if my phone is "broke" then i'm screwed. As i said, im pretty new at this, so i need step by step instructions.
Just follow CM instructions.
You really need to wipe/reset the user data and the caches, otherwise there will be trouble. I accidently forgot to wipe and it took a day and a night for the phone to discharge so I could properly install. Just follow the direction exactly.
Longpress power button.
Reboot in fastboot and try to flash the boot.img (you can found it in the zip of rom), and flash it from fastboot with the command:
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
After flash, type:
Code:
fastboot erase cache
Now, reboot your device with
Code:
fastboot reboot
Now it should work..

Like we've said on every other thread like this, most ROMs we have require an unlocked bootloader and real recovery. You can unlock your bootloader with Myth Tools and install the new touch Clockworkmod through fastboot.
The few ROMs that don't require unlocked bootloaders are Golden, Batakang, Clean, Nexesque, Supreme, Joker, etc.
BEFORE YOU UNINSTALL SAFESTRAP, go into the recovery and delete and ROM slots you have personally created, do not delete stock (not sure if possible, don't try). Then uninstall the recovery through the app, then uninstall the app. Then unlock your bootloader using Myth Tools. If you don't care about have CWM touch recovery (just prefer non-touch) you don't need to do anything other than unlock your bootloader and install recovery through Myth Tools. If you do want touch, you'll have to download it from the 6.0.3.6 touch thread (and unzip it) and put your phone in fastboot mode (hold vol. down when you boot), shift-click inside your Downloads folder (on PC) and click open command prompt window here, and type "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" and then you can boot into CWM (hold vol. up when booting) and you should be good to go to flash MIUI.
Steps you WILL want to follow:
1. Backup current ROM (preferably to external SD, as it's backing up everything and will be large ~1gb)
2. Wipe data/factory reset
3. Format /system
4. Mount /system
5. Flash ROM
6. Restore apps (you did back up your user apps with Titanium Backup, right?)
7. Good to go, enjoy MIUI

[Q] Need help on flashing PA 4+

6. FACTORY RESET
7. WIPE CACHE & DALVIK CACHE
8. INSTALL ROM AND GAPPS
9. REBOOT
UPUPUP
Welcome to XDA!
Custom ROM are not for people who cant understand it because they will use it wrong. And there are tons of guide of this site for unlock bootloader, root...
First you need to checkout the topics on unlocking bootloader http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2439328 by krabappel2548
unlocking bootloader may void your warranty, but you need to unlock your bootloader if you are gonna flash another kernel (which Paranoid Android, CyanogenMod, PAC-Man, ... need)
Check that topic out, you need to backup your TA partition before unlocking and ..
When your bootloader is unlocked, you should flash the kernel that comes with PA (On the zip file) instructions are here somewhere
Then you can boot to recovery and flash PA and it's GAPPS (Google Apps) and reboot to it!
Easy

[Q] Stuck on Htc Logo cannot reboot

Hello all,
After following a few possibly outdated threads I was following this tutorial I found using google search (probably should have checked around for the all in one toolkit first):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2182792
Since I looked at a bunch of ROM reviews I thought I'd try SlimRoms. So as per the suggestions under step 3, I skipped to step 4. I then followed the SlimRom instructions. I flashed Gapps successfully, but got a failed message when trying to flash the ROM. So I thought I'd just go to step 3 again. At this point I tried to reboot and got the following message
"Your device does not appear to be rooted. Install SuperSU now?..."
I choose to install and that's when my problem started. I was stuck at the htc loading screen. The following thread seemed like it would help, but since I installed the TWRP recovery 'm not sure where to find where to erase the cache and side load ROM for one.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2280230
I may have a learned a lesson, but still don't want to give up on taking a stab at having a rooted phone. I'd like to get better at it, so thanks for any and all advice.
Also sorry if the question sounds a little incoherent, I'm kinda tired and frustrated at the moment.

Thanks much man. I tried this but kept getting this error in trying to wipe dalvik and cache. So after several different attempts (rebooting, recovery, etc.) I decided to just format data. I then used the adb sideload feature in TWRP to try putting the zips back onto the sd card. Several frustrating failed attempts due to CP continuously telling me device not found. Finally, after making sure not to let my phone rest, I was able to get both on and then rebooted in TWRP. Ta da! I finally got past the HTC Logo screen and saw the sweet SlimKat logo. Now I'm just waiting for it to connect to service.
I never thought I'd be able to comprehend all this as I just started learning today, but thanks to you folks at XDA I'm (hopefully) starting to benefit. Hope to keep learning from you all. Thanks again.

[Q] PLEASE HELP!!!-Stock ROM ,no custom kernel can't mod(stock)5.0-ROOTED (TWRP)

Can really use a step by step on how to recovery so I can flash custom ROM-in the absolute simplest terms humanly possible.Still learning and would be SO grateful-need someone to tell me in a way I can get (and I am not completely stupid)...I want to be able to put cyanogen (or whatever else is awesome) on my phone and the recovery is all I really need help with,,,I have 5.0 lollipop on an HTC one(m7)-STOCK ROM -NO custom Kernel-and cannot mod because I am stock-merely rooted with team win recovery method.
First do u have a custom recovery and second is your bootloader at least unlocked
That is what I am trying to do now is install custom recovery which I THINK I MAY have already done with flashify-just need to verify with someone that knows...used flashify to download TWRP 2.8.6.0 on my Sprint HTC one M7 -phone went into recovery mode ,taem win RP came up, I hit the reboot window ,another screen popped up with 4 windows( one was system and another said recovery-I hit system and phone rebooted) now flashify says"recent recovery images" and lists the newer TWRP version-back-up and restore also has restore recovery and restore kernel option because I backed up both...Did I do the right thing???Did I install a custom recovery...??????-Thankyou for your time anyone that can help me out...!!!
