Hello!
Congratulations for the job!
I have installed the last xdandroid on my Touch Diamond2.
Everything perfect, but when the mobile is going in sleep mode, the green LED lights up, when it stays in this state I can not receive calls until restart it, although when I call my number, tone is heard ..
Any ideas?
Thanks

I am sorry but the problem is in the kernel and there is nothing that can be done right now only by fixing the kernel.
no problem, xdandroid is a great work, thanks for the answer.
Hi,
I am real wondering that people ask for ROMS when this bug is still there.
I can live without sound, Flash, maybe WIFI but to receive calls is a basic.
-Are there people do not have this problem
- Is this depending if you have Monodie or not?
- Is there something I can help with debuging? It looks for me the whole call service is geting struggeling when green LED comes.
Please understand,
The developement is so incredible to change from a crap WM6.5 phone to Froyo the MUST HAVE feeling is so strong.
That's why
Cheers and thanks

I'm reading that too, but on the other hand many people are stating they're using XDAndroid for days without the call sleep bug. And they have the same kernel as me, so that makes you wonder...
Has anyone tried this possible workaround?
Lost Signal Workarround
Hi, I tried,
If Startup.txt is with ...pm_sleep_mode=3 then it works but lot of draining
if standart startup.txt have sleep problem
Greets
Dirk
I'm using pm_sleep_mode=2 which seems to be a good trade off between battery and the sleep problem. Sometimes after the phone has been going awhile outgoing calls don't work but incoming ones do. That can be fixed by going into airplane mode and back out again.
I tried all values 0 to 4 for pm_sleep_mode, but no luck. I even made sure I had a new data.img created every time for every value. Nothing. First incoming call immediately goes wrong.
I´m currently on Tweaky´s 4.1 Gingerbread ROM.
Works perfectly but I want to turn Battery charge notification completely off. Now, even when I´m in silent mode, the phone vibrates when the charge is complete. This wakes me up when I´m asleep, very annoying.
Is there any way to turn the notification off?
I didn´t have this problem on Froyo.
I would ask this question in Tweaky´s thread in the developers section but I´m not allowed since I´m new in the forum.
Regards,
BUMP
Maybe somebody could be kind enough to copy and paste my above question in the Tweaky ROM thread in the developers section?
I've had the same problem, just put paper under the phone

Try turning sound off then go to settings and turn vibrate to never. If that doesn't work try to delete the sound from system/media folder....just a guess but if no sound file then no sound

Thanks for the reply.
Will try to set vibration to Never and see if that helps. Now I have the phone on silent and vibrate "Only when not in silent mode". That should be enough one would think.
Deleting the soundfile, do that really make any difference since it´s the vibration I
can´t get rid off?

Yeah that should work. I tried it last night and I didn't hear a thing....maybe I'm a heavier sleeper or maybe it worked.
The reason I suggested deleting sound file is so you wouldn't need to put phone in silent. If the first suggestion works then ignore the second

Deleted the batteryrelated sound files from the system/media folder.
No luck, the phone still vibrates when the battery is fully charged.
Maybe I need to switch ROM... :-(
Any more suggetstions?
Apparently not ROM related.
I have tested and the same problem exists on Doc´s ROM and Juwe´s ROM running JVH.
This is ridiculous, is there really no way to make the phone NOT vibrate in the middle of the night???
Please help me with this....

Follow the development thread of your ROM. As you didn't mention which one it is, only you know.
I've read about that issue in the CM11 thread. It will probably be improved soon. You will can post in the development threads after your 10th post.

Hi,
I have a s3 mini, and i recently installed Cyanogenmod 11 from Maclaw (Works Awesome) the only thing i'm noting, is that when you update your twitter feed (Swipe from the top to update) Twitter usually makes a sound, but instead is making a weird electric buzz and also when i enable sound when i type on Swiftkey is still making that weird buzz, i removed the EQ app, but still nothing.
Thanks in advance.

and what update from today?
yeah I'm having the issue too. Happens on phone unlock and some other notifications. Doesn't matter how quiet I have the notifications volume.
There has been no update to Maclaw Carbon since 5 January... In fact there has been no update on the official Carbon website since 4 Jan
Oh wait... this is for CyanogenMod not Carbon. Funny, I'm getting the same issue with my Carbon ROM...
Gues Carbon is on CM Sources by Maclaw, so same issues. Don´t think that @thehacka1 is going it to update it in next time...
But for me, everything works fine. No sound issue... Maybe i´m a lucky guy
Maybe it is, I don't know, device especific? I mean, I have the same problem with twitter with both notifications and "refresh" sound, but in my case is random, however. I can refresh now and get the weird buzz, and refresh two hours later hearing nothing but Twitters original sounds. So maybe is something varying from device to device that causes the bug "always" in some releases, and sometimes or never in others.

Did you try with a clean install? Can´t imagine this problem could be device specific
Scratching sound is also present while using Line app.

Now that you mention it and I recall, my latest clean install was CM 10.2... After that i've been just cleaning caches after any flash, no full wipes. I'll try a clean install later (tomorrow, here xD)

I did a Clean install with today's release, scratching, buzzing sound still present.
Apps With the Issue
-While Refreshing Twitter.
-When you enable key sound on Swiftkey, when you press any key the buzzing appears.
- Tap Tap Revenge.
- Line.
I think the buzzing appears when the sound from the App is Loud and Sharp.
Still not fixed. i have an i8190L
OK, as i see, Mac already gave the answer... So there's hope for you guy's

In my case it's triggered by CSipSimple or by T-Mobile's visual voicemail app..

Do you know what was causing it? Maybe the maintainers of CM11 for S3 need a tip to sort it out..
Hi everyone..
There is proplem with speaker.. I think its with last update
Same time when I answer to coming call , speaker work automatic by himself.
There is any fix for that?
There are a LOT of threads with the same subject... And it's not the last update, it happens across various builds.
Try disabling Chrome updates, restart phone and see how it goes.
