[Q] Improve CM GPS accuracy - Sprint HTC One (M7)

As everybody knows, CyanogenMod doesn't have the greatest accuracy when it comes to the GPS and navigation. I'm currently running the latest CM11 nightly, is there any way to improve the accuracy to the point real-time navigation is possible?

Is there a way to adjust the accelerometer sensitivity in CM 6.1? It seems like the slightest movement of my hero turns my screen 90°......

Bump. I would love to know this too.
Someone suggested going into GPS Status and calibrating pitch & roll as a way to do this. Tried it , doesn't seem to completely do the trick, but helps a little....

Look into custom kernels

Post your screen on time and your battery graph.
Also that version of cyan has bugs that were fixed starting in nightly #74 which fixed battery life, call bug, and others. So I'd really try the latest nightly. My battery life is superb, best this nexus has ever been since it released.

[Q] The best gps

Hi all, i wanted to ask which is the best rom for gps navigation because i will travel and i need the best gps rom could anyone help me ?
For what I know the thing that affects GPS is the baseband, ril & kernel. Not really about the rom itself.
I use temasek rom and kernel. Gps works great, very fast fix!

Sygic 11.2.6. been using it since i got my phone. Great
its important to use mobile data for A-GPS for quick fix.
and i use navigon, its very good navigation software.
i would also suggest you Sygic (3d, new maps, high quality), as well as FasterGps (by Dominik Schürmann, creator of AdAway)
In addition, you can also use GpsFix by Android Labs for a faster gps fix

I use sygic too and am so far pleased. If you have a car charger use it or change the settings for better performance (more battery drain but lot faster). It is the default profil if the phone is charging. I don't use A-gps cause the data over mobile network is still expensive here in Greece!
Thanks everyone for the reply! I just installed Sygic and it's wonderful. Thanks.

Dark mod is cool. Nightlies are getting better since it's not 4.2 yet...
Don't use M snapshot, nor "stable"... it means nothing.

[Q] JB - tv out and gps

Hi all,
Is anyone successfully using a JB rom for Google maps, specifically the GPS and also a working tv out feature?
I tried slim bean 4.2.2 but cannot get a picture on any of my Samsung tv's when enabling tv out with the specific cable. Also finding Google maps keeps displaying detecting GPS although GPS toolbox says I have 8 satellites.
Thanks,
JRSE
I'd suggest flashing CM10 stable or a derivative of it and try again.
4.2.2 isn't stable, so...

Thanks Hr Kristian for pointing me in the right direction.
I tried CM10 but had same issue so suspected something other than JB ROM and investigated further finding the cable wasn't terminating for video. Corrected this and tv out works on slim bean 4.2.2.
As for GPS I am seeing sats but not locking. I am going to try the GPS hardware fix as seen on this forum.
