Hi all, I upgraded from a flashed to near death sensation at the weekend. I can't root etc at the moment as i'm without broadband. So my question is getting my titanium backed-up apps onto the One. I know I can get the apk files out of the back-ups but what about the saved data etc?

You can copy the titanium backup map to the storage of your one. Then let titanium backup scan the device and your backups should be there to restore.

Hi I would like to know if it's okay to delete everything on my SD Card and then flash a new ROM. I want to do this because there are a lotttttt of useless folders that belonged to some apps which I deleted. So is there any problem if I wipe everything on my SD Card? I will of course leave my ROM zip file in it to flash it. But is it okay tho? Thanks in advance!
If you had backedup your apps with titanium backup you lose it all. And when you format your sd-card you lose that Rom you're gonna flash.

Yeah dude its ok. When you flash the new rom it'll create a new android folder for all your system junk.

Does Titanium keep the backups in it's own folder, or in each apps' folder?
So could you wipe everything but the titanium folder, then restore apps that way?

In its own folder, just like cwm keeps your backups in one folder.

For a second there I thought that was a link to answer my q
It is that easy, just don't backup system apps or data, only backup user apps and data and then restore on the note 2.
I've had backups from years ago and they've worked with every device I've had

Thanks man
Dropbox can be your best friend in that situation too.
Also, sync with Google too, like your contacts and stuff.

You can even restore the apps from within CWM Recovery!
Just make sure you create the appropriate .ZIP on Titanium Backup (Batch / Recovery Mode / Create "Update.zip" from app+data backups)
Cheers!

Just bought an LT25i, need to transfer the following data from the Nexus to my new LT25i Xperia V.
The Nexus has no sdcard slot so I have to backup to my pc.
Please tell me how to transfer the following data to my LT25i:
1. Seleted user apps and the apps external data, yes with market links.
2. sms, contacts
Use a third party so from the market. Airdroid, Titanium Backup, myphoneexplorer or sms backup are a few examples of them.
Sent from my LT30p xda premium app.
How do I customise the signature on xda premium app?

Thanks but can you give me more detail?
I am facing the following difficulties:
1. The Nexus has no sdcard slot and the internal memory is out of space, need to backup the data to my PC.
2. Do I need to root the LT25i? Now sure how to do that to my phone.

All of those apps either use storage on your PC or on your google account. Install them and follow the instructions.
As far as I know only titanium backup requires root access, the others do not.
There is no need for a SDcard as all data is transfered via wifi, usb cable, bluetooth or 3g....

Titanium backup can, not sure about airdroid.
However, if you have a recovery installed make a nandroid and you can try to restore the data partion on the new phone, however, often restoring those kind of settings will make the phone buggy,
As for market links, just restore the apps using titanium or airdroid, or myphoneexplorer or any of the vast other apps that do this and then google play will automatically pick up the links....
Please just have a go at doing it, then ask questions about any problems
the Xperia V can't even root how can I restore app+data and market links with Titanium backup??

once you have root, you can flash another FTF and follow the instructions to keep root.
Please have a go at doing this first before posting again, you are asking questions that you may find the answer to yourself if you try it.
You will not lose any data ob your old phone so why not just try any of the numerous solutions I have offered and then ask about issues.
try this

Made a backup of my C6906 .518 Xperia Z1 using Titanium Backuo before flashing iHackers V1.1
Now, when I want to restore my data, the app doesn't recognize the backup files, even when they clearly are in the SD card.
Anyone knows what could be wrong?
Goto to preferences and set the backup directory again. You can get titanium to look on your sd card or on the whole device

Ok, now the backup files have disappeared from the SD card, but luckily I made a copy of the backup in my PC.
I'm restoring the data right now, but it seems Titanium got stuck at restoring VLC.
Is that supposed to happen?
No, do a hard reset, and try again, occasionally mine does that, and when trying again it works fine

It got stuck again after hard resetting it for the 1st time, but the 3rd time was the charm.
Thanks a lot!
