I got the kit Kat update a couple of days ago on my AT&T moto x and now pictures I have saved since then won't show up. They're there if I take them, but if I save a pic that someone sends me or from twitter, it doesn't show up.
I've already opened up the images through root explorer, cleared cache, and reset the phone. Anyone else with this issue or just have suggestions? I did switch to ART as well, but haven't switched back to see if it would fix it.

Since Google is moving photos to G+ and away from Picasa, I am able to view all of my "Picasa" albums if I use the "G+ Photos" icon but the standard Gallery icon shows only Camera as an option. None of my albums or "Auto Backup" is there.
The issue with this, for me, is if I take a photo on another of my Android devices and then try to post the photo from the X, I can choose to take a photo or the gallery, that's it. Effectively, I can't post a photo to, say, Facebook unless it was taken with the Moto X. Within "G+ Photos" you can easily post the Google +, but that's it; not Twitter or FB.
I loaded ROM after ROM on my GNex and the gallery always showed my images, not with the X. Yes, sync is turned on.
Thoughts?
This is the way Google is doing things now. For using photos across multiple devices I use dropbox camera upload. I can take a picture on my phone then pull it from drop box to edit it with snapseed on my Nexus 7.
I flashed the S4 camera and now in gallery I see my back up photos, so If you want that feature you will have to use an older gallery app

I downloaded a picture to be my wallpaper and it didn't show in the gallery until I rebooted.
Punit Soni, Motorola Moto X Product Manager, posted in a Google+ Q&A today (well, technically yesterday) that a fix for the galley sync is coming very soon. It is a bug for right now that'll be fixed.

Thanks!:good:
Anyone else have this issue with Google play, it downloads about 30 apps, then errors out, have tried all things I can think of. Including a reset.

I've had this issue on past phones. I assume you are restore all your apps from the play store.
I read on some forum to sign out of your Google account for a day and don't sign back in on anything. That includes your new phone or the Web.
I'm not sure if a full day is necessary, but that is what I read and what I did. Once I signed back in it loaded up no problem. It has something to do with your account clearing cache or something.
Good luck.

Any update on this? I'm getting the same thing - can't download any app from Google Play. Every one gives a 920 error.
Very disappointing ... curious how you solved this? I've tried clearing cache and factory reset, as well as removing and re-adding google account ...
Google Play Error 920 - New Moto X Unlocked
Same error 920 for me. Brand new Moto X, Unlocked, on T-Mobile.
Cleared cache, signed out of Google account, etc. to no avail. Any other suggestions?

So I've had my moto x rooted for a while and everything worked perfectly fine. Then I got busy and didn't play many games on my phone until I tried to recently and they don't work. I downloaded the smashhit game which looks like fun but it doesn't work. I can see that the app opens but its transparent and I can see my home screen. Pushing the recent apps but shows that the app opened but its not showing. So I redownloaded and same thing. Downloaded another game and same thing. I have my phone rooted with xposed framework installed but the weird thing is that games worked when I first installed it. Another weird issue with my phone is when I try to switch to ART runtime the phone reboots but doesn't go through the phase of adjusting all the apps and stay on delvik. Has anybody else experienced this?

If the games don't work, I doubt its the phone....its the games.
And if you have Xposed, art will not stay on. Its art or Xposed.

Out of no where my phone has lost all of its pics. Wondering if this has happened to anyone else? I went to go open my gallery and found I had no images in it, I did have my other albums but anything taken with the camera was deleted.

Do you back up to Google+?
Folders are tagged to show in the gallery. I'd check the file system and see if everything is still there.

Yesterday a message appeared in my gallery saying there is no memory or pics in the folder and close itself, reboot the phone and everything works fine

Sounds like the virtual SD card partition is corrupt. I would try a reboot and if that doesn't work you may have to do a factory reset.
What happens when you plug the phone into a computer?
Hi, got my new moto g yesterday and rootet it. With titanium backup i deleted few system apps like Motorola alert etc. Now i have lost the batterysaveoption tab, the energysaving mode who controls sync-stuff. I don't use it and don't need it but just for intrest, what system app caused it, whats the name of the app?
Not sure. I deleted the all those apps as well and I have no problem.
