this could be a very stupid question to ask but i am confused about which version of the Philz Recovery to install. i mean which is the latest version ? my device build number is DDLSC. Galaxy Note (India)... and any known pros or cons for the latest version. i am new to this stuff....Sorry of its a repeat of a similar thread...

Lately it seems as if the device is running a little sluggish.
What ROM or ROM/KERNEL would you recommend I try next? My daily phone is a CM7 variant on an HTC Inspire 4G. I'm not a fan of MIUI.
Please help, there's so many ROMS now, I'm not sure where to go next

Ooops , overlooked the AT&T thingy Your best bet will be then to read this manual ... It gives specific instructions for the AT&T phones in the 'restocking'part...

This my new version now.

So how restore my original version and i cant update my phone?

U can (probably) flash the rom once again (Just the rom with wipes) with out flashing the kernel..
plus u can ask this question in SGS 2 Forum..

I have a question that may seems a bit noobish here about the baseband version indicated in the posts regarding custom ROM flashing.
My phone shows the following baseband version number: I8190XXALK1. Is there any compatibility issue with the roms currently listed in that forum ?
Basically, is there any risk for me to brick my phone when installing a ROM for a I8190XXALK6 baseband ?

my questions here are:
1.Do I need to install an unbranded ROM first ?
2. Which One ?
I search on sammobile but there's not a single ROM that says "unbranded".
3. Can I use any ODIN to install any ROM ? or they are specific ?

2.i am Seite you ICs4.04 OTA Version an than im installed cm 10.2 froh COM with CWM 6.0.2.7 from bis thread
3. You can usw Odin to flash THW cwm and the ICs stock 4.04 Ota all other you can flash over cwm
Please the read the instructions in THW treads.
