Hello everyone!
I just flashed the Android Revolution ROM (5.1 version) and it wouldn't boot properly- (I was using twrp and had S-Off) afterwards I flashed clockworkmod to see if maybe twrp was the issue...
Now my phone will only boot into fastboot and refuses to reboot or boot into recovery.. I'm totally out of ideas and the toolkits I've used in the past don't seem to be of any use.
If anyone has any clue or tip then I would greatly appreciate it!
Hi.
I'm in the same situation as this poor fella (only fastboot, no CWM recovery) except my situation might be even worse as I'm running Windows 8.1, this stupid OS which prevents to use fastboot. I know there is a solution to make it work on W8.1, but unfortunately there is no USB 3.0 port on my computer so I can't use the Intel driver workaround.
So right now my phone is stuck on the bootloader screen and I really don't know what to do anymore.
I'm freaking out at the fact that I've lost my primary phone...argh. I wish I never quickly went for the 4.4 roms.. been giving me trouble
Well.. I flashed twrp through fastboot using Hasoon's HTC Toolkit and it looks like it worked but.. when trying to boot into recovery it freezes then cycles through rebooting..
Had these issues too, only option was ruu to get my phone back up and running.

1. Download a fresh copy of the latest twrp 2.6.3.3 from here ------> http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
2. Throw that recovery image into your fastboot folder and rename it twrp
Fastboot erase cache
Fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
Fastboot erase cache
Fastboot reboot-bootloader
Sometimes that erase cache command does the trick

Forgive my ignorance but I've only been using Toolkits and have no clue on how to run commands through the command prompt..
But I am willing to learn! Where exactly would you recommend me looking into to get this working?
(I have the SDK manager and HTC usb files if that helps?)

No problem bro, I'm always down to help someone learn and fastboot/adb is a MUST if you are a rooter bc it'll get your ass out of a bind quick. I'll need to know what OS your computer is running while I gather the necessary downloads and screenshots so I can help you as much as I can

Yeah I'm slowly realizing that I can't run away from learning this information!
I'm using Windows 7 (32 bit)
Also I ran into this article: http://www.redmondpie.com/how-to-set-up-android-adb-and-fastboot-on-windows-tutorial/
This might help I think?
I'm at work now then going to the gym if I'm still up and you need help I'll post in the thread to see how things are going... Good luck in the mean time tho. Post your hboot and what is you're on fastboot garvar all is needed to help with ruu.

Hey guys
I just rooted my HTC One yesterday and installed a custom rom on it, all went well until my brain went stupid and formatted data, system, sdcard and i had no nandroid backup in place. I just upgraded from a HTC One X and from what i know, previously i could just flash CWM and mount usb and it'll go work normally. However, for my situation now, none of the recoveries actually allow me to mount usb.
Also, i'm on 1.29.404 and i can't find any RUUs that is the same as this. I also cant execute adb push for rom because my computer doesnt recognise my phone in adb devices. Can anyone help me out with this issue ?
cheers!
Hi
Greetings,
Install HTC drivers for abd to recognize your phone, this will help you to atempt abd sideload and also fastboot commands
Flash the recovery againg
"fastboot flash recovery name-of-recovery-.img"
And try again by adb sideload this is your last option before flashing a ruu

I'm in a similar boat, did a "format data" in TWRP and now I can't boot. I can access the phone via ADB tho. I'll let you know if I find a solution.
Same thing here
I also did the same thing. However, I can't boot into recovery at all; It says its about to boot into recovery, then the phone just turns off. The only thing I can do is boot into the bootloader, and lock or unlock it. Right now, its unlocked. I've tried everything. I would love to just use an ruu exe., but the only one I've found isn't working for my phone for whatever reason. I kept getting error 132 signature error. The ruu I was using was "RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_BrightstarUS_WWE_1.29.1540.3" I was using a similar version ( I think it was 1.29.300 or something), and yes, I relocked my bootloader before using the ruu; If anyone knows of a different, newer version, or really, anything at all that can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
Hi

Have to tried this code after installing the recovery

Hey thanks for replying; Unfourtently, even after reflashing twrp and clearing the cache, it still just shows the entering recovery mode and the restarts. In fact, now it is constantly restarting until I boot it into bootloader and power the system down that way. Any other suggestions?
Thanks

that RUU won't work because you have to match your version-main to the RUU you are about to flash, if that version-main doesn't match than you will get that error 132 which is normal in your case... if you want to know which is your version main just type
Code:
fastboot getvar version-main

Thanks; I've found the correct ruu, but now I have a new problem. As of right now its .zip and not .exe; I cant boot into recovery and adb isnt working either. Any suggestions for getting it on the phones memory, seeing as there is no sd card I can remove?
I had my phone booting the entering recovery screen for about half a sec and would always boot back into the OS so I installed TWRP through fastboot than went to factory reset in the hboot menu and it booted into recovery it worked for me but Idk if it will work for you

Have you tried "fastboot -w" this will factory reset your phone from fastboot. Then try re-flashing recovery again.

I've had this problem on the one x plus, what I did and please bear with me, it does work Firstly flash cwm and clear cache, once you have done that you should be able to boot recovery. Once in cwm format everything including data! yep I said data! then reboot back to fastboot and flash TWRP and rewipe everything again (including data) then sideload or push your rom across to your phone.
Done this twice now on mine when I got bricked (for no reason!) I can only think the file system becomes corrupt somehow.
alright guys, i solved the issue and my phone is back to normal !
to those guys still facing the issue, i suggest you flash the latest cwm then try using the sideload function > adb sideload <filename.zip>
mine came back to life after that, heh
cheers!
Also fixed
Hey guys, thanks so much for everyones help last night. I also got mine all fixed and set away. For anyone interested, I used the ruu and steps in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2250904
Thanks again to everyone for their help!
ignore every line below this. ADB should not work in bootloader, only fastboot commands. I did not know this, but hopefully this will help others that my come across this.
So here's some info to get you caught up
I have an HP Envy 17 running Windows 8 - the laptop has 4 USB 3.0 ports. In order for me to get fastboot commands working, I had to use a 'hack' to get Intel USB drivers installed over Microsoft USB drivers. I used this method: http://plugable.com/2012/12/01/windows-8-and-intel-usb-3-0-host-controllers
Performing the USB hack got fastboot commands working and I was able to successfully unlock bootloader, install recovery, and flash ARHD 12.
I now want to S-OFF and update firmware.
My dilemma is that adb commands do not work when the phone is booted into the bootloader, however, fastboot commands do!
ADB works when the phone is booted to the OS.
Does anyone have any recommendations for this situation, or have you experienced the same problem and found a solution?
That's how it's suppose to be.... Adb works while phone is booted up or in custom recovery... Fastboot works in fastboot mode
Yeah that's true. When in bootloader only the fastboot commands work

When you format them, format them to FAT32 because if you use NTFS it wont show. but you will need to unlock your bootloader check out Hansoon's AIO for the Vivid it's in the Development Thread. use that it will walk you through step-by-step then you need to chose a ROM you want and if your S-ON get the boot.img and via fastboot in cmd type fastboot flash boot boot.img whereever you have it placed at and then flash the ROM if your S-OFF then just flash the ROM in recovery if you dont know what S-OFF/ON is just flash the boot.img
Yes, I'm stupid and know better, but I just picked up a One, unlocked the bootloader, rooted and went S-off, ran the Superwipe script, but forgot to put a ROM to flash on the phone, and now I can only toggle between Recovery and bootloader. When I try to sideload a ROM in Recovery using the All-In-One, I get is "error: device not found". And when I use the command "adb devices", nothing shows up. I know I have a connection because the All in One tool does allow me to push a recovery to the phone, but I can't do much else.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Okay i got a serious problem. HTX One m7 (german phone)
First of all some facts:
HBoot Version : 1.44
Can i enter fastboot_ - yes (phone is S-ON)
Can i enter recovery? yes
Which Recovery do i have? CWM 6.0.4.6
Okay, so i accidently deleted all data on my internal storage so ofc i got no more ROM.
so far so good so i tried to push the rom over... via adb push ROM.zip /sdcard
didnt work no device found (mounted data). So i tried the sideload... didn't work as well. (both tried on windows 7 x 64)
fastboot works cuz i reflashed the recovery already.
also i get no working drivers for my windows 8.1 PC#s... i tried all the drivers on dozens of topics, none works for me.. (my win 7 pc is extremely slow so i would like to do it on my win 8 pc)
I need really advise here cuz i need my phone lol
best regards
