Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app
You didn't unlock a bootloader but you've installed custom recovery.
Use a KDZ to flash stock ROM.

thats the problem now. 3 months ago that i wanted to unlock the bootloader , i just typed : adb drivers and got them. now if u search for adb drivers u will find a million posts that say nothing, because no one searches. since 3 months ive seen at least more 20 posts about unlocking the bootloader......... anyway. go download android sdk , the 32 bit version even if u r on windows x64. install , run, update it. u will get the drivers right. after that u can easily unlock the bootloader and install team win recovery or cyanogen recovery. use the all in one toolkit of afro. thats all.
I attempted to flash the Marshmallow update via TWRP. The flash seemed to finish successfully, but upon rebooting I am stuck on the LG logo screen.
I am able to get to Download mode, but don't know what I can try from here.
I have already tried the LG Flash tool and it fails at 9%.
Any help would be appreciated.
TIA
Is there an error message at 9%? Have you tried LG Bridge or UP?

At the 9%, it says Upgrade stopped due to an error.
LG Bridge won't see the phone properly. It initially says connected but then drops the connection.
I am not familiar with UP, is that something I should try?
EDIT: LG UP Worked. Thank you very much!

Hello everyone
My brother's Mi A2 is bricked for no reason. I tried to solve this problem and searched a lot but didn't manage to solve it. I hope you can help.
* before telling my story here is some stuff to know:
- The phone was running official firmware and bootloader is locked, I've never played with it's software before.
- Oem unlocking option isn't turned on.
- The phone doesn't go to recovery mode, only fastboot or regular boot.
- I used EDL mode in every flashing attempt.
- I don't remember that there is a mi account assigned to the device.
* Here is what happened:
- The phone suddenly shut down during a call and never passed the AndroidOne logo after that.
- Tried EDL mode and miflash to flash the latest firmware. Flashing completed successfully but the phone still stuck on the androidone logo.
- Did it again and again but the result was constant.
- Tried flashing older firmware "Oreo 8.1" but during flashing system.img the process stopped with an error. (I don't remeber what the error was).
- I tried to turn on the phone but after showing AndroidOne logo This message appeared:
"Your device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and will not boot.
Visit this link on another device: g.co/ABH"
and the device shuts down in a minute.
Hint: Sometimes when I try to turn one the phone the above message appears after androidone logo and sometimes the device just keep showing the logo.
- Trying to flash any firmware version by using Miflash Beta gives an error message "Can not found programmer file" immediately. when I try again it gives: "can't read from port COM4", Changing the port gives the same error with different port number.
-When I use any other version of "Portable miflash", The flashing process starts normally but fails when trying to flash "dsp.img", giving an error of "writing time out".
- I tried reinstalling all drivers needed with no change at all.
I hope that you guys can help me solving this problem.
Thank you so much!

I did.
Bootloader is locked, so EDL mode was the only way. But now I get error writing timed out while flashing any firmware version.

Hello, I have a Razer Phone 2, yesterday I uploaded a ROM on it, everything seems to have installed after whether the phone displayed a notification "Your device is corrupt. It can’t be trusted and may not work properly." then the notification disappeared and the phone will appear on the Razer powered android logo . after pressing vol - and the phone switch, the bootloader starts but I can not do anything in it, neither recovery mode nor wipe userdata, after clicking them, it returns to the razer logo and stands I looked and tried everything but I can't do anything about it, is this the end of the phone or is there any chance to get it back?
Thank you for your help and sorry for the spelling (translator)

Installing drivers while phone is in fastboot mode too. Do checks while booted with adb devices and then boot into fastboot then run fastboot devices. If you get a device on each one, script should work. The pc sees a different device for each mode.

I think it's a hard brick, no command works, I guess I'll give up, is there any Razer service in Europe that could repair it for a fee?

Could be a Win10 2004 build issue. Some have had luck either using an older win7 machine or loading up a linux vm in win10. U can let it take control of usb ports. It all stems from usb drivers in windows.
Don't know about service in europe. Im in Texas.

I followed your advice and used a computer with windows 7 everything flashed everywhere ok, only now when the phone turns on the message pops up "your device i corrupt. It can't be trusted and may not work properly" if something went wrong ?:crying:
Edit:It was enough to use the command fastboot flashing unlock_critical and everything works as it should, thanks a lot for your help, best regards
