Hmmm i'm no expert but just wanted you to check a few things. I'm sure all the expert users here can help you much better.
Is there any damage on the LCD? Cracks?
Are you able to see anything on the display? What exactly happens when you power on your X1?
Did you try updating your software with SEUS (i.e. using volume down + power button)? Do the colour stripes appear normally during this step on your screen?
Try looking into "Xperia ROM and Guides" thread in General category of Xperia X1 if you're brave enough for disassembling and checking your phone's internals (Only in case its out of warranty). There are chances that something might have happened to your LCD flex cable stopping your phone from booting normally.
Don't worry too much. I guess it might just be software issue. It surely can be solved, hope there's no serious damage to your phone internals.
I have a Xperia Z C6602 that can't find any network at all and u can't have even emergency call. I have flashed it with orginal firmware but no change I didn't see. I have a bigger problem, Its LCD had 2-3 line on its corner that I think it was because of crash but after dissassembly I have a black screen. The phone is on and touch is working but I have no display, please help. sorry because my bad english
Hi,
I had faced a similar problem on my 6602.
Tried everything but the phone just couldnt find the network.
Finally I had to take it to the service center and because the phone was under warranty, they replaced it.
According to them, it is some kind of hardware problem.
Hello and happy new year everyone,
I've just finished replacing the lcd screen of my gf's xperia z, everything worked well, except for the touchscreen. The display is on and I can see everything, but the display doesn't react to touch.
Should I open it again to see if I didn't plug anything or is the display just not working? What should I do? Please help!
Thanks in Advance

Did you solve this problem? I have exactly the same problem after Touch&LCD screen replacement and I need help?
It is not unusual that screen replacements are faulty. After getting burned myself I always check the functionality of the replacement part before installation. It is actually quite easy to simply plug in the new assembly for a test with only the back cover removed from the faulty handset.
That way a non-functioning replacement can be returned in exchange for a new one.
In your specific case you should definitely disassemble again and replug all connections. And test results before fixing the battery cover of course.
Hey guys.
I bought a used Xperia Z today.
The seller changed the screen and the battery, and the phone was pretty much cheap(130$).
But now,I have a issue with the LCD.
The exact same one this video shows:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoAF3Ry-CsM
Now,I dont know if it is software related(highly unlikely) or a hardware issue, but could it be that the seller connected the screen improperly?
The back cover glue is bad,so I can check it out,and I will, after the phone recharges.
My thoughts are that I have to get a new screen. Am I correct?
I will wait for the phone to recharge, and then I will try upgrading it to Lollipop with FlashTool, and if that wont work,I will open the phone and look for the issue.
Hello, did you fin a solution for the problem ? I have the same issue.
First sorry for my bad english and any mistakes.
So since last month i experience very annoying issue, It's like blackscreen but screen backlight is on.
Important thing: that screen response for touch durung that "blackscreen"
It happens randomly during the day and stays for 1-3min. then everything go back to normal.
Maybe someone know what could cause this? I dont think its software becouse i have 4.4.4 t-mobile brand with root only.
Maybe is problem with connection between screen - motherboard and there is a way to fix it? Or mabye something is broken and need to replace digitizer? Or maybe something with motherboard is wrong?

I'm not sure but it could be a dying battery symptom... How old is your battery ?
Before trying to see motherboard problems, try another battery, a younger one
Battery works fine it hold the whole day.

I've googled a bit, I've found the following link that could be interesting for you. Although it's about Galaxy Note 3, this kind of issue may be something common to every devices.

If it doesn't help, you should try another battery even if yours holds the whole day.
Also try to install again the official firmware with odin and full wipe. It worths a try...
I googled my problem but nothing found. I try to reflash firmware and see what happens
