[Q] Leedroid Tweak... flash on stock ics rom?

me again, and another noob question.
I been going through a few threads and I keep seeing this Leedroid Tweaks thinngy being mentioned. I accidentally came across a video with it running on a vivid, and omg instant eyegasm. But I have noticed that it was on a custom Rom.
So noob me is wondering if Leedroid Tweaks can be flashed on to my phone:
Stock at&t ics ruu, rooted, bootloader unlocked, wcx recovery, s-on.
If it is possible, please state how do I go I about doing it ( if not just pass me a roll of tissue to wipe away my tears).
thanks in advance.
hello...
('~')
Honestly I"m not sure. I wish I could help you more, but I'm using it on a custom rom, Holics to be exact.

Same here. I could be wrong but I think you have to have a custom rom.
I know it at least has to be deodexed...
Also... Some tweaks require other modded apks... Like the rosie...
Just use one of the sense based custom roms...

I hate this part ... Choosing a Rom (& kernel)...
the worst part is that; the only internet that I have now is the wifi on the phone, so I if I run a flash and it fails I'm in trouble even of the Rom flashes ok but the no WiFi issue ( which some ppl have had)....I'm still doomed... , wudnt even be able to relock the bootloader.
{Scratching head} ...[darn u no cm9 for vivid]... God which Rom to get now..., I don't even know which kernel to begin with....

so your first(and prob best bet for stock) is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1583028 [STOCK ROM] AT&T ICS, de-odexed, zip-aligned, rooted, bloated (For chefs or whoever)
and then since its De-Odexed you can flash http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1555539 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1559153 for a better power menu and a EQS
also since your S-On you MUST always remember to flash your kernal via bootloader with fastboot http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=20898807

K... I'm learning
Thanks.
(I always wondered what APM meant,)...
So...
1) Flash to the stock deoxed Rom... Or should I flash the kernel first ?
2) when flashing the kernel can I use hasoon all in one tool kit to flash ?
3) which kernel do you suggest for my specific case... Since one was not suggested... (Wondering about holic since its already apart of the hasnoon all in one tool ?)
4) sight... I see the APM link (thanks again)... How ( if possible) do I get Leedroid tweaks ?
....thanks for putting up with my noobossity ( or is it noobaceousness).

Edit.
just saw the link for the custom EQS, :
What does eqs mean and from what I gather it basically will negate the need for Leedroid ?
Eqs is extended quick settings and to get leedroid tweaks to work you need to port it over to the Rom you are going to use or install a Rom that already has it or something similar like wcx illuminate ,dark raider or holics that are based on stock vivid roms. elegancia is a port from the sensation and it has leedroid tweaks

honestly enless your gonna S-Off which you should do alot of looking up because it can really **** your device if done wrong you just pull the Stock boot.img from the stock att rom i linked to and flash that. you go into bootloader by pulling battery, put in back in and hold vol down and power till you get the bootloader then use the fastboot tool i linked to and install the kernal then after you do that your bootloader has an option to boot into recovery you pick that flash the stock att ics rom i included and go on your merry way.
the big problem is alot of the more advance kernals (holics, faux, or even kangbanged) you need S-Off to flash them or you need to do alot of reading to flash them so stock kernal is usually your best bet
BIGEDIT: or as the pervious post said download and try out Holics(my personal DD) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1585373 or try ELEGANCIA http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1797035 THO Holics is more like stock ATT ICS
You don't need s off for most kernels you just can't flash them through recovery. I'm s on and I switched kernels all the time.

So I'm taking mine back to the stock AT&T dedoxed rooted rom. I'm going to make a few tweaks and call it a day. I was wondering about the dialer. I'm killing off visual voicemail when I debloat it, and I hate that stupid button on the dialer. Is their a stock holiday dialer I could use that wouldn't have that wretched button? What about the Holics dialer, would it work?

Flashable firmware?

I had this on my old Galaxy Nexus and was wondering if anyone could do it here or if it is even possible. I don't have access to a PC atm, nor will I the following week or so, and I want to be "compatible"with the new 4.3 Roms I am using so a flashable zip of the new fw would be absolutely splendid.

JB Kernel and KK bootloader??

Okay, I am trying to make sense of this....I downloaded Validus 6.0 ROM the other day with the KK bootloader and it didn't work. So I tried another ROM and got it to work...used it for 24 hours and did a NANDroid backup and tried Validus 6.0 with JB bootloader. The one with the JB Bootloader worked....but yet, its still Android 4.4.4 KitKat....So obviously, I have the JB Bootloader. Is this what is keeping me from using alot of ROMS? IF so, how would I upgrade to the KK Bootloader for my Atrix HD?
EDIT: That was supposed to say JB bootloader and KK bootloader.....my mistake

Until the OFFICIAL version of KitKat is released by Motorola for the Atrix HD, then your phone will always have the JB Bootloader. It is part of your phone and is not changed when you flash a Custom ROM, and you can't upgrade it on your own. Others have tried.
That being said, there are still some ROMs that you can flash to your phone, but only if the ROM developer/maintainer has built it specifically for use on a phone with a JB bootloader.
Personally, I'm using a branch of CyanogenMod built for JB phones like ours: https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=moto_msm8960_jbbl
So if you're just looking for any custom ROM, I'd give that a shot. It's probably the most stable, but lacks some of the advanced features of the other ROMs.
Hope that helped.
p.s. The reason it's so complicated was that on 7/1 is when the CM team decided to (temporarily) abandon the JB bootloader folks on our family of devices. Some other devs stepped up and started to maintain it, until the official version is released. Many ROMs are based on that "unified" base, so everything got messy after that date.
this answered my question in the other section. thanks.

I have unlocked my bootloader, installed CWM, but when I try to install the version of CM 11 that you linked above it returns an error status 7 message. Is there something I'm missing here, because as far as I can tell I've followed all the correct steps so far.

Try installing Philz recovery, version 6.43.8 (and nothing later than that). https://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition/moto_msm8960/

You were right, it was the recovery. Once I got cwm touch on there it installed no problem.

Change from password to PIN screen unlock after full ecryption
I have krypton 1.4 on my moto x and yesterday I succesfully encrypted it using a strong password, but now I find that it is really a pain in the a.. to input that password everytime I need to unlock. So I'm wondering if it is posible to change the unlock method from password to PIN without messing the phone or loosing information.
Also, is it still posible to upgrade ROM after full encryption?
Thanks
about management of the radio
I wanted to know if this rom is there any change in the management of the radio than the stock Motorola
IN my moto x xt1052 sometimes during the handover signal drops to zero, and often the device is very lazy to change from 2G to 3G
thanks

G+ Community
Hi!
Do you have a G+ Community for this ROM?
Regards,
Luis
Is anyone using this ROM with Tapatalk notifications working?
I've tried using it but none of the Tapatalk active display notifications work. Every other notification works fine with active display though.
Then when I SBF back to stock Tapatalk notifications work fine. I've tried going back and forth between both several times. Stock always work and Krypton never does.
Any ideas? I'd love to use this.
in other custom rom there is a nice settings Power Battery, is it possible to install on this rom?

I believe this ROM is prefect mixed with xposed and doesn't need anything just my opinion. It's my daily for a long long time. I've been toying with LP just for fun and I'm sure once official drops krypton will work his magic on 5.0

Cm themer needs a rom based on CM. Possibly other aosp roms can add it.... But this is based on stock moto firmware, it won't work.
Google now isn't working for me after a fresh installation. Restored backup of stock ROM and it worked again.
For some reason the phone radio is terrible on this ROM so sad had to go back to stock..... XT1052
downgrade?
I currently have a Verizon xt1060 running Safestrap with Krypton 1.4.1 (4.4.4) installed. I want to drop back to a version that allows sunshine usage. Can I just restore my original backup of the original firmware that I made in the very beginning?
Thanks!

If you're talking about a nandroid then yes you can flash back to that but it won't affect your ability to use sunshine. You would have to get back to older firmware which would likely brick your phone if you tried. Search for "downgrade brick" and you'll see. You just will have to wait for sunshine 3.0 and don't take a lollipop ota should it come out before sunshine.

I believe my nandroid is 4.4.2 or 4.4.3. So, it will be compatible with Sunshine. I did use the tool to update the kernel though, per the optional instructions in the krypton thread. Will those revert when i nandroid in the safestrap bootloader? Do I just restore as normal into the stock ROM slot or will a basic hard reset do it since it is the bootstrap recovery not a normal custom recovery? Again for reference, this is a Verizon xt1060 nondev, currently locked boatloader.

So I don't know much of anything about safestrap and whether an older (4.4.3 or less) primary rom will still allow you to use sunshine. Take my advice with a grain of salt but I think the best answer is still to just wait for sunshine 3.0 and get a real unlocked bootloader.
Best stock KitKat rom for the Moto X can't wait for the Lollipop build.

+1 . I was wondering the same. Maybe a dumb question but did you flash magisk afterwards? A was talking to an ex dev from another device i have but he got ... well he said "eww" when he saw the zip containing those files. (i might go ahead and say that he probably saw a complete and unnecessary mess created by motorola LOL! )
