FAQ
I cannot see the date, clock, battery and signal percentage! Why?
Thats a little blemish coming from the ported status bar tweaks.
This happens because the default status bar is black, either the textcolor of these items.
You need to change the text color in "System settings -> CyanogenMod settings -> Interface -> Status bar tweaks -> Text Color" one time, then its fine.
My phone doesn't wake up after charging over night! WTF?
Enable "Stay Awake" in "System settings -> Application -> Development", this will prevent the "Charging SOD (screen of death)"
Don't be afraid to lock the screen manually when charging anyways. the enabled function is enough to prevent. There is no need to really keep the screen on while charging.

WARNING: I am totally NOT a professional kernel developer! I am just trying to learn with this. - Smashing code together and sharing my results. Do not use this if you wan't anything stable. Even if my kernel builds seem to run stable it doesn't mean that everything is cool with it.
As you know i am a total fan of ironkrnl, but im a bit pissed that it doesnt get updates, and i also wan't the new stuff like ksm and google snappy compression, so i started smashing this together This completely replaces the old BangMod-pack.

-cam -- Enable installation of modded stock cam by kostja
-cron -- Disable installation of cron job for automatic cache dropping (a cron job on linux is an executed command on defined times. this one will clear the vm cache every 3,5 hours. keeps ram clean even if you don't restart for weeks.)
-dens -- Enable low density tweaking (210) for higher screen resolution.
-ffc -- Force fast charging. (Removes ability to transfer files)
-font -- Disable installation of roboto font
-fsync -- Disable fsync. (WARNING: disabling fsync may cause data loss! read more about what fsnc is here)
-fsc -- Force slow charging.
-gapps -- Disable installation of google apps
-jrnl -- Enable ext4 journal removal and 'risky' mount options (not recommended)
-keep -- Disable deletion of unnecessary CM apps (that means CMStats, CMUpdateNotify, LiveWallapapers, LiveWallapapersPicker, LiveWallapapersPicker, MagicSmokeWallpapers, VisualizationWallpapers, Protips)
-ksm -- Disable activation of kernel samepage merging
-log -- Enable log removal on boot
-nitz -- Install nitz fix for su660 basebands (will get removed if not set)
-prop -- Disable tweaking of build.prop
-sql -- Disable installation of tweaked sqlite.so
-uv -- Enable slight undervolt
EXAMPLE
The default filename is
"Skynet64_201205271152-bravia-cam-log-uv.zip"
which completely fits the settings of the old BangMod-pack. Just leave it how it is, if you trust and want my personal selection.
If you wanna change anything, this is an example to have a clean kernel-image-only installation without any tweaks/mods:
"Skynet0_201205271152-anim-basic-cron-font-gapps-keep-prop-sql.zip"
Change the flags/ramhack-number however you want your install, with the values descripted above.

hmm i wouldnt say "better" or "not better" its just that i always used ironkrnL since i have the p990 and i am absolutely happy with it. There was no reason for me to test any other one yet.
It is totally stable for me, so i recommend it.

The current CM10 builds, although alpha, are fairly stable. Aside from possible GPS issue and standard 911 disclaimer.

As you can see there are a LOT of changes and improvements.
There are common bugs (CM10 and CM9) like GPS failure and 911 calls.
If you want, you can test this ROM, check the stability and see if you like it. It is NOT the best shoot to take CM10 as you daily ROM until this bugs are corrected.
In addition to these errors, you should be flashing every time because there are more changes between versions. In the OP you can see the proofs.

Very important changes in this garrit.
If you can, update your ROM.

No, it is not the one from yesterday. I rebuilt with right lunch command so you get everything that Rascarlo puts in.
Also the camera photosphere looks like will not work, so if that is really important to ya you will need to flash a patched one. I will add in next build

Installation-AROMA version:
1- Full wipe is recommended: factory reset, wipe cahce, wipe dalvik, format system and preload.
2- Flash the ROM and follow AROMA instructions.
3- Strongly suggest to not choose a third party launcher, go with default stock launcher, smoother and better for performance.
4- Reboot.
5- Download and Flash GAPPs.<Not Needed for V1.3 unless you want to flash GAPPs of your choice other than the one included>
6- Reboot.
7- Look up at the best kernel and try it.​

Some tips to save battery life:
1) Disable auto sync for accounts if you don't need them. Syncing kills!!
2) Disable GPS and enable it only when you want to use it.
3) Disable auto backup for Gmail account.
4) Set brightness level to automatic.
5) Disable motion if you don't use it from developer options in settings.
6) Check your apps settings and disable useless background sync
7) Use UV (under-volted) kernel. Undervolted means that your device will use relatively less battery to give the same CPU frequency
8) Try out different CPU Governor

FAQ and Know issues:
when probam in black turn on , the systemui make force close
try to switch off black ui then restart and try enable it again
after dirty flash the device hangs and systemui make force close
you need to make wipe all and clean cache and make fresh install in this case
when try video recoding the device freeze or slow down
screen video record with ondemand or pegasusq governors u will have a laggy recorded video. If you try with performance governor from performance in settings , then the video will be a lot smoother.
Camera crashing some times and not works anymore "camera not connected"
the rom included an small application "camera restart" you can use it for fix this issue
titanium recovery not restore my applications
For those who cannot find their previous files, because CM based rom will target the sdcard storage to use root/0/ directory.
So normally all the files besides the root/0/ directory will not be shown on the file explorer.
To solve this, you will need a file browser that has ROOT capability, eg. Root Explorer
then go to mnt/shell/emulated/ all your file should be here.
Now move all the files into mnt/shell/emulated/0/ folder.
Should solve the problem.
Privacy guard IS working?
after enabling privacy guard in security settings
you have to switch to settings>apps and then choose to enable or disable each app individually.
I'm sure nobody would want to tick every single app, that would almost be the same as enabling airplane mode.

Battery drain Issue
I recently flashed this rom. In terms of speed it was very snappy and fast:good:
But the BATTERY Drain was very fast my phone would last only 8 hours when on other Roms with same usage it would last 14 hours approx.

SMS bug !!!
I instaaled this rom its great in terms of speed and battery performance not bad at all but i get this strange issue in sms !! messeges i recieve show in conversations normally but the ones i send are shown as big blank space next to my contact pic > tried data wipe ,cache and dalvik but didnt help
can hear your opinion what would help me please ????

Use another sms app .. Download it from play store like 8sms ,qksms,elove sms try it

Go to Settings -> Interface -> Status Bar.
Uncheck the Double-tap to sleep option. (Y)

Hi, is it possible go incorporate CHN stock rom touchscreen driver in to the rom? The screen jittering is killing me. Thanks a lot ya

of course you have to own the device
so some experience in android building is a must , and time to do this

Not sure why go keyboard force stops sometimes .Not sure if the problem lies with the rom or the app itself. The boot animation is not the correct size.

Is there setting to change led light trigger area?? I would like to change only when touching softkeys.
Edit: is there a way to change by modifying any system files or build.prop?? Please help
