Hey guys, i've unlock my bootloader and successfully rooted with stock firmware, but now i've just installed slimbean and needs to gain root again to change the dpi settings. Tried sideloading superuser.zip with adb but get nothing. Also i can't seem to check my bootloader status through the usual key combos. Any help?

Do you have unlocked bootloader? If so, from the bootloader do this (assuming you have android SDK and the mfastboot binary downloaded):
mfastboot flash recovery twrp-2.6.3.1-ghost-4.4.img
get twrp from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/development/recovery-unlocked-twrp-2-6-3-1-android-t2534850
Now boot into recovery. From the bootloader screen, just volume down to highlight "recovery" and press VOL UP to select/open it.
Now you should be booted into TWRP. When you EXIT TWRP, it will ask if you would like to install SuperSU Installer. Select YES!
Reboot into android. You will find "SuperSU Installer" in your app drawer.
Run it. It will give you a couple options. Choose "PLAY STORE" option.
Now you are rooted, with custom recovery & SuperSU!
(NONE of this is possible without unlocked bootloader)
If you bought your phone from att or Verizon then you're out of luck. All known exploits have been patched

Yes, unlocked bootloader. I've done the process. The recovery is fully installed, but when I enter in it, I recieve a message ("Nenhum comando" - no command).
Tried with twrp 2.6.x.x (yours) and 2.7. Same message (with the downloading android robot).
EDIT: done with this.

I just bought my nexus 6 and only have a pc to use for one day and wanted to know the best, safe way to root this phone. It's a Google play edition.

Realy dude? Tons of threads of how to root with 6.0.1.
Anyway here are the basics:
- Enable oem unlocking and usb debugging in developer options
- Unlock the bootloader: Boot into fastboot and in cmd type: fastboot oem unlock (will wipe your phone so backup first!), reboot
- Flash or boot into TWRP, do NOT modify system if TWRP asks you to.
- Flash the latest systemless superSU.2.67 root zip from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/wip-android-6-0-marshmellow-t3219344, TWRP will ask you to root, ignore that!
- Reboot and install BusyBox from Play
- Done.
Don't i have to install the files for the computer and all that for the drivers and download such stuff?

Yes, you have to install the sdk platform-tools in order to do this. Look here for a fast and easy way http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979.

You can unroot from within the superSU app or flash the UPDATE-unSU.zip in recovery and reroot. Next version of TWRP will probably be compatible with systemless root.

Leave it as it is if you have no issues, but both methods used at the same time on the same phone can cause problems with root and permissions.

Hey guys I tried to root my HTC One Mini 2 using Kingoroot which says it succeeded, however the superuser kingo installed does not open, in fact it just pops up an error saying: "com.kingo..." has stopped working. I tried to restart the device and re root it but it still pops up the same error message when attempting to open superuser, anyone know what is the problem here?

Then instead of using Kingroot, try flashing the SuperSU zip through a custom recovery.
I did not find the need to use SuperSU when rooting the One Mini 2, just unlocked the bootloader, flashed custom recovery and then flashed the ROM.
Works super fine..

TWRP V2.8.5.0 worked for me.
Unlocking bootloader will DELETE ALL DATA, you can follow the steps to unlock bootloader here : http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader
Download file and run as Administrator (Windows) https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_1zjuazXSqbQ0p6NWtvRk9OMzA/edit?pli=1
Enter Bootloader>Fastboot and with the device connected run the below command
Code:
fastboot flash recovery name_of_recovery.img (place TWRP in the same folder as the ADB downloaded file, usually C:\ADB\)
fastboot erase cache

If you have cm13 installed you have bootloader unlocked and recovery installed (twrp recovery i Guess). If you want superuser options Turn on "developer options" in "about phone" (Google it) and Turn it on. If you want To flash SuperSU go To xda forum about SuperSU and search there..
Everything you do with the device, you do at your own peril and risk.
An unlocked bootloader is required, and the factory unlock is enabled.
1. Install TWRP
2. Install SuperRoot_noverity_nocrypt.zip through TWRP
3. Boot the system.
4. You need to install the APK from PlayStore afterwards https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.phh.superuser
Now you have root access and full access to the system partitions.
Enjoy Root
If an error "Error 1" is output with the firmware in TWRP. It is necessary to replace BOOT.img, on BOOT.img, from the firmware that you installed before obtaining root access.
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img

And where to copy root .zip file? When I press Install, I can't seem to see the file, because it's not there and all the normal files except folders seem to be encrypted.. I pasted it in the main view. Where can I find it?

No SuperSU can not get root access on the Huawei P10.
I've tried many ways. Got only a recovery device.
If you disable SELinux, for example, through SELinuxModeChanger. We have full access without SuperSU.
Sorry I'm an old iOS user.
What do you mine by this step : "Download the device."
I checked with "Root checker" I'm now rooted, but I did'nt use these file : "Boot_VTR-L29C10B120 and

They are needed to correct mistakes. If you get root access, then you do not need them.
Ok thanks for reply, now I'm rooted, no need custom ROM ? Sombody know the best way to transfert data from iOS to android (sms...)

EDIT:
Unlocked filesystem is working for me now. I tested it with AdAway - the Hosts file stays after reboot.

Install your VTR-L09C432B113 boot.img, then again get the final access using SuperRoot_noverity_nocrypt.zip.
P.S. VTR-L09C432B123 = VTR-L09C432B113 - Bootloaders are the same.
It worked! Thank you. I'm a newby, and managed to do this. If there is any questions - feel free to ask!
