[Q] Q: A piece of metal stuck between screen and body?

So I just got the IS before the weekend and Ive been setting it up and playing with it ever since.
Now, what I've noticed, is a small piece of silver metal stuck between the screen and the phone body. Its on the left side approx in the middle of the screen. I though it was a scratch, but I can clearly se the plastic sandwitched between the glass and the body bein bent. So,does anybody else have this? Is it part of the phone, some sensor or touch adapter/device? I dont really think so but just thought I'd check wi you guys.
Definitely a production fault.
Could you keep us posted on the repair, or replacement please?
I'm quite interested as I have a faulty touchscreen, and I'm wondering how long it will take for a repair.

[Q] Broken screen

Hi everyone, I just droped my incredible s and the screen broke. Now I planning to buy a lcd screen on ebay and repair it my self but I need to know what to buy. The phone is still fully fonctionnal it's just the screen that's cracked. So my question is do I need to buy the screen digitizer only or the lcd to?
Thanks!
[Edit]
Got the screen digitizer today, and I just finished to put it all together... phone looks like new!! And it wasnt too hard to do

I simply followed that video but I only changed the touch digitizer, not the lcd.
The only issue is the new screen isnt glued well to the phone. I did put some two sided tape but the corners are a bit "loose" like I can push the screen back. So I'll try to find some sealant glue or something like that to glue the screen well in place.
If anyone knows a glue or a sealant let me know

[Q] Damaged frame around the display

HI,
I have an Xperia T.
Unfortunately my shiny frame around the display is damaged. It's possible to buy and replace only this frame on the phone? Without the back cover, and the whole front side? I didn't find any.
Thanks
I think replacing one would be really hard as the screen is probably glued to this frame

[Q] My ZR screen is scratched

hi all
my two weeks old ZR had its screen scratched , right in the middle of it , it is very horrible..,yet the screen works perfectly even on the scathed area.(its dose not look like a scar , but rather a tiny patch of light scratches).
the question here , is how much it costs to get a new screen, and do i have to change to whole screen or only some sort of an exterior layer of it.
thanks....
It's anti shattering layer that scratch no need to replace screen.ask if one can be brought from local Sony dealer.next time put a third party screen guard over it ,

wow....thanks for the input..
the real problem is that the worn patch is right in the middle of the screen , so it catches your eyes instantly.specially if you have white or blank background ..
but can i know the approximate price of the anti-shatter layer

How to replace metal frame around screen

Does anyone know how to replace metal frame around screen in RAZR I ? My phone after more than a year of use looks great beside this metal frame, so I've thought that I can replace it with new one. I even bought new metal frame, it came with a screwdriver - but after I've disassembled phone I've found out that screen is somehow "blended" with frame.
So my question is - does anyone know to replace this metal frame, or maybe anyone done that ?

I don't know if i am right, but i remember something that the screen/display and the frame got a solid connection...
U have to look at display replacement tutorials. there you can see if the frame is a single part or not...
