While most Android devices are still waiting on the update to*Android 4.4.2 KitKat, Google is apparently testing 4.4.3 already, under the build number KTU72B. This information comes courtesy of renowned developer LlabTooFeR, but there is no further info on what new features the update is likely to bring.
One of the bug fixes gets mentioned, though - LlabTooFeR writes that "probably it will fix known camera bug." Said issue could very well refer to the problem in*Nexus 5*handset. Users observed a pretty significant increase*in CPU usage when the camera application is operational, which puts unwarranted stress on the system, and its battery endurance.*Google quickly promised a fix for the Nexus 5 camera bug, allegedly coming with the next Android update, so that could be it.*
There are no details yet on eventual extra enhancements and fixes that the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update will bring to devices in general. Perhaps we will know as soon as the next few weeks, as we doubt Google will wait for the*I/O conference in June*to release a fix for the camera issue in Nexus 5.

I hope they fix the Exchange Server always syncing bug
Oh snap, it means I have to revert my phone back to 4.4.2 stock again. So soon after the 4.4.2 update, too. At the very least I hope it's a worthy update.
hopefully there will be HDR+ camera for Nexus 4 like Nexus 5. ART optimization will be wonderful thing (also for me myself).

U83 is march 24th (if I counted correctly)
Like the fingerprint states: 4.4.3 is definitely a thing in testing.
What it doesnt say is when/who will get it.
Fingerprints on chromium are concrete evidence that something does definitely exist, but not that we'll actually get it.
(chromium devs get access to builds that never get released)

Going a bit off topic !! Do you still have access to the .tot files from lg b2b servers since they updated their security ?? I think no one has updated the .tot files for mako or hammerhead after initial 4.4 ( I guess no .tot leaked for 4.4 mako at all )
I do not have files, only filenames.
I can tell you that mako has simply not received any new ones since 4.3 and I would not be surprised if it doesn't receive any more.
The thread is currently up to date with the known public ones for hammerhead, excepting that we do not have every variation of the latest one (KOT49H) (16/32gb D820/821)

The upcoming release of the Android camera app will feature refreshed user interface. Today’s increasingly popular background-blurring, portrait-friendly effect will be on board too, joined by improved panorama and Photo Sphere modes.

Wow they adressed like 40 bug reports out of the 22000 they have on the pubilc bug tracker alone.
And in Android 4.5 they add fancy features for marketing adding 500 new bugs!

Looking forward to trying this out.

I wonder if the FCC compliance fix is to kill LTE in the N4 again.

Google has other things to do than to focus on a pesky issue. Only a small number of users who know how or willing to tweak their system just to gain LTE.
I hope we'll get some further development of ART!
4.4.3 are just bug fixes for Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013). source: http://www.phonearena.com/news/Andr...to-a-Nexus-5-or-Nexus-7-2013-near-you_id54536
But knowing our devs, it'll probably take less than a week after the code release before all our custom ROMs will be updated using the latest source.
We should be more excited for 4.5 somewhere in June-July along with the Nexus 8.

If we look at the releases order, nexus 7 2012 should be the nexus that loses the support first. But they should increase the time, just look at S2 how many updates has got and it';s not a nexus.
Hope it does come to the N4, as I'm having major BT issues at the moment. Surely the 18months should start at end of production as well?
So no fix for headset microphone volume issues? I know they may ignore us, but considering Nexus 5 having the very same issue, it seems a little bit strange...
I was just stating that it would probably be the excuse from Google. I sure as hell hope our phone will get the update as well. Mine is not even a year old, still got 6months warranty

Last time they made some excuse regarding Ti/OMAP processor. This time being a snapdragon thats also used in Nexus 7, I don't see any reason for non release of update. We should all in fact assume we will get the official update. Google need to look at Apple's support of old devices like iPhone 4 and get a damn clue.

Yeah, they should gimp the update, not include new features, and make the phone laggy. That's totally what Google should do.
No thanks. I'd rather get no update(or just get unofficial updates via ROMs) than get an official update that bogs the phone down.

Yeah, now the difference it's just a higher frequencies to make a equality between the higher resolutions and a little bit faster memory. We should definetly lose the support at the same time with nexus 7 2013 which has the same processor on a higher resolution which means worse performance in games especially. They have no excuse now ....

That is a clocked down Snapdragon 600. I suspected the 18 months period might have been the reason to go with this one internally instead of the S4 Pro.
Worst case is still that they keep the ancient linux because Qualcomm's mess is so huge they don't have a chance to support a newer kernel. But it might happen because the S4 Pro is in so many devices.
Hi to all members
I've read some users writing that they've got a new update, on the CH Generic if I'm not wrong. It allegedly fixes the lag and performance issues in the Kitkat update even though the build number remains the same. Anyone else got that update? I returned to 4.3 after having a couple of problems like performance issues, also the phone got quite hot after a while, but would love to return to 4.4 if this update will fix the above mentioned problems. Hope to hear if any of the members got the update and is it better optimized than the first 4.4 version. Greetings

Anyone receive the mysterious ota that sprint was supposed to roll out a few weeks back?
Disappointed that LG went from no lollipop updates, to weekly updates(after stage fright) back to no real updates until M.
I had a notification to install the OTA last night
Just saw the change log. Not too much. It seems to be more of a 3rd party app update and potentially locking the camera down more for rooting. I'll know more when it reaches us.
Still bothered that all the other big players have 5.1.1 and stage fright fixes, while LG has opted to once again go with a new version of Android instead of going with a more reliable patched version. I'm happy we will see M, but probably never any major updates to it.
Oh is there any more information available regarding LG or Sprint plans to update the LG G4 to Android M, or at least where could I read more about this?
There are quite a few but here is the gist, http://www.techtimes.com/articles/6...droid-5-1-1-lollipop-update-for-android-m.htm

The way LG does things we usually don't see the .x updates. For example 5.1 to 5.1.1. But they still roll the fixes within the version. So the fixes promised by Google in 5.1.1 are present in the ZV6 update:
Memory leak ✔
Play services & Location batt drain ✔
Security fixes ✔
Performance lag free ✔

Hi, guy. Did anyone updated to Nougat? How does it work? Are the any critical bugs? Does all apps work well?
Of course there are bugs because it's a beta.I have been using it since it was released and I love Android N.

I asked only about critical bugs, I know few minor bugs, like duplicates of icons in status bar.

The final version of N hasn't been released for the Nexus 6 yet but I've been running DP5 as my daily driver since it was released and I haven't found any major issues. I haven't even had the duplicate icon issue you mentioned. I only have one app that crashes on the developer preview but the app developer has indicated he is aware of the issue and is working on fixing it. Overall, my experience with N (the developer preview) has been very positive and I expect that to continue with the release version when it comes out.

I concur with this guy. As long as there is no major changes from DP5 to full release this source is very stable. Hopefully a new radio to rule them all lol
I did not enroll my N6 until I had been running DP5 on my other devices with no ill effects. I downloaded DP5 on 8/10 and even though my other devices updated to Android 7.0 on 8/22 I I'm still waiting for the N6 to update.
I am having zero problems with DP5 on my N6.
Mine is running like a champ, no issues or force closes here...
I wonder if the official 7.0 will have the color changes as well. Cause on DP5...I do not see it in the tuner. I do like the DPI changes. I may not root for Android N
