How know IMEI ???
I`m try *#06# but not sow IMEI, only HEX and DEC....
Need unlock phone, but don`t know IMEI
First of all, this forum is for the original droid/milestone. The one for your phone is over HERE.
Btw, you can find the IMEI in the Settings/About phone/Status menu or if your phone's battery is removable then under the battery and on the box of your phone.

Change sim card, turn on device while holding volume down key, do a factory reset, flash a baseband which also does a factory reset.

it seems that the carrier locked it by imei... probably the phone was stolen from someone and the person "participate?!" it to the carrier / police...
solution? bring it to someone with an box and change the imei or clean it. i heard about some android phones when flashing some cooked rom they lost the imei but i dont know if that happend with p990..
Yeap... unintended change of imei does happen specifically when using CM roms, there is even a tutorial somewhere in the forum here on how to restore your original imei for o2x. So instead of restoring to original imei...you can use same technique to change the imei. Use the search function.
Hi guys, please help me, i have my LG OB that i updated yesterday to android v.4.0.4, but after successful update i didn't have network, i then went to about phone and found that my imei and baseband was gone i then reverted back to android v.2.3.4 but i just got my baseband back but my imei still shows unknown. I tried to use Putty to write the printed imei under the battery but here comes problems, this imei is of LG G5300 and it is already written on device because when i connect it to lg support tool, it shows that my device is LG G5300, i an stuck here, is there anyway i can read the original imei from device itself? Any folder that store original imei maybe? My device is rooted so i can access system files and folders. Please help me

I have bought a Galaxy S3 LTE with a broken IMEI Number. In Settings -> Phone Info -> Status the IMEI is 0. After a long search I have found an instruction how to restore the IMEI. I downloaded SGS3 IMEI Nvitem Generator and NV-items_reader_writer. I generate my IMEI and saved it as a *.txt file. Now i started NV-items_reader_writer and got following error message:
"Failed... phone does not answer"
I don't know if this program support the LTE version or I chose the wrong COM port. Where can I see on which port the phone is connected? I also have always a transparent black box with some yellow information on the screen.

Now I have written the new IMEI to my phone. I can also see it in settings. But the serial number changed to 00000000000. Any solutions?

My phone was stolen last night and I need my IMEI, I cannot find my original box and I need IMEI asap to bring it to police.
I have found my efs backup but I dont know how to read IMEI from it. Any solutions?
I managed to recover my IMEI from my operator. Thread to close.
I changed my imei number using IMEI changer ( xposed). after applying and rebooting imei of both the slim slots become same. I have backuped both imei number before changing. please help me for chaging imei of second sim slot.

thanks for reply . i tried that but qxdm software doesn't recognize my phone. I have tried all thing . is there any other method is there for qualcomm. I get only the mediatek solution in google.
