God!! :crying: what I can do next? What did u do when u bricked ur BL?
It is with ma friend now,who is a technician..He told that the BL is corrupted or something..A software repair with some tool (he said) may solve the issue..And after trying that and if bad luck, hardware damages are to be checked..
I'll report soon.. hoping the best..
Thanks 4 the reply anyway.. :good:

Having no ROM installed (i.e. via Task29) does not mean the vol key method won't work. It should work - remove battery, replace battery, hold power and vol key together for a few seconds. The only reason it wouldn't is if there was something physically wrong with the key.

What do you get when you just turn on your phone? You can always turn on your phone, if you have a ROM flashed it will boot the ROM. If not or not properly flashed then it will take you to the bootloader....

lol.. your barking at the wrong tree man.. read & understand
don't know if this is related but i thought i'd post it still.
i had an issue with task29 once i tried it.
usually, i flash roms using activesync since i'm kinda lazy putting back and fort the x1 cover, battery and all that.
after flashing task29, my x1 went dead. what i did, i removed the sd card,
plugged it to my pc and put the kovsimg file of the rom i like best,
plugged back in the sd card with the kovsimg file and re-flash via sd card method (using soft keys & volume button).
viola! it worked! but then again, i guess that's the way it's suppose to be done anyways.

Ever did a bad flash???? Try it....flash from your pc and pull the USB cable. If you reset your phone where does it take you? Certainly not to boot the ROM, because the flash went wrong.
Well.....
As the OP doesn't tell us specific details about why or how his X1 has no ROM, I'm trying to get some more info on his problem.
So keep your rude words in your mouth before you speak...!
Since when does trying to help someone wastes your time???! Dude you really need to utter your frustrations somewhere else.

Hello! I had this problem a minute ago. Try this:
1 -Turn on the phone. The screen will freeze in Sony Ericsson logo.
2 - After this, hold the two silver front buttons and press the softreset button behind the battery cover (to do a Hard Reset).
3 - Follow the instructions to perform the Hard Reset.
4 - When finished, remove the battery. Wait for 3 seconds and put the battery back.
5 - Now try to hold Vol Down key and turn the phone on.
It worked for me. But OMG, this thing scared me...

Phone Stuck: Weird Problem

Hello Friends,
Dont know what the hell is this, but it is totally weird.
Actually i m using NOVA Rom 3 and it was running pretty good on the device.
I m browsing the firefox and checking laptops on ebay.
all of sudden my phone hangs, i wait for few minutes but nothing happened.
I pulled off he battery and restart it, but it stuck on the booting (LG Logo) and all the buttons were flashing.
I decided to restore the backup and tried to boot it into the CWM by pressing the G key, (i always use the same method to boot in to recovery)
after many tries, i plugged it into the PC via USB and boot into the firmware upload mode (by pressing the volume up and insert the cable into USB)
i tried to flash it with the KDZ Tools, it says 100% done but i cant boot up the fone.
Please guys tell me what to do,.
And i think LG will not giving me any warranty as the phones is rooted and i was using a custom firmware
Thanks
I want to know a thing
My fon is not booting, i tried every method.
So how LG guys will know that my phone is rooted and i installed a custom firmware?
Or they just checked it after the repair and then charge me?
May be some one will solve this query..
Thanks

Galaxy Mini Android 2.3.6. - How to ROOT?? - no recovery mode

please guys, help me. i just got this phone and it it came with Android 2.3.6. I want to get Root access but I cant believe how hard it it. I used to have LGp350 and did it just like that, and this is soo hard.
Every manual i encounter says i need to download a file, put it on my micro sd card and the turn on phone in recovery mode. Recovery mode does not open for me..
and then i see that this is only for phones with custom rom? if thats true, im confused.
How can i get that root, help me please, give me some manual, link, redirect me, or help me here. i really appreciate it.

Yes it will switch off.
It's more like,
*power off the phone.
*power ON the phone( by holding power button+home button) = recovery mode.

U said ur phone was shipped with 2.3.6 so it is possible for samsung to have removed/blocked it but it seems very unlikely to me.
But u can try flashing to a different unofficial firmware frm samfirmware.
That should work.

home+volume down+power
download mode works.
ill try this one more time.

Try with the Windows program called "Unlock Root"
It rooted my 2.3.6 from samfirmware
Just plug the usb cable to the PC without activating mass storage
And hit root on the software
2 things :
1. i pressed those 2 button along with the third one - volume up, and something showed in orange letters, but in both times i tried it just went along with boot 2-3 seconds later. it wouldn't stay so i could read what it saiz. phone just turned on
2.please give me a link to download that "Unlock Root" program
Root ur phone using superoneclick and flash custom recovery by ODIN....as u can goto download mode

Hi all.
I have a Nexus one , rooted and unlocked. with broken power button
While i was going through an update using ROM MANAGER, the phone restarted then halted on the X screen, I can get in the fastboot screen (recovery) but without the power button i can't select any option and go further than that. and if the phone starts normally it stucks on the X screen.
I tried removing the sim card and SD , and tried the command "C:\android-sdk-windows\tools>fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-2.5.1.4-
passion.img" it succeeds flashing the file .. but what shall i do next???
the google driver (ADB) is installed on the device manager on my PC, and recognized while stuck on the X screen. BUT if connect the device while on the recovery it is recognized as "ANDROID BOOTLOADER INTERFACE"
I also tried using SUPERONECLICK v2.3.3. but didn't work as well.

Were you having a backup already present (Backed up using an App?) . If yes, then you can restore. But i don't think the other way around is possible.

If you plug/unplug 4 or 5 times phone boot itself (with an USB plugged in). Repaired a neighbour's N1 last month this way.
When phone boots, restart to bootloader and flash Blackrose, it uses trackball and volume keys to navigate, then what you want. You doesn't need the power button with this configuration (trackball could unlock the screen and to lock you can install some app or widget).
Anyway, I unassembled N1 several times (to clean it and to reconect the upper chip that it's been disconnected in a fall to the ground), maybe with a little care and seeing some youtube videos you can repair your button!

Did I just brick it??

finally stuck in warning bootloader
I have XT1052 model

Does the phone boot up normally other than the Unlocked Bootloader Warning Message? If so, you're just fine. Anytime the Bootloader is unlocked, that warning message just comes up every time you boot up your phone. There is a way to get it off but right now I can't think of where I found it. You can definitely Google it and you'll find your answer there.

That's the problem here! it doesnt bootup !!
Stuck at Warning Bootloader.. !!
And yeah already googled it..there is a way to remove the Bootscreen for warning message!
You can boot in recovery mode to restore your rom.
If you lose TWRP. You can flash recovery by fastboot mode.
You also can backup your phone's data to OTG usb drive by TWRP.
So, the main point is : Can you boot into fastboot mode?
Calm down!

I was just asking because it wasn't clear in your first message. No need to get all worked up over it. I got my phone all messed up a few days after I got it and thanks to some posts on this forum, I was able to get it all straightened out and it doesn't take too terribly long to do it either.
Try following this link to see if you can get your phone out of its funk. This is one that I found doing a quick search on this site. You said that your phone was a XT1052 model right? The URL is http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/general/stock-recovery-4-4-4-xt1052-t2945946.
Hope that this helps you out. There's another link that was a life saver for me. I'll post it once I find it.

I think this is nothing serious. This has happened to me a couple of times when I was testing my ROMs before for the Desire X and Desire Z. It's just, maybe there's just nothing to boot (correct me if I'm wrong). Just try following this dude's guide on how to return to stock maybe it would help you to get your phone back up and running. Good luck!
Thanks a lot mates!! very pleased for your time !!
Looks all the soutions are possible ones..will surely give it a try!
By the way, I think the phone needs to be charged to flash!
But being stuck on warning bootloader, the phone doesnt charge..always uses the power from the outlet to display the message..left for a hour ..still doesnt charge up!
really frustrated ...
would appreciate if there is any concerns for this!

Now I have no idea about what you can do about getting your battery to charge up. Have you tried charging this up on different outlets to see if it may be the outlet that you're plugging it into? There are times that I've had charging issues with my phones because of the outlet I was using.
Too bad this phone has a non-removable battery or I would tell you to get a new battery and see if this helps solve some of your issues. To me, it looks like a call in to Motorola's tech support may be in order. Now one thing that they will ask you and you really need to make sure you've done this is "Are you using the charger that came with the phone?" That's the first thing that they'll have you do and if you've already done that, you can honestly tell them yes when they ask you about that. Also, how long have you had this phone? If it's been less than a year, it may be under warranty if your phone is a developer edition. If you have a developer edition phone, unlocking the bootloader does NOT void the warranty. It only voids the warranty on the non-developer edition phones.
Just some information that you may need when you call tech support. Hope that this helps you out.
Cindy
Im using stock charger only!
now powering it in FASTBOOT... its been an hour again...still indicates battery low!
Thanks for your help all of you!
Twrp will charge the phone while you're in recovery and to flash cm 12.1 or 12 try booting cm11 then dirty flash cm12 and it should boot for you
the problem is when i select recovery it comes back to warning screen''
so to flash anyother recovery.. first i need to charge up..because it doesnt allow to flash in cmd...and in AP FASTBOOT it shows battery is low!

Hold down the power and down volume buttons for about 30 seconds. When you release both buttons this should bring you to a bootloader screen where you have choices like normal boot, boot recovery and the like. Hook the phone to a computer via usb and with adb on that computer flash twrp to the phone...
Fastboot flash recovery twrpfilename.img
Once that is flashed you should be able to go into recovery and get into twrp which will allow the phone to charge
It MIGHT even charge from that bootloader screen I never tried
thanks for that idea dude!
but it doesnt flash...it tells ..flash failure because of low battery
then i tried charging in fastboot!
doesnt work
In which android version was your phone when you started? When you tried to return to stock, which version of Android did you flash?
I guess maybe you downgraded your phone which causes hard bricks.

If you want to revert it to stock firmware here's the firmware - https://copy.com/zsMPV0c24HlT8XZs
Just use the guide someone had linked.

Yes, if you power off and THEN plug the charger in, it will power back on.
Power it off by pressing and holding the power button until the screen shuts off. Then press and hold volume down, then press and hold power and hold them both for about 4 seconds and then release both to get into bootloader mode.
In bootloader mode, you use volume down to scroll down and then you use volume up to select. You do NOT press the power button when in bootloader mode. Are you pressing the power button when in bootloader mode? Don't do that.
Use volume down to scroll down to recovery, then press volume up to select recovery to get into recovery. Can you get into recovery?

Are you pressing the power button to select recovery? You select recovery by pressing volume up, not power. If you are pressing the power button, that is why you are not getting into recovery.
You do NOT use the power button when in bootloader mode. You use volume down to scroll and volume up to select.

If battery is too low, buy a Motorola factory cable, adapter, or make your own. It will allow the phone to be powered while in fastboot to flash.
