Is there a reason the Droid Bionic on Cyanogenmod won't shoot video in 1080p? Or is it just my phone? Right now all I'm getting is 720p (720 x 480).

Does the droid 3 record in slow motion like the droid x does?
I haven't noticed any problems with the Droid 3 recording.
Slow mow as in 60fps?
It should be able to do 60fps in 720p according to the camera module used, it's capped at 30fps so it needs tweaking.

Slow motion was a recording feature on the droidx I was wondering if it carried on through the new blur. Haven't gotten my d3 yet. It's coming in the mail
What is the best Video format and all the info for it for Captivate? I have messed around with handbrake and a few other converters and am really not sure what the best format is.
I am thinking of ripping to MPEG4 (.mp4) but I want to get the maximum resolution for the captivate phone screen. I have read that it does 720p which is 1280 x 720 resolution if I am not mistaken? Then what bitrate? How about the audio? I know that the captivate supports 5.1 but only through headphones correct? So here is what I am thinking:
Ripping MP4 at 1280 x 720 resolution
xvid
2500 bitrate
Audio AAC 44100 at 128KB 2 channel
Will this work and is this the best resolution? I am going to be mainly ripping DVDs and converting them to watch on my phone.
what is the exact screen resolution of your captivate!
that resolution would be optimal....

So 480 x 800 but what about the other settings? Bitrate, etc?
I have read that the captivate can play 720p video, but 720p is 1280 x720 right? So does this not make a difference seeing as the screen resolution is lower?
it can play 720 hell 1080 it just gets resized to 800x480
hy every one ,
i know nexus one record 720p video but in cm7 its not 720p how to enable it for cm7 is there any way to record in 720p on cm7.
Why do most, if not all, 4.4.2 custom roms for the MotoX don't have HD 720p video recording on the back camera? The highest resolution is CIF. What is CIF? The front camera can do HD recording but the back can't. Is there any camera mod, or camera I should extract??
I think CIF is a pixel resolution of 352 pixels by 288 pixels.
It used by both PAL and NTSC. it describe the refresh rate (30 fps) adn resolution. QCIF (1/4 CIF) represent 144 by 176 (you can always see this number in some mobile phone screen).

We can record 60fps at 720p
I think
I tested out the different modes using Open Camera app (free, just search "Open Camera" by Mark Harman on Google Play since XDA won't let me post links) and at 60 FPS the app could not record video at any resolution.
I believe the stock camera app can record at 60 frames, but it is a slow motion setting and limited to 720p only.
