[Q] [Help] Rockband playing problem on Maclaw's CM11 - Galaxy S III Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

First of all i can't write on maclaw's thread because of post quota.
I can't run Rockband on cm11, i am facing a problem that "Please insert SD card that was bundled with your handset and restart the application." Rockband's files in my device's internal sdcard, i can run the app in cm10.2 i think the problem is mounting differences between cm10.2 and cm11. I tried directory bind app to mounting paths. How can i run Rockband on cm11 ? Any ways ?
Note : I am facing same problem with Sygic navigation app.

is there any solution ??

[Q] After upgrading to CM10 "emmc" changed to "extSdCard" and related problems
Hi,
I've recently updated my GNote (GT-7000) from CM9 to CM10, and looks like with CM10 the external sd card previously mouted as "emmc" has become "extSdCard".
Since then some of the apps (such as Apollo) have trouble seeing media files, others can't see the sd card at all, and when connecting to the desktop the drive which normally shows the content of the external sd card, only shows a couple of folders of it rather than the whole content as it used to do before (when using CM9 and previous roms I had).
Looked around for possible causes, but didn't find much. Someone mentioned that rommanager might have placed ".nomedia" files on the root of the internal or external sd card causing the problem, but that's not my case. Tried also doing a full wipe and reinstall of CM10, no joy.
Any idea?
Thanks!

That's the standard mount points for cm10 there are apps that will remount the sd and external sd in mnt as on stock roms. I had a quick look but couldn't find them, but I'm sure someone else will be able to find them.

clean install without restoring data of apps

Thank you for the suggestions -- I tried a clean install as well, but even the builtin apps (Apollo) still had troubles accessing the external sd card (not seeing any of the mp3s I had there). I have now resolved for restoring a CM9 backup I took before upgrading to 10... and everything is working as it used to.
Not sure why I ran into these issues which no one else seems having encountered so far.

I have the same problem except that the files on my internal sd card are not read by apollo player And the gallery. Is there any workaround. The problem started as soon as I upgraded from cm9 to cm10

Download ICS SD Binder. Check all 3 options and reboot. The path should be mnt/extSdCard (i think default is odb or so, make sure you change it) . It worked for me and so I'm trying to answer everyone with this problem. Give me feedback soon. And thanks button if I heped.

It didn't -- I don't need to have /emmc bound to /sdcard/external_sd as it was in GB. With CM9 everything for me works just fine with /emmc.
I tried the latest CM10 nightly, and using ICS SD Binder didn't change things. In the latest CM10 now there is also another mountpoint, called /storage/ and underneath sdcard0 and sdcard1 pointing to the internal and external storages respectively. In addition to /sdcard/ and extSDCard. Every few builds there seem to be some new change related to the storage's mount point. Going to wait another while before doing other attempts.

Any update on this question?
seems these are the new mount points even on the New JB roms from samsung
Somehow in some late November nightly, after flashing it, the files on my Internal SD were detected properly and it has all been working properly since. touchwood!

SDCard Mounttweak CM 10.1

Hi there,
I am using CM 10.1 for almost five hours and I am very happy with it.
But I am missing a tweak which put the external sdcard as main. Is there any way to make this possible.
I tried the mounttweak from imperticus but this did not work because it was for cm10?
Edit /system/etc/vold.fstab with a root text editor and remounted system partition. Switch sdcard with sdcard1 and vice versa.

I tried you method but all I get is a bootloop.
Ok...so after searching more than 10 threads completely I found a flashable zip which can mount the external sdcard as internal for cm10.1.
But then the internal storage about 4,63 GB is gone. All I get is a message on the statusbar that the internal sdcard is broken and can not be mount.
At least it works so if anyone wants to have more internal free space...here you go:
Working Mounttweak
EDIT: Works fine with temasek cm 10.1

strange SD card behavioure with CM 10.1 RC1

I noticed a strange problem after installing CM 10.1 RC1
many files from the internal storage are gone, for example most files from clockworkmod directory, some are there but the most are not, when rebooting to CWM thay are there, also when restoring original ROM they are also there.
whats going on?
i met this bug as well if you use your PC to manage your files.
first, some files shown in SD card are actually belong to internal storage
if you try to create file, it may shown in other part later.
so just use root explorer as base standard

I used root explorer and im stock it always worked fine but in cm 10.1 rc1 same problem as with the PC

CM 11 official nightly 2014-01-01 - no external sd card?

i don't see external sd card in settings or in any file manager, but i see it in recovery.
i have CWM 6.0.4.4
and i just fresh installed cm 11 first official nightly.
i have 32GB class 10 sd card
is this i'm doing something wrong or a fault in cm nightly?
i tried to click on mount sd card in settings menu, but it doesn't work.
i see sdcard1 folder in es file manager but that is empty, but my card has got data on it which i can see in recovery.
when i connect my phone to pc, it only show internal storage.

you are not in the right place
Does the camera works man,i think your sd card will work gradually it's just a nightly version give some time to improve.
camera is working at my first look
Exactly the same problem here. Everything works well except for the following features:
- SDCARD (32 GB here) does not show
- Privacy Guard freezes and it shows the status icon even if the app that uses it has been closed
No other bugs so far. Everything works with iodak v9 kernel.

Bug with Internal SD on Cyanogenmod 11

Hello,
Today i had installed CM 11 with CWM 6.0.4.7.
When i try to download an app or a file with Google Market or Browser i see this msg "The SD card is unmounted".
In recovery mod when i try to mount the card there are error. Also i cant connect it to my laptop. I enabled the Developer mode and USB Debugging.
Sorry for my bad English, i hope to understand it.
It is a known problem for users with CM11 and S6500 (the model with NFC). Unfortunately, it looks like it won't be fixed any time soon since AFAIK the main developer for CM11 (TheWhisp) has a S6500D and doesn't know the root of this problem.
Cm10.1 by bleached
Just flash cm10.1 by bleached it has no internal storage mounting errors and use cwm 6.0.3.2 by him its all here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2682511 just go to download section.
