[Q] Dialer too slow in Ginger CyBorg 2.3.5 | v005 |

hello,
I'm using a Xperia X8 with Ginger CyBorg 2.3.5 | v005 | ROM and after installing the ROM my dialer is way too slow. Any suggestion or solution to this would be really helpful and Many thanks to @CyBorg for his wonderful ROM which comparatively fast in many ways. (Except the dialer)

What are you people talking about? Dialer is fine and has no problems at all!

Go to my cyanogen rom and dowload it thare is a link thare in the thread

where is my cyanogen rom thread link

after flashing !! a lil improvement in performance !! phone is more snappy !! or may b its just my eyes !! but antutu score are more stable !! 4.5 to 4.6 k ! even though i get low scores for my crappy SD card !! thnx einstein

wifi error with this kernel need modules ?!
test on buld 2.00.707 stok

extract files inside rar archive push to system/lib/modules folder then reboot....

removed fast charge - no joy for desire c
add ext4 kernel panic in jinode

People get it moved to original android development by your mod, all source built ROMs, kernels belmg there

patched to linux kernel upto 3.0.35
renamed to 3.0.16 for stock htc modules to work

einsetin is there any specific improvements to patch 35 ? Will try to make the recovery based on this one .

Seems to sharpen the display, and smooth while playing games,
There's no changelog on the upstream so I can't tell whats changed, all I know is I patched this one at a time to 16.17.18......upto 35. Many files was patched.

Phone boots faster, benchmarks are in 4600 range.
Ingress is snappier.
I'm happy.

S2W on S-On stock ROM ?

Hi.
My power button is kind of broken and before it breaks completely, i want to enable S2W on my phone.
Its S-ON and i dont want to S-Off it. Its kind of risky i think.. I have rooted my phone successfully by HTC-dev unlocked bootloader.
Hboot: 2.02.0002
Sense: 3.6
Android: 4.0.4
I just want to get S2W functionality on my phone. I read about this here and i got choice i guess:
1) Flash a custom ROM
>> Will this work with S-ON ? I have to flash the kernel manually, right ?
2) Flash just the kernel that supports S2W
>> Is there any kernel that i can flash manually that includes S2W and works with stock ROM ?

you can flash a kernel with s2w, but will need to follow instructions to get the kernel booting on your phone with s on. zimage injection does not work with s on
You will have to repack the kernel and flash modules, like on hox

ok i flashed vipervivo ROM but battery life is pretty bad.. S2W works good..
so what happens if i restore the nandroid of original stock ROM and flash only the kernel from the ViperROM (boot.img) manually using fastboot ? how can i get modules for that ?

Viper uses redux kernel so of you flash that it will work. There's a separate kernel thread, you can find kernel and modules in the zip. There's a full boot.img in the redux zip

Correct. You might need to flash the sense 3.6 version to have wifi working. sense 4 and 3.6 use different wifi drivers

How to enable dt2w with insertcoin 2.2 & beastmode 1.0

these controls are still not working properly
still need to wait for updates

Omg!!me has a test kernel with s2w and dt2w but none seems to reply for my request of being a guinea pig..i pm'd mdgpc and got ignored..omg noone wants help from here..omg!!

I flashed ViperOne 6.2.1 on my HTC One and now I want to activate the Kernel Settings in Venom Tweaks....
How can I do it? Which Kernel should I flash?

Try elementalX, i think it's one of the best kernels for 4.4. it has different versions for sprint and international versions, choose accordingly
hm , but i'm not sure if it works with sense 6.0
