x.xx.709.x is in your list it should work
My recommendation is to install rumrunner using 32 bit ubuntu. Not 64. No worries about drivers.. you don't have to install ubuntu, just put it on a disk or usb, boot into it and select try instead of install. After days of tryng different methods, computers and versions of windows, ubuntu worked the first time . Rumrunner has a version for ubuntu and instructions on their site
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app

For sure? if it wont , the phone can brick or something?
im on 3.63 and i was able to S-OFF my phone.
So..
I tried to do that and its says after the dots:
ERROR: run rumrunner again and READ (no adb connection to device. Debugging on
Drivers?)
Press ENTER to exit
Drivers installed.
There is ADB Connection.
Debugging on.
1) are you on windows or linux
2) if your on windows make sure you reboot to fastboot first and connect cable so it can install the second driver
3) also watch the phone when its running at one point you have to allow the computer to connect in a higher mode or it will fail and still might but after you allow/accept this mode it should be good to go
I was able to set S-OFF on my ATT HTC One. I would suggest to make sure the drivers you have is the latest.
1. Android SDK - http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
2. Search the xda forums for latest compatible driver for your PC. Here's a thread with a collection of windows drivers - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2089508
3. Make sure to see your phone appear in Device Manager when connected (if using Windows OS).
4. You can also use the following command after the Android SDK "platform-tools" is installed & phone connected: adb devices
Hope this help.

Try Nik's new rom, I'm downloading now, According to nik post and users experience, this rom works on any hboot with any condition
Sent from my Incredible S using Tapatalk 2
somehow, the code will look into your device root folder /data/local/tmp/ and trying to create new folder and copy the hb file into it and flash it through the bootloader. the reason why the .exe is fail due to the blackrose can't access to the folder to paste the file and you see the cmd stuck and force exits.
i get mine done by:
1. 4ext touch recovery
2. IceColdSandwich 7.2.0 FAREWELL edition
make sure you get this done before you use the blackrose:
1. android SDK + platform tools and htc sync (drivers only) installed on your computer
2. your phone needs to be switched on normally.
3. connected via USB and in charge only mode with usb debugging switched on
if still not working, flash other rom and try again.
hope the developer will solve this problem for everyone.

thx, letme try these
Since you're from Mexico I think that LATAM version is suitable for you. However, all three RUU packs on htcdev contain the same RUU.
As with many people on here I am having problems with 8.1 & HTC one fasboot for the usb 2.
I want to put on the 1.55 hboot to hopefully cure my problems but I am not sure how to go about it?
Do I need to relock my bootloader or not?
What else do I need to do?

The safest way is to flash a supported RUU for your phone, while s-on. If there are no RUUs, then you can go s-off and flash any RUU you want. Otherwise, you can search for HBOOTs or firmwares. Be very careful while flashing and never go back s-on while on a custom firmware/hboot.

What CID are you? Do you have a nandroid? If yes, then restore the nandroid, and try getting s-off on a windows 7/8 machine with USB 2.0 ports and adb/fastboot drivers already installed, and htc sync removed. You need to be bootloader unlocked, so locking your bootloader was a step backwards.
Do this
1. On a windows 7/8(not 8.1) machine, install htc sync (the latest available) and reboot, then uninstall htc sync, but leave htc driver installer as it is. Then connect your phone (usb 2.0 port) while usb debugging is enabled, let it install the driver. Then reboot to bootloader, make sure it shows fastboot USB, and let it install the driver.
2. Unlock your bootloader, flash a custom recovery
3. Restore your nandroid/search for a guru reset rom here www.htc1guru.com
4. Go to rumrunner.us and follow all the instructions there.
Done
Ps, if I helped you, press the thanks button

Both cid # and mid # MUST match the main-ver you want to flash. CID and MID require s-off to be modified.
i.e if you have a x.xx.161.x main-ver, you need corresponding MID PN0710000 and one of compatible CID like VODAP001 or VODAP102, etc... (Vodafone)
i.e if you have a x.xx.401.x main-ver, you need corresponding MID PN0710000 and one of compatible CID like HTC__001 or HTC__101, HTC__203 etc... (stock international)
If you have a CID that doesn't match your main-ver, your phone will not find any OTA update
If you have proper CID but wrong MID, your phone will find and download OTA, but will fail the update process.
f you want to convert using a RUU, both CID and MID must match otherwise the ruu will not flash.
copy/paste the output of this command
Code:
fastboot getvar all
minus emei and sn and it will be much easier to tell you what options you have.

Yes it should
So go to this thread and install adb/fastboot.
turn on usb debugging mode on your phone ''settings ---> developer option ---> check the usb debug box'' if developer option menu is messing from you settings menu do this: settings ---> about phone ---> tap the build number rapidly until you are prompted you unlocked developers option.
connect phone to pc via usb while phone is normally booted in Android (better to use port behind the pc instead of usb port in front. also i will recommend you not to use a windows 8.1 computer.
quote me when this step is done. (use reply below my post so i can see you replied)

You'll probably encounter problem later in the process with win 8.1. Win 8.1 require hboot 1.55 for fastboot to work. During the process you will need to downgrade hboot to 1.44 to flash the international RUU. And your phone will not be recognized by computer when using fastboot and you will be stuck there. So better to find a windows 7 computer or maybe you could dual boot win 7 on the same comp.
now you should be able to continue with next step even with win 8.1
so start Minimal ADB and Fastboot, a command prompt should open. with phone connected to pc and usb debugging enabled, check that drivers are working properly with this command:
Code:
adb devices
should output this:
Code:
List of devices attached
HT(yourserial#) device

Hello,
Currently I am running a converted GPE M7 and wanted to revert to stock ROM. But right after I changed my CiD from GOOGL001 to 11111111 the phone stopped getting recognized in fastboot mode (it gets recognized when booted normally). Can anyone help me solve this issue?
I have tried numerous guides on how to solve this, no luck. Tried reinstalling drivers, HTC sync drivers (removed sync), manually, nothing, phone shows a yellow exclamation mark in device manager. Using a USB2 port btw.
I am running win8.1 x64. Before it worked flawlessly. Now nothing... So can anyone help me with solving this and getting back stck ROM?
Phone is s-off, unlocked, rooted btw
Thanks all

@alray - I was trying it in ubuntu (14.04 version), but couldnt get very far... I couldnt install adb and fastboot
In the terminal I used these commands one by one:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nilarimogard/webupd8
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb android-tools-fastboot
And after the last one it said - unable to locate package android-tools-adb etc.
After that, I am lost...
EDIT: I also tried Ubuntu 12.04 but there was no option to "Try without installing"
@alray - Ignore my previous post, I FINALLY made it work. The problem with the 12.04 version was, that I downloaded the wrong one, I downloaded the "alternate" version, not the "desktop" version, now it is working flawlessly and ADB+Fastboot are running, phone is detected in fastboot, so today I will be flashing back to stock

Don't forget that since you are using Ubuntu, you will have to use an older ruu.zip because newer ruu (7.xx.xxx.x) will only flash using htc_fastboot.exe which is Windows only. No problem flashing older RUU using the standard fastboot from ubuntu e.g. 1.28.401.7 or 4.19.401.9
