well then!
me and my friends are mostly unimaginative and only use GravityBox!
i was wondering what else everyone else is using and why?
lets go!
I only use one other module besides GravityBox: NFC LockScreenOff Enabler so I can use my nfc tags with the screen off...works great.

Hi,
Take a look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2327541.
Who needs custom roms if there is Xposed and modules such as gravitybox.
The whole flash a 150mb rom everyday to get X or Z new feature is gone for me. Stock 4.4 and xposed is the way to go.
Xposed is such a univeral way of modding android, I simply dont want anything else. More devs should move on to xposed I think.
Gravitybox is so universal for aosp it is a custom rom on itself based on all features it packs.

Xposed puts a huge drain on my battery. That's why people flash the custom roms or at least why I do.

Xblast and GravityBox
Currently using:
AppOpsXposed - To enable App Ops on 4.4.2 stock.
GravityBox - To give me customization options that I enjoy and have become used to.
Greenify - App wakelock control, experimental features.
Intelli3G - Intelligent radio control, enable 2G when on WiFi, 3G when not on WiFi, etc. This one is new on my list, still trying it out but it's a favorite battery saver and appears to work great .
First 3 are current favorites and the last one I'm trying out but I think it may be a keeper.

+1 same here using stock with xposed and gravity box, I no longer see the need to flash custom ROM.
IMHO this is the new way to customise Android!

xPosed doesn't do anything to your battery. It's the mods you install that are causing the battery drain.
Gravitybox right now. That's about it. Wish the back button hold to kill worked properly. I miss that from CM.

GravityBox
Greenify
JellyToast
I see no excess battery drain whatsoever.

Just wanted to give an fyi that Xposed Framework and Wanam are working on MJA. I haven't tested everything but the options I personally use are all working.

Here are all the Xposed Modules I use: Wanam, Disable Samsung Lockscreen Notifications, Maximize Widgets, Notification Mod, Snapshare and XHaloFloatingWindow.... anyone use any of those (obviously we know Wanam works) but for all the others it'd be nice to know before I make the jump to MJA. Still on Sac's v7.1!
Xui mod also working seconds on time and battery bar and nexus 7 animations...yea 4.3 mja...

Could use a little help, I am looking for some of the mods that can be done with out flashing a new ROM.
I am new to samsung (HTC from day one) and am trying to get up to speed on my new s4 .
Do you guys have any links?
Were/are Xposed mods not supposed to be working with MJA? I've been using Wanam and a few others for weeks now with absolutely no problem - maybe it's just what mods/options I'm using haha?

Yes. Just had an issue where it froze at the end of the call and then rebooted without even saving the convo.

I had this issue on MF9 as well.
I put Xposed on my Nexus 5 last week and battery life has dropped off notably. I tried Franco kernal but seems even worse. I guess missing ART really makes that much difference? Before I uninstall does anyone have any suggestions? Like the mods but... Thanks in advance

You want to disable all modules then enable them one by one to find which is causing the battery drain, assuming an Xposed module is causing it.
I'd give BetterBatteryStats a try first, though, to try and determine what's the cause of the battery drain.
It's unlikely that it's related to the framework itself (and remember, modules != framework.)
I disabled everything but Gravity Box and battery is back to it's old self. Will add modules 1 at a time going forward to allow for battery testing. Thanks

Okay so I was wondering, if you have more modules, does it slow down your phone? I am using about 5 modules and I was wondering if it slows down the phone at all. Also, what does the greenify module do? And is wanam better or gravity box? Thanks.

Check the Lag Fix thread in the general section for the lag fix.
Greenify helps extend your battery life and it does a great job of it too.
Try them both, that's really up to you.
Okay so I am using greenify app right now but what does the module do?

Root mode is set and forget. Install from the app store and Xposed will notify you the module needs to be activated. Do so, reboot, and all should be well.
So since i couldn't find it any toughs on what is safe to remove on lollipop
Also does anyone have any experience with exposed - as in is it worth the hassle installing it on lolipop yet or there is not much working in terms of modules.
What do you need exactly?

I presume you are asking for exposed.
Well I`d like the UI tuneuup for instance - i.e. the one that gives you hidden apps option and changes the dpi
Maybe the camera tune up.
Things like that

I was curious if any knew of an advanced power menu framework for nexus 6 5.xx? I have only found apps but nothing to flash into my existing stock root img.

Maybe I am misunderstanding what you are looking for. But, just in case. Look at MCR Modpack. While it doesn't alter the normal boot menu. It does add boot options to the notification bar. It isn't as elegant as long press on the power button. But it only takes 2 swipes and 2 taps to get to it. Imho it isn't that much more trouble.
Xposed APM+
Try Xposed with APM + read the xposed thread very carefully and take the extra 10 min of your time to make sure its clear for you will make your life that much easier.
I am on stock root and have achieved advanced power menu. Good Luck.
Side note I am a simple user and am unable to provide help I just take my time and read everything. 5.1 lmy47d
