I love my note 3 but one thing is getting on my last nerve. When I take pics it is not fast enough it follows with processing then a delay. Is there a way to get rid of this stupid processing . I know if I put it on sport mode it takes pics fast but there are moments where I need it fast. Or if there is anyway to set the sport mode as a default mode. Any help would be appreciated.

In settings, camera, turn off “smart stabilization"

Do you have the smart stabilization feature turned on? Make sure that is off and you won't have the processing delay.

With that feature off you should be able to take pictures as fast as you can hit the button.
I've noticed also with flash off it is much faster too.

Yes it was on. Thank you all. Now it is really fast

I'm not referring to the normal multi-window provided through jelly bean 4.2 for the s3.
I'm referring to the ability to minimize, maximize and re size windows as shown in the screenshot below(of the note)

You sure thats the note and not one of the galaxy tabs? The res looks a bit high, and it seems more impractical than split screen on a 5.5".
Definatly from the note, that image is actually from xda-developers home page. Link below:

Thanks. I just got confused cause I thought you were talking about stock roms and this is actually a mod.
I still think it's unnecesary for a screen our size, but good luck!
great, good luck
This is a mod. Not how the note comes stock so until someone ports it or checks if its compatible. Or even creates it from scratch we won't have it unless Samsung makes it.

Wow that's a nice feature! However, unusable on the GS3 imho, due to smaller screen size. I even struggle to find a use for the new dual-window feature, I find quickly switching between apps more convenient (thanks to the 2gb ram ).
I wonder if it even really makes sense on the note... Surely a must on tablet though!
This is my first device with multi-view and am looking for ideas to get the most out of this feature.
I'm using Multi Window App Manager to use any app in multi-view https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bjbinc.multiwindowmanager&hl=en
So.... what are your favorite app combos to use in multi-view?

Thanks for multi window app window recommendation. My phone is much more powerful now . Im coming from the Evo Lte and the hardware upgrades are incredible. This multi view is really giving me a desktop power feel.
I'll use multi view to use:
Easymony/dolphin

Easyminy/check
Dolphin/s memo
B folders/dolphin
Facebook/dolphin
Facebook/gallery
Calendar/facebook
Calendar/messenger
Astro/Astro
Asrtro/ any program
Watchon/any program or game
This is just to name a few. Im looking forward to the possibilities.

Agreed. I'm really looking forward to this. With that said I do like multi window on TW. I've actually used it more than I thought I would.

Try to reflash... flashtool/pcc / repair option for ppc
Thanks for your comment. It's not that it's not working. It's just that the screen always comes when I flash a new rom. The phone works normally though. I'm just wondering what that screen is
Sent from my C6603 using xda app-developers app
don't know why that screen shows up but I flashed stock rom twice in my live and everytime that screen came up - just pressed "turn off" and then switched the phone again and everything was ok.
It's normal.
Sometimes happens after the latest NFC firmware update.
Thank you!

I've started this thread mostly for the makers of CyanogenMod to (hopefully) see some glitches. In the possibility that there is some forum on their site, could you please redirect via PM or reply? Thanks
Onto actual topic: I notice whilst using my S III (Sprint) (the ROM is CM 10.1.2-d2spr) when I click on mobile data from the profile page (when you bring down the bar on top right corner) it shows an 'x'. However, the mobile data isn't actually disabled you have to go manually to aeroplane mode (which is kind of a downer for me because I don't have any connection where I am and am running on Wi-Fi) and then go to Wi-Fi to turn it back on. This isn't a big deal and I'm definitely not whining, just giving my experience/thought.
Thank you!

Does it matter if mobile data isn't disabled if you've got no signal and you're running off WiFi?!?

Hey partner this actually 100% the wrong place for this and cm does have a forum with bug lists and all that jazz.

Well when it isn't disabled when there's no connection the phone goes bonkers trying to find a signal.

It seems I'm in a rather compromising situation when it comes to the gs5's camera. If I turn on picture stabilization, the camera has an agonizingly slow picture rate. However, if I turn it off the pictures look no better than my old blackberry (grainy). Does anyone know any modes that gave a measure of both quickness ad photo quality?
