When you plug the phone into the PC via USB and the phone loses the SD card and the PC detects it like a pendrive.
---------- Post added at 07:57 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:08 PM ----------
Report: HALO works just fine, it's just disabled by default. There is no UMS, only MTP. Camera works fine, otherwise like normal CM10.2.
UMS is not broken, it's just not the default any longer. I've fixed up MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) support and set it as the default for all Samsung armv6 builds. You can use MTP to transfer files between the phone and PC without having to unmount the SD card in Android. It should work on both Linux and Windows (if the proper drivers are installed).
If you don't like MTP, you can switch the default mode to PTP (Picture Transfer Protocol, like a camera) or the original UMS in Settings -> Storage -> (Menu key) -> USB computer connection.
looks great! encourage erickas work with that!

OK) Thank you.
-Yes, you are right. UMS or SD-card sometimes is not working
+? But mnemonyk made a great job - working camera.
But this camera is ... Is it not the same camera driver like ericcas made?
-And ROM is not stable...
+Weather widget came back after few reboots.
+++ The best thing - long battery life) very good job!)
Halo is working normal...
But there are too many bugs for me. I prefer CM11 with sometimes-not-working Wi-Fi)
Because of storage)
CM11 made by mnemonyc- F.Collela) of course)
The last thing -- I wanted to test the last Jenkins build... But it is impossible.
Because of boot. CM logo isn't appearing. It hangs on samsung logo.

Ok. In which CM10.2 have you included Halo? Do you have the link? I`d like to download it and to test pure CM10.2 without Halo.
Have you loaded it from jenkins and modefied? Or everything is made by you - mnemonyc?
One more question: when my device has 2 years ... than the reason of its bugs is my device and not your sources?
Or every device after flashing new ROM can improve its life?
Or it is for every device bed to flash a new ROM?
You have to know it)

I have included Halo in rom linked in first post builded from my sources.
This is pure cm10.2 with working camera but without latest merged changes: http://jenkins.androidarmv6.org/job/android-experimental/655/
Bugs are of cm10.2 sources for armv6 devices and not for age of your device. Only problem of age is battery life.

Thank you) It is good.
But in my devices guarantee I`ve found those text:
Samsung Electronic Co. Ltd sets term of sarvice of CELLULAR phones - 3 years, Bluetooth hands-free - 1 year.
But:
Terms of service life is measured from the date of manufacture, unless User`s Manual sets other limits
So, it means that after flashing new ROM, after wipes we change this limit, or?
And in your modification of this ROM camera drivers are others, or? And you`ve included Halo.
It was uploaded by ericcas. Does it mean, that it was made by him?
I`ve tested that ROM. I found There any reboot and weather bug.
(How I remember)

Out of curiosity, does this NEED the Chainfire ICS repack as a base and then the CM9 install here just overwrites whatever files are necessary? Or do you ask us to do it only because you need certain things like the kernel, etc?

It can be installed over repack or over other AOSP based ROM.
It just needs to be flashed from recovery on ICS kernel to be fully and properly rooted.

The credit for this port goes to the original devs over at Cyanogen and JoyOS, without whom this ROM wouldn't have come about. Further credit goes to PrinceEndymion88 over at the SGM thread, a121232 over at the SGM thread, deba1994 over at the HTC Tattoo thread and a few others, who brought about the JoyOS ROM into being for LDPI devices. I am not responsible if you follow the instructions on this thread and brick your device!
aOS for Galaxy Pop Plus
This is based on WhiteXP's CM7 and all credit goes to him for base ROM.
So, you have wanted to use iOS but with Android's openness? Well, look no further, because aOS does just that! You have iOS' unique and pretty UI while not compromising on Android's customizations!
Download link for Alpha 1.1.4 will be up at 0000 hours IST. i.e., in about 10 hours!
Changelog for Alpha 1.1.4:
New Phone.apk (Now looks much more like iOS (Check Screenshots)

What works:
WiFi (by flashing White's WiFi drivers)
Radio (Calls and Data)
GPS
Audio
Known bugs:
Camera (white screen error; use Camera Illusion)
Bluetooth
Screen glitches (due to incomplete graphic binaries by Broadcomm)
Chinese characters still present in a few places (please tell me where these are there so that I can translate and fix them)
Help the developer!
Porting JoyOS is a no-brainer, but resizing it, making it work and making it stable is! I humbly request the users here to post all the bugs that they encounter in this ROM. If you find a Chinese character or symbol anywhere, take some time off to post it here so that it may benefit other users too. And if any of you know Mandarin, they can pitch in with the translations since I know very little to no Mandarin.

It's not my kernel, but by PhyscoGame. Kernel has been updated to 2.6.35.14. RFS and FSR partitions are removed (IMEI data still intact) and the whole system has been formatted to ext4. The end result is that we get a very smooth kernel to run CM7/9 on. But it won't work with all the ROMs because of the RFS and FSR. The kernel can be found here.

Hello there! I am currently working on fixing everything in the base CM7 ROM for my device. The Dec is working on it, and I am helping him where I can.
I won't be updating aOS until it is at least a semi-stable release.
Already, the low headset bug has been fixed and we are working on the camera with proper preview screens. I will update it soon.

GT-I9195 ~ C-Rom ~ f4k Kernel
This Rom: wow, wow, wow, WOW!
Carbon meets Pac-rom and I guess what we get is C-Rom! This rom is amazing, packed with features. It even contains both the Carbon performance app as well as Kernel tweaker, which could be a bit dangerous but it's nice to see so many options and features! Did I already say wow?
For anyone who is a fan of Carbon Rom, I would HIGHLY recommend you check this out. Just gave it a quick peek, everything seems to be fine. Going to install it with Gapps and f4ktion kernel now and give it a proper test drive.
Just one question, what is that message icon thing at the top of the notification panel? It doesn't seem to do anything..
@Silesh.Nair: Thank you for all the hard work you put in our device. I currently use RR but i;m always glad to see new ports for our Samsung.

Totally awesome rom, has got everything I need in a rom I used to be a big fan of pac rom but this blows it away.
Can't thank the man enough for all his time and effort.
Running great with f4k kernel.

Hi again! Testing the rom I found two small failure; there isn't init.d folder in system-etc, kernel tweaker app don't works correctly when you apply his tweaks. I use universal init.d app and works good now.
And lock screen wallpapers in themes dont work for me too.

Confirmed. I will fix it in the next build. In the meantime, you can just create the init.d folder under /system/etc folder.
I also read a post on their Google plus page saying not to use kernel tweaker in v6.4.

Gallery2.apk not included in /syste/app Camera must be installed either from another ROM or third party. I installed Nokia Camera and works fine (see the latest image of screenshot), except gallery error after rebooted the system.
Brief review
1. Installed ROM as instructed in OP, rebooted the system and system works as it should be. Since user apps have not yet been installed, system running fast and smooth as usual.
2. Tweaked build.prop: dalvik2cache script (dalvik.vm.dexopt-data-only=0), in order to move [email protected]*.dex files from /data/dalvik-cache to /cache/dalvik-cache and enable soft keys in navigation bar (qemu.hw.mainkeys=0). Rebooted the system and it works just fine. However, dexes still occupy /data/dalvik-cache. Need to be removed manually and gained plenty of free space (ca. 180 MB) in internal memory (/data) afterward.
3. Link2SD works, no headache, since it's fresh installed . However, restoring apps using TB, even a single app took minutes or failed. Will explore further.
4. No need to flash GappsLight. Google services files are already included in /system/app-priv. Simply installed the latest gmscore.apk, login into G server and all G services (incl. Playstore) works as it should be.
5. Will try PA features and report it later. At least floating window works like a charm. Hover? looking how to enable it.
Thanks to our great dev @rhar**** for bringing PA 4.4.3 to our obsolete device :good:
EDIT:
And of course, many thanks also to Olivier. :good:

Thanks a lot for your review.
The gallery and camera were excluded because of /system storage issue.
And to enable hover, open the notification and you'll find a different icon near the quick settings. Just tap that and there you go!

Thanks for using my sources but not mentioning me anywhere at all. As you certainly know, I have forked and patched some of the PA repos to make AOSPA run better on our ARMv6 devices and this took me some time.
Why I know that you used my work? You starred one of my repos some days ago and the build number in the Screenshot is hardcoded to "KTU84M" (should actually be "pa_p500..." and so on.
Think about it.

I just don't know how I forgot to mention your team!
I'm really, really sorry for that :crying:
Yes, I did use your repos, but had to edit things too to make it work on my phone, like Wallpaper, etc. But the main credits goes to you and your team.
And yea, I was myself wondering if the build no. is correct or not.
Again I'm sorry for not mentioning you

Weird!. It works for me . When you click the download file (zip), yes the browser will open a new window of advertisement or something likes that. Simply kill it and main window is downloading the zip file.
I'm not able to install Gapps, I flash them but after a reboot they aren't in! Tried with GAPPSlight and Banks, also tried to flash them with a different recovery (TWRP 2.7.1.0).
P.S. the ROM runs really fast and seems stable, more than other KitKat builds, thanks a lot

Additional review
Issues:
1. Google + 4.3.1 from @Notonlyeyes can't not be installed , while it works fine on OMNI (Beta7) :good:
2. Spirit FM (Nov 16) doesn't work. Duh. It works like a charm in Beta7. No need BT
With those issues, prefer Beta7 for my daily driver. Features enrichment on Beta7 can be done using Xposed modules :good:
Reverted to Beta 7 :good:

I don't know about Google+ but spirit has issues because of drivers.
For that, Omni's kernel is great. The only issue it has is offline charging. So, I'm thinking of making a kernel compatible with both cm and aosp (the source)

I didn't know you were a dev. I'll try this out soon. Do you want a log for the camera? Will the L90 be officially supported?
The op says that slim center and things like that are working, but there aren't any settings for it, it just isn't there. It seems to be almost pure aosp.

I still have to edit the thread as I should with real features.
And btw it says "WILL BE INCLUDED" so not included yet.
Also I used staging/mm6.0 branch. Slim is so slow while updating things..

The camera is a bug of my tree I guess . Slim hasn't add any tweaks yet and it CAN take some time to get things rolling.
New build is up.
- Android 6.0.1_r10
- Double Tap statusbar to sleep
- Reboot option
- QS long-tap support
- Slim's source up-to-date
I will try to add a bit more of customization in the next build..

Guys, the project is not abandoned!
Thanks to @GrinningFerret, the next build will be rebased to the new Quarx's tree and so you'll have camera fix and ADB fix and it will be updated to the lastest Android version (_r13) and maybe SuperSU will be added. Plus, I'm working on something new so.. Stay tuned.. ?
Inviato dal mio LG-D405n utilizzando Tapatalk
Just an heads up. I successfully compiled the new version and everything is working except Brightness. It will always be the highest value. Maybe it is a SlimRom problem, so we have to wait for them or I should find a fix...Otherwise you will have a build with broken brightness[emoji14]

Likely no because MM uses as much of /system as possible. That's why there is the need for systemless root and all that.
