These are the pictures i recently took on my trip to Goa, i took the pictures using Camera 360 and applied the filters using the phone itself. Hope you like them. . Never knew our phone was such a good camera, only thing required is a little software tweak.

Looks fine. I´ve got some problem with this aplication the latestest photos had to much noise. I don´t know why but only with this aplication. Good job with your passion!

did any of LG 2x users tried to take down the back cover of their phone and then take the picture?
yesterday i accidentaly broke that plastic part on the back cover while cleaning (the part that says "8M" and protects the lens/flash) and discovered that it's blurry as hell and can't be cleaned much...

If you want you can clean it with isopropyl alcohol and then put a new back on.

i tried to clean it with a liquid specified for monitor cleaning - but nothing happened...
btw how can picures be worse without the blurry cover? they can only be better
My felt off like 6 months ago, and I think it pohos looks better without it.
They are cleaner without the back cover, but hace you tryed andyCP's camera mod (gingerbread) i have taken my best pictures with it, by far the cleanest images

My back cover has been broken for a while now and now the camera lens is beat up and got dirt and stuff on it from being in my pockets and on tables. The cover is good for keeping the lens safe.

yes, it's good to have it covered for preventing any mechanical damage to the lens but in my case i rarely keep anything else in the phone pocket...
when the phone seats on the table, the lens is still protected from the mechanical damage because it isn't in the same level with the table but slightly inside the back battery cover...
only dust can access it...
however... it was just an idea
Sorry if this has been asked but im getting dust going beneath my screen and I need to wipe it. Is there any safe way to do this? And I can't really find any disassembly vids. Please help thanks.

Unfortunately today I also noticed small "pixels" of dust under my screen too. I do not think there is a way to clean it without opening the device. We should probably find a way to prevent that..
So still no one knows how to open the screen safely. Theres two star shaped screws on either side of the phone on the bezel, would that help to remove screen or am I going to risk breaking something? Please help.
bro if u take my advice dont do it yourself. I know how difficult it is to ignore it when u notice it.
By if u do it ur self u may put more of it then taking it out.
So if u really want it then take it to a preoffesional.
Sony repair quoted me 40 pounds. Id rather do it myself.

Do I have to disassemble the whole phone from the back just to get to the front glass or is there an easier way?
Yes and as was previously suggested don't do it yourself you will just ruin the device of you are not an electronics engineer to put it back together as you found it. Its a tough job to reverse engineer electronic devices even those who are easily accessible imagine doing the same thing to your compact phone

The only way would be to disassemble the phone. The front digitiser is not glued to the LCD on this model as it is with other phones so it's not as hard as it may seem to get the dust out. Although you will need to completely disassemble the phone to get to the dust.

I have these PDF's downloaded so let me know if you need.

this may sound stupid but if you have a bike pump or air compressor use it to blow the dust out trough the micro usb port it may work and no disassembly required

It's very easy to replace the back glass that does include a new lens. If it bugs you that much that's an option.

You have to heat up the back then the adhesive comes loose, make sure you order a back glass that has the adhesive already applied and then you reheat that when you put it on. I did it on my Xperia Z and it worked fine. It's basically just a piece of waterproof tape that keeps the water out.
Or mayb you can use some p2000 waterproof sandingpaper and allot of patients? Don't know for sure, replacing is always possible...

Can you mayb try to polish the back after removing? I am quite anxious to know if it would work, in that case 1 can pollish the whole phone, also the frame (to end up with an mirror/chrome finish)?

Hi!
I ordered this (http://www.aliexpress.com/item/for-...cover-back-housing-back-glass/1603707841.html) back plate two weeks ago and it arrived yesterday, my old one was broken.. I don't know if it's glass or hard plastic, but it's holding up great without any protection!
There is no shatter film on the backplate, so I think its not original but OK.
It was very easy to take the old one off; just some heat, a sharp knife and a guitar pick did the trick.
The new one came with adhesive, and after cleaning the frame it went right on!
All in all very nice, and easy install, may be original, may be not.
Press thanks if I helped you

Hi!
For copyright issues it's blurred on the site, but it's there. First I was worried about the quality of the logo's and branding, but when it arrived, all the logo's (Sony, Xperia, NFC icon, G camera icon) were all very crisp and detailed!
It looks like the real deal
Everytime I try to take a picture lately my pictures always seem a bit blurry or soft and when I hold it up to the light I see tons of little scratches. I remember hearing something about a lens scratch problem but that has a simple fix. Any ideas?
Sent from my 831C using xda-developers.com, powered by appyet.com
There are a few fixes out there. I used a dab of toothpaste on the lens, then used a Q-tip in a clockwise motion with light pressure. You can use a soft rag once you're done to wipe the lens and any excess toothpaste off.

Helped a bit I think, it still seems like it has some sort of soft or overly light focus that's only happened recently though
You may need to go over it several times to get it clear. If that doesn't resolve your issue, you may have a hardware issue. Are you having problems with blurry pics using third party apps, or with the camera app itself?

Sorry about that I can't reply directly to you from this other XDA app in using. It had definitely gotten better: earlier today I was in class and I decided to use my eraser around the lens just to see if it would help and it's much improved, so I'm going to do more of the toothpaste tonight to see if I can completely fix it.
Thanks to you guys for all the help!

Yup they're about gone now! I practiced with it a bit and it's all nice and clean now. Would it stay that way? I've never had this problem with any other phone I've had and I've gone from the HTC EVO 4G and HTC EVO LTE and not once had that weird blurry/soft problem

Aside from grease on your lens from your fingers, the lens will stay clear. The toothpaste (or whatever agent you used) removes the protective film from the lens.
They'll be ok, so don't be scared about that.

Dear,
i'm about to do this aswell!
I have a dremmel (i hope I spell this correctly)
Only thing I need is sandpaper.
What kind of sandpaper did you use?
Hope you can help me!
Youtube is your friend. Not my video.
Disassembly video, in case you want to remove the button for sanding. Again, not my video
Started with 400 paper, then 1400 paper, then I polished using a dremel and a polishing cream.
