HTC IME Problems

Anyone who got the cursor moving by taping om the sides of the phone?
Mine works a few times, then it stops until I change keyboard and then change back to HTC ime. The taping works fine with stock lg keyboard and SwiftKey.

use the volume keys to move the cursor, much easier

I'm aware of that feature, but it's not what I'm asking for.

[Q] Galaxy Nexus On-screen buttons

I saw that in some roms on various devices like Galaxy Mini, and I would like to ask you are there any way to have it on MiniCM9?

What's the point? You already have buttons and they will only take up screen space. It will just make the screen look smaller.

Dunno why, but i like them. Plus I tried them on my friend's galaxy mini and they looked cool and they would be pretty useful for me because my hardware buttons were crappy.

That is because the hardware is compatible and the screen to. Our screen is just not abld to do that (correct me if im wrong)

It is possible. Its like a software or app. Any phone could have this with ICS even like hmm. hTC Tattoo. The screen does need something special to have them

I think its totally useless because of our phones screen size. Thoose buttons would took too much space. If your hardware buttons are broken use Button savior from market.

They would look cool, but they're pretty useless for our device!

OK I have a modded Verizon galaxy nexus with 4.0.4,in tab mode. Every thing is customized ,except one thing....with that said, I bring you to my question. Can you make a call button for the navigation menu,. My reason for that is there are two menus one on screen and the other on the navigation bar.a standard call button on that bar would make more space thus elements the on screen menu bar altogether. CAN U DO IT. send answers to [email protected] thanks.

[Q] About S-Pen and Screen

Hi.
Just couples of hours ago i noticed when I was browsing internet using S Pen, when i point to a hyperlink & make the tip of it as near as it can to the screen, that hyperlink looks as if there's a mouse hovering over it (change of color). Is it normal?
Since i heard some s pen problem that the device recognize strokes but actually the pen don't touch at all.
Fyi : I'm running a dolphin browservHD instead the stock ones

Multi screen (split screen) How?

Basicly iv seen posters and vids of people useing their tab 2 with a multi screen function, (two programes running at once, one on one side of the screen one on the other). But how do u do it? Do i have to download an app and if so wht one? Or is it that pen thing that allows u todo it?

Press and hold the back button. A tab should appear on the left or right side of the screen. If it does not then you need to wait for an update.

Pull down in full screen apps

On my note 2 (romed don't remember about stock) I could bring the pull down at anytime even in 3d full screen apps. I noticed this is not possible with my one. Aside from installing status bar app, is this a known limitation? It's bugging the crap out of me. Thanks.

I'm able to pull down my notification screen while in apps. What ROM are you running?

I wouldn't call it a limitation... It just doesn't do it.. So yeah in a way I guess limitation is about right.

I am running Renovate latest build. I have the same "issue" on Viperboy's rom. I can do it in apps just not full screen ones.

Yeah, some apps allow you to enable the notification bar while others do not in full screen. It would be nice to be able to do it though.

This is actually a FEATURE of Samsung apps. Literally the one and only thing I miss from my s3, I used it so much I considered not getting the One just for that reason.

Smart status bar in the play store brings the notification bar back by pulling down the top edge of the screen.
