Same problem.

Status 0 means that it successfully flashed the ROM...have you tried booting it up to see what it does?

Flash 4EXT Recovery (a better recovery) and do a 'Format all partitions except SD card'. You will lose all data, SD card will be untouched.
Then install the ROM, I would recommend the latest May 21 2014 nightly ROM of Evervolv for Nexus One.

[Q] EMMC error when trying to install a file CWM Recovery

When I try to install a zip from the Internal SD card(phone memory) it will not work and fail to install all the time.
Message I get: E: Cant open/emmc/File name(bad) Installation aborted.
The android in the background is looking dead and has a red triangle coming out of its main compartment.
What is the problem that wont let it install?
Are you using cwm? If so it corrupts partitions.....should have switched to twrp
EDIT whoops didn't read that you had CWM.... CWM corrups partitions which is why everyone uses WCX or TWRP recoveries...... You should have switched recoveries

You still can. Flash a new recovery (wcx recommended). Boot to recovery and try to mount whichever storage volume is you fits and windows should prompt you to format, which you'll need to do
Yea we really need to get can removed from xda. The Chinese ported their own version of cwm I wonder if it corrupts too?

Ok i got it on my Vivid the WCX but when I try to use the internal storage it still does not let me install the root. Do I need S-off?
No.. Put your ROM zip on external storage. Boot to wcx recovery and Mount internal storage to your computer and format it. Then reinstall the rom

[Q] Some simlinks failed, status 7?

Dear xda peeps,
Well, I downloaded CM 10.2 and then put it in my memory card. Then I rebooted into recovery and factory reseted, wiped partition cache and dalvic even. But when I try to flash CM 10.2, it says some simlinks failed, Status 7. And I thought that it was because of a recovery problem thats why I flashed the latest CWM recovery I could get for Nexus One (CWM 5.5) but still the same error. I even flashed TWRP 2.6.0.0 but still the same error.
And also I noticed that the files I push using adb command (adb push recovery.img /sdcard/recovery.img) is in my memory card O_O. I meant like isn't it suppose to be on the phone internal sdcard or something? And the other thing is that I can successfully fastboot all the files I push to sdcard, but I can't use fastboot if I take my memory card out. :S Isn't is suppose to use the internal sdcard?
Stuffs I have tried:
New recoveries,
Factory reset/partition/delvic,
Re downloaded CM 10.2,
unmount system and tried. Annnnddd nothing helped.
So, my real question is, how can I fix this simlink status 7 error? My phone can't boot anymore >.<.
Don't push recovery to SD, us fastboot to flash latest recovery
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
And make sure you bootloader is partitioned to be large enough, see the black rose thread for me info on how to if need be
Redownload ROM or at least check to make sure md5sum matches as to rule out a bad download

One cannot just flash on ICS/JB/KK Roms on the Nexus One.
You are expected to do your due diligence in this area and there are numerous topics abound discussing this exact same topic.
If you try to flash on a ROM which the Nexus One's tiny 512 MB partition doesn't support, then you will get some unpleasant results such as the one you face right now.
The answer in a word is BlackRose - To re-partition your system/cache/data so as to accomodate the JB ROMs.
Follow the steps listed here and do your research before flashing. It can save you a lot of time/stress:

Never, ever format the system.
If you're on stock just do that:
1-Reboot in recovery
2-Choose Wipe data/factory reset
3-Flash cm rom
4-Flash gapps
5-Reboot
Done, that's it.
If you want to update cm roms (or any rom):
1-Reboot in recovery
2-Flash cm update
3-Choose Wipe cache & dalvik cache
4-Reboot
Done.
You don't need to mess up with anything more.
P.S. better use twrp 2.7 from novafusion, for better compatibility.

Thanks but it still doesn't work. I want to flash the rom but the rom file its in the external sd card and it says that there are no files found. And when i hook up the phone to my pc the phone is detected, however I can´t acess the sd card.
Maybe if there's a way for me to acess the ext. sd card and change the rom file for the internal memory it would work. Do you know how can i do this?

Euhm, it might be a weird idea, but you take your external SD-card, put it in your card reader, connect the card reader to your pc, and copy the zip to (let's say) the root of the SD-card
CWM should be fine, but I'm used to TWRP. You can find it on the novafusion website. (search novafusion TWRP)
If you can't boot into CWM or TWRP, or files still don't show up on the browsermodule in the recovery rom, you still have the possibility to flash your ROM using odin. Check the installation guide on novafusion, it gives you a link to all the files you need and a detailed description how to install your rom.

Can't boot after flashing ROM (Failed to mount /data) help pls

Hi, so i was trying to install:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/development/rom-ncs-rom-v1-1-08-16-2016-t3440269
I have unlocked bootloader and i have latest TWRP, i have no idea what went wrong but everytime i try to boot now it says encryption was interrupted and can't continue, and everytime i try to flash image or wipe everything it keeps saying unable to mount /data and /storage. I really have no idea what to do, any help would be appreciated, please.
Did you try to go in the recovery and mount the system from there? Or just format the phone and install the rom through sd card
well i tried flash again the ROM and it worked now, but i had to install TWRP revision 3 guess it fixes some encryption stuff?

Gt-P1000 format +kitkat4.4.2 lost root access

my CWM - Based recovery is V6.0.4.6
I have no access to my internal memory, only on my memory card.
Solve the problem about odin 1.7 is not possible because no access to pc
I tested apps without success (Towel Root, Z4Root)
Is there a solution with my CWM-baset Recovery v6.0.4.6 and a clockworkmod ROM ??
I try with zip install / sdcard 1 with the file "cm-11-20140122-NIGHTLY-p1" update
the error comes:
:"assertfailed:run_programm("/tmp/updater.sh")
E:Error in/storage/sdcard1/cm-11-20140122-NIGHTLY-p1 .zip
status 7
installation aborted"
maybe someone has a solution for me ...
sorry for my english
