Gt-P1000 format +kitkat4.4.2 lost root access - Galaxy Tab Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

my CWM - Based recovery is V6.0.4.6
I have no access to my internal memory, only on my memory card.
Solve the problem about odin 1.7 is not possible because no access to pc
I tested apps without success (Towel Root, Z4Root)
Is there a solution with my CWM-baset Recovery v6.0.4.6 and a clockworkmod ROM ??
I try with zip install / sdcard 1 with the file "cm-11-20140122-NIGHTLY-p1" update
the error comes:
:"assertfailed:run_programm("/tmp/updater.sh")
E:Error in/storage/sdcard1/cm-11-20140122-NIGHTLY-p1 .zip
status 7
installation aborted"
maybe someone has a solution for me ...
sorry for my english

ROM Manager + RomKitchen failure - cannot open file

Hi all,
I have SGS i9000 from PlusGSM. It's rooted. Today i'v installed ROM Manager. I cooked "my" ROM, downloaded it - JV5_No_Wipe-v6-20-19-25-21-06-4e00e0a7e252b.zip - and saved on internal card (mounted in /sd on my phone).
I tried to:
1. Create backup of current rom and flash ROM from SD card via ROM Manager
2. Just flash from SD card.
I tried to fix privileges and then do 1 and 2.
I also tried to remove external sd card and repeat 1/2.
I always get after rebooting into recovery mode:
-- Install from package...
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
E:Can't open /cache/update.zip
(bad)
Installation aborted.
I thought about using manual "update" in recovery mode but then, it looks for
/sdcard/update.zip (not /sd/update.zip) so i assume naming file as update.zip in /sd would give me nothing.
I suppose my problem is trivial but it's my first attempt to flash my SGS with a custom ROM and I cannot find good answer that would lead me to the solution (http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-1060352.html).
Thank you for your patience.I appreciate any suggestions,
You don't need RomManager to flash updates. You just need a CWM enabled kernel and then you can flash romkitchen directly from recovery.
I would suggest you install hardcore-s kernel using Heimdall or Odin. Altough CFRoot is also good and has CWM.
RomManager is supposed to be a frontend to CWM, but it did not work for me and I heard that it sometimes fails on the SGS.

[Q] CWM cant install Cyanogen 7 - Am I missing something?

I have searched for a few hours and can't find anyone with a similar issue.
I have my 2.2 captivate rooted and unlocked with CWM and TB installed. Got the Cyanogen 7 zip install on my sd card.
Loaded CWM Recovery and backed up my rom.
Restarted and went to CWM to Install Rom from SDCard
It doesn't point to the SD card, however. It starts in the Internal storage, so i choose external_sd/ then the update file
it boots into recovery, formats the phone, but gives me the "No such File or Directory" message with the path set to SDCARD External SD Update.zip(Cyanogen install)
So it thinks my internal storage is my SD card?
So its pointing to the wrong directory, but i cant find an option anywhere to make it go through the right directory.... help?
sorry, mods please delete.
It is installable througn CWM,

Harder way:
Make sure you're running a Eclair/Froyo Firmware (2.1 or 2.2) and Eclair/Froyo Bootloaders!
Root your device and install ClockworkMod Recovery.
Do a Nandroid backup!
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
Install the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
Optionally install the Google Addon (through ROMManager is easiest)

Try taking out your external sd before you flash, and if you have anymore problems post in the CM7 Q&A thread

Follow dr.ketan method. Is safe and easy.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1329360
Put your flash file at both internal and external sd card.
NEVER do any full wipe and nandroid on unsafe kernel.

Thank you Sir for the quick reply but I don't have an sd card. Its the internal storage and the method youve posted would make me update it through the external storage which the android system recovery isnt mounting

Try dr.ketan 1st. If still failed. Then follow the method as noted below.
1.download speedmod k3-13 or hdyracore kernel in tar.file.
2.Boot into download mode and flash it thru pc odin.
3. After phone reboot, use "root explorer" to check u are in full root or not. Copy and paste some file under system.
4. If everthing goes well. Then use "triangle Away" to remove yellow triangle and reset binary count.
Good luck mate.

Same problem.
Status 0 means that it successfully flashed the ROM...have you tried booting it up to see what it does?
Flash 4EXT Recovery (a better recovery) and do a 'Format all partitions except SD card'. You will lose all data, SD card will be untouched.
Then install the ROM, I would recommend the latest May 21 2014 nightly ROM of Evervolv for Nexus One.

Never, ever format the system.
If you're on stock just do that:
1-Reboot in recovery
2-Choose Wipe data/factory reset
3-Flash cm rom
4-Flash gapps
5-Reboot
Done, that's it.
If you want to update cm roms (or any rom):
1-Reboot in recovery
2-Flash cm update
3-Choose Wipe cache & dalvik cache
4-Reboot
Done.
You don't need to mess up with anything more.
P.S. better use twrp 2.7 from novafusion, for better compatibility.

Thanks but it still doesn't work. I want to flash the rom but the rom file its in the external sd card and it says that there are no files found. And when i hook up the phone to my pc the phone is detected, however I can´t acess the sd card.
Maybe if there's a way for me to acess the ext. sd card and change the rom file for the internal memory it would work. Do you know how can i do this?

Euhm, it might be a weird idea, but you take your external SD-card, put it in your card reader, connect the card reader to your pc, and copy the zip to (let's say) the root of the SD-card
CWM should be fine, but I'm used to TWRP. You can find it on the novafusion website. (search novafusion TWRP)
If you can't boot into CWM or TWRP, or files still don't show up on the browsermodule in the recovery rom, you still have the possibility to flash your ROM using odin. Check the installation guide on novafusion, it gives you a link to all the files you need and a detailed description how to install your rom.
