HTC One RUU.exe files - Sprint HTC One (M7)

Please forgive me I am a total newbie trying to fix my sons phone that he bricked
Sprint HTC one
I got the phone in and it says:
^^^TAMPERED^^^
^^^RELOCKED***
I have it in FASTBOOT mode.
When I try to download the RUU.exe file all I can find are zip files.
Searched for RUU exe downloads and it downloaded as a zip. Tried to open it and it said "zip is invalid"
Running win 7.
Specs off phone

Any help would be appreciated

Based on the info you gave you will have to use one of these there was no RUU for 1.31.651.2
3.04.651.2 RUU download and unzip and follow the directions in the thread
3.04.651.2 RUU.exe
3.05.651.6 RUU.exe download link is at the bottom of the page

Thank you, but none of those work.
the .exe downloads are in German and they do nothing.
the .zip is empty and says invalid

download the OTA for you version phone and flash it in stock recovery
Ota will check cid mid & your current software
Manually ota flashing need S Off too
So if HTC not released it in your country you can't do it
If HTC released then clear cache of updater & download app then reboot then try again

you must have the ota.zip file that match your version (cid and mid) and you flash it from stock recovery. save the ota.zip in /android/obb, reboot phone in stock recovery ---> apply from phone storage.
Thank you sir
I have Ota.zip but how can I find out what is
My ota MID ???

4.20.1020.12 = bouygues telecom and afaik your MID should be PN0710000 and your CID: HTC__247. Your current MID is set to PN0714000 and CID is supercid (11111111), not sure you can flash an ota with this. Looks like you have tampered with the phone or you bought it second hand. Are you sure bouygues released an ota to sense 6?
I try what you said above for manual update bat it shows me failed !!!

stop trying random things, first step is to determine what file (if any aviable) and parameters you need.
What is the file name of the ota you have downloaded? any link?
I rooted my phone and i want to unroot it!
and I download RUU and install it and it change to this
what should I do now ?

answer all questions or I can't help. and again stop doing things you are not sure of. You have s-off which mean you can brick your phone by flashing random stuff.

So why have you ran the bouygues (.1020) ruu if you want your phone to be .708?
anyway, now you will need to find and run the latest .708 ruu.exe or ruu.zip (can be either signed or decrypted, doesn't matter because hopefully you have s-off)
restore your cid to original:
Code:
fastboot oem writecid HTC__622
run the .708 ruu
update your phone OTA (or manually)
you will need to search Asian websites to find a .708 ruu
I know there is a very old 1.29.708.16 ruu somewhere, there might be some newer versions...
really i don`t know why i run that RUU.
and I don`t know what sentences should I search in google for find .708 ruu !
would you please help me ?

http://www.youheroo.com/?p=136529
download the file, save it to your adb/fastboot folder and rename it to ruu (ruu.zip)
boot phone in bootloader mode
change cid to original:
Code:
fastboot oem writecid HTC__622
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
start ruu mode:
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
flash the ruu:
Code:
fastboot flash zip ruu.zip
will report "failed, flush image again immediately" so do the same command again:
Code:
fastboot flash zip ruu.zip
then:
Code:
fastboot reboot
this will downgrade your phone to a very old version, from there you will need to do each ota to the latest version.
don't forget this will wipe all your data.
---------- Post added at 06:08 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:54 PM ----------
edit: this ruu will probably downgrade your hboot version to 1.44, so don't use a windows 8.1 computer to flash the ruu. you should be fine with win 7, any linux distribution or on a mac.
ran out of thanks sir....ran out of thanks
:good::good::good::good::good::good:
before I use that RUU I used TWRP to backup all my phone!
if i restore that backup should it back to .708 or it doesn`t work ?
I dont know anything about my phone, what is S-off and rest.. And these are present software in my phone..now i hope you guys will help me to update .y phone.

htc one ota update 4.4 sense6

After I unlocked and rooted my HTC one m7 I missed some of system apps and now I can't install ota update , I tried to install stock recovery but still failed..!
Yeah, once you root, no more stock OTAs. So, start researching custom Roms. You'll always be way ahead of stock OTAs anyway.

never post imei and serialno from a fastboot getvar all and btwm you already have posted a getvar at post #4
do the ota update, when in recovery, vol+ and power to see what file cause the update to fail. look at the post I linked above.
when you have determined which file is missing or have unexpected content, you can push the correct one to your phone and try the ota again.

what to do if after vol+ & power button, then I choose "install from phone memory", the phone keeps giving me "invalid operation" messages and won't get to the file directory. It is difficult finding a RUU if you don't know the version number (x.xx.xxx.x)! Did you try to side load a custom rom on to your phone? The instructions were in [Solution] No OS installed post? ADB commands will work while the phone is in Recovery. Once the prep is complete, then boot the phone up into Recovery and plug it into the computer.

Edit you post and remove your personal info
installing ARHD on you phone is not going to soft brick anything
you probably don't have the correct recovery installed
Flash recovery TWRP 2.6.3.3
http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
then sideload this Rom to your phone
http://www.androidrevolution.org/downloader/download.php?file=Android_Revolution_HD-One_31.6.zip
TWRP / Advanced / ADB Sideload - swipe to sideload
From PC adb / fastboot folder
you use
adb sideload name-of-rom.zip
make sure the rom is in the same folder as adb / fastboot
when you done you should attempt to get s-off, being your on hboot 1.44 it should be very easy with Revone or rumrunner or firewater

Remove from your post the imei and serialno!
Download a new TWRP 2.7.1.2 from here. Install it and after a successful install then flash a MD5 checked ARHD in TWRP.
Thank you so much guys, I've installed latest TWRP and the push Andorid Revolution, fixed!

HTC One Wont Boot

Okay, so I returned to to stock yesterday using the correct htc1guru rom. After OTA by phones screen goes pixelated blue and then pink and stops on the htc splash screen. Ive tried re rooting and flashing a custom rom to no avail. I don't have a back up as my PC died and now its stuck on an old update. Does anyone have any idea? I'm going to flash a nandroid back up offline of the uk unbranded htc one but htc1guru is down so I can't download it.
Thanks
Bump. Desperately need this fixed.

HTC1Guru is back up! Have you tried a factory reset from the bootloader screen? Make sure you check the MD5 of the files you download to avoid a corrupt file. It is difficult to help you when you already have a plan in place and are waiting some action from another source. Which seems like a reasonable way out of your issue. Nor did you provide any information on what CID, MID or OS version!
I'll look when I get home from work. I was using paranoid android 4.6 beta 3. Never flash new firmware or radio. My cid is htc u 001 and mid is pn1000. (I'll check exactly as soon as I'm home) the nandroid back up is corrupted. Yes I have tried factory reset
Heres my phone detail. Any Help at all?

From the looks of it you have already updated the phone to the latest firmware.
Try flashing this firmware>> http://xda7.androidrevolution.org/db_mirror/Firmware/HTC/HTC_One/401/6.09.401.5.zip
and then TWRP 2.6.3.3
and then use this Stock rooted system twrp backup http://goo.gl/zN5ARs or mirror http://goo.gl/tvT1z2
