thoughts on this extended batery from amazon

15 bucks for a 3900 mah battery and the reviews (only 2 reviews) are excellent

I would be concerned about the size and not able to use other accessories such as cases, car mount and such..... But I would love to hear your thoughts on this matter if you decided to try this out.

ive had that same battery for about 2 months now.. i love it. i can surf the web and txt for a good 24 hours before i start think bout pluggin it in.

i thnk so one of the reviews says it was teh 4g antenna on the back plate, so im gonna assume he means nfc antenna

yes it works with the ns4g as for the nfc there is somthing there but not sure if it works

How does the battery cover look and does is add a lot of bulk to the phone itself? Picture that amazon has sucks nuts.

im not really a fan of extended, I bought the nexus because of its shape compared to my old htc evo and evo 3d. Wish they could of made one that was slim

That battery is 'only' a 2300mAh, and the stock one is 2150mAh (IIRC). So it's not really that big of a difference. But if you prefer to have a spare battery, I guess that one would do just fine.

Any other replacement battery ?

I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a tea-spoon than buy that monstrosity and use it on my phone. It will make the phone about twice as thick and it will look like a fat-ar$ed-mo-fo too. Plus it won't fit into ANY cases available so you'll be risking extra damage to your phone. AND it's listed at almost $100
Just buy a second, normal, battery and carry that with you for the occasions when you do need it.

i bought many items at this store, it always ships and arrives, make sure you make orders under 22 dollars, i heard above that you will get custom fee's and shipping is only 1 cent so it doesnt matter

Good battery, but I worried that with the replacement cover we may lose the NFC feature.

Yeah, I just did some research and although its much less then actually rated, the fact is that its always better then original battery and also cheaper.
So even if they write 400Mah, is not important, but the price and actual performance is.
If I get even 1H more from 15$ battery, it was already worth it.

the golden batterys with more mAh tested on other smartphones showed thats it dont last longer, even shorter !. maybe a cheap solution when the original ist broken.

My battery can last for 15-18 hours a day, with quite active usage on whatsapp, xda-apps, facebook, internet browsing, phone, do some stuff on S-memo, polaris office, and email, plus sometimes camera if I find any object for my work purpose.
I don't like to listen music from note, and only play (very very seldom) game.
The battery enough for me to last on outdoor usage (without any need to bring charger).
Screen, as some users has posted on other thread, some of the note device do have a bad blackclipping.
Mine is one of those bad blackclipping screen user.
I did once want to make a complain to Samsung. But damn it.... In front of the service center representative, the blackclipping just gone like that, and I fail to complain. :silly:
After fail to complain, I use the method here (credit to betoNL), to reduce the blackclipping.
And now, on my device, I use the 240 dpi mod, the black clipping issue is actually reduce to the max, almost gone.
But if I were you, I will wait for the Note 2, and compare it on hands before buying it.

The battery life on the note 2 will be significantly better and the gpu may also be faster. JUST because it will also be the mali 400 doesnt mean itll be at the same frequency.
The note 2 will be better than the note in every way except screen resolution and pxel density. For most people who already own a mode these improvements are too marginal to really matter. The change from the note 1 to note 2 is pretty similar to the difference between a 2013 car and a 2012. Not worth an upgrade if you already have a note 1 but waiting for note 2 maybe worth it. It all depends on pricing really.

Don't know about stock kernel, but stock 4.0.4 rom and latest Hydracore kernel (OC) is fast on my device. Battery life is similar to my GB experience similarly on my usage.

since note 2 has quad core cpu and 2 gb ram... i would have gone in for that

The most important thing you'll have to keep in mind is that this battery is thicker than the original one. Therefore your device will also be thicker and I don't know if that is pretty handy for you.

Noticed Hyperion may offer a 6000MaH battery in the future for the G4 likes its predecessor.. but that adds significant bulk to the phone.. anyone seen anything that's smaller in the wild? like a 3500-4000Mah battery? would be awesome without the added bulk perhaps.. :angel:

That would be a much better idea, but then again it all depends how the phone behaves with an aftermarket battery. I have been wanting to get the hyperion and see how much the phone lasts, for sure about 2 days with insane screen on time

I don't know. I think I might wait until I see something from known manufacturers. But feel free to buy it and let us know. Also, I don't like that it's only 500mAh more than what I have already. I wanna see a 4000mAh or 4500mAh before I put my money down.
