Noticed Hyperion may offer a 6000MaH battery in the future for the G4 likes its predecessor.. but that adds significant bulk to the phone.. anyone seen anything that's smaller in the wild? like a 3500-4000Mah battery? would be awesome without the added bulk perhaps..
I would like to see that.

That would be a much better idea, but then again it all depends how the phone behaves with an aftermarket battery. I have been wanting to get the hyperion and see how much the phone lasts, for sure about 2 days with insane screen on time

thinking of getting it but it feels a little too good to be true given the price.. what do u think?
I don't know. I think I might wait until I see something from known manufacturers. But feel free to buy it and let us know. Also, I don't like that it's only 500mAh more than what I have already. I wanna see a 4000mAh or 4500mAh before I put my money down.

Do you see a noticeably difference and increase in battery life? It seems a little expensive though.
Oh yeah and does anyone know where I can get a white battery door for my 4X ? I have a black one but a want a black and white look

That battery is 'only' a 2300mAh, and the stock one is 2150mAh (IIRC). So it's not really that big of a difference. But if you prefer to have a spare battery, I guess that one would do just fine.
Any other replacement battery ?

I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a tea-spoon than buy that monstrosity and use it on my phone. It will make the phone about twice as thick and it will look like a fat-ar$ed-mo-fo too. Plus it won't fit into ANY cases available so you'll be risking extra damage to your phone. AND it's listed at almost $100
Just buy a second, normal, battery and carry that with you for the occasions when you do need it.

Yeah, I just did some research and although its much less then actually rated, the fact is that its always better then original battery and also cheaper.
So even if they write 400Mah, is not important, but the price and actual performance is.
If I get even 1H more from 15$ battery, it was already worth it.
the golden batterys with more mAh tested on other smartphones showed thats it dont last longer, even shorter !. maybe a cheap solution when the original ist broken.
i was wondering what is the best battery for note n7000 to buy
cause now there is many batteries but i don't know which is the best

I have the gold one. No difference from the stock one except the fact it lasted a lot longer.
Stock died less than one year. Gold still works fine (1,5 years now)

Go for Mugen ones... they are awesome!!!!
http://mugen.co/?r=1&data=mugen+battery
I have the 3030 mAh gold and its a bit worse than the stock one. Gotta get the 5400mAh mugen battery since it has a leather pouch included aside from the bigger back cover! But i believe 89.50$ are a bit much for these... Wish it said 39.50$
Extended batteries' back cover nails are easly cropped, so u may have to search a new backcover when it happens. it happened that to me.
Don't buy on first link, it is NOT 7000mA. Also expensive.
On second link, "mugen" has "reputation", but dont know of that battery's quality/condition.
Don't buy on third link, in generally merely 3000-3250 mA.
Don't but "gold" ones. Not worth it.Not 3030 mA.
Take a look at that:
http://m.ebay.com/itm/370602365155?nav=SEARCH&sbk=1
i'm using 2 of this now(for 5 months till now) and totally perfect, have original battery performance. Came from Germany. phone will remain slim.
My friend using polar cell battery for her s3mini and very pleasant, so polar cell is good to go up to now for me.

Hey all,
I have had my Nexus One, since it came out, in fact it was given to me by Google themselves, I love the phone, and thanks to a combination of treating it well, screen protectors and an Otterbox Commuter case it is still in absolute pristine condition and I don't want to part with it. I have also put Cynogen mod on it and a top of he range 32-gig SD card, so it does everything I need.
Also I am on a great sim only contract with 3, and don't want to change it to get a phone from three, when I already love the phone I have.
However the Battery is starting to fade and I need to replace it, and after looking over the web I see that there are a lot of rubbish one's out there and it is very easy to get duped.
So I was wondering if any of you kind folks at XDA developers have had any positive experiences of buying a new battery for the Nexus One.
I would be happy with standard 1400Ma replacement, but would ideally like to increase this a little bit, but don't want to change the back or look of this classic phone in anyway.
I would like to thank you for you time in this matter, and look forward to hearing your lively replies.
Kind Regards - Ashe.

Hey thanks for the reply, much appreciated, however any chance you could post me a link to a reputable dealer, and do either mugen or anker do a battery that fits under my original cover but has a genuine greater capacity than, the stock 1400Ma Battery,
Kind Regards Ashe
I would just check eBay or amazon, there is plenty of security there. And yes both out perform the oem and are the same size

Thanks Old Sport, have ordered a 1600Ma Mugen off Ebay, hoping to get a little better battery time off this one than the original, and that after I upgrade my ROM to Kit Kat, it will give my phone at least another 18 months of serviceable life, (really don't like the current crop of giant, android phones, always thought that the Nexus one was the perfect size compromise as well as a design classic)
Kind Regards - Ashe
Just wondering these battery's on eBay gold ones that are I think 2500 is do they last longer and worth buying or not , want some reviews or tips . Thanks dragoncurt

The most important thing you'll have to keep in mind is that this battery is thicker than the original one. Therefore your device will also be thicker and I don't know if that is pretty handy for you.

Well, I am still waiting for my 3600mah battery from ebay : http://www.ebay.com/itm/3600mah-Ext...axy-S-3-III-S3-Mini-i8190-Black-/360674611167 and can't share personal opinions about it, but take a look at this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2091111. There are screenshots of how much the battery lasts, and a lot of good feedback on it.
@GXGOW is right, though. It makes your phone look like a Nokia from 10 years ago

I have both, trying to figure out which I'll keep. Probably staying with the G4. I love the screen and speed of the N6, but the G4 is just a lot easier for me to carry without falling out of my shirt pocket and looking like I'm carrying a book in my pants pocket. They're both awesome devices. The battery life on the G4 is a little better.
Sent from my SHIELD Tablet using Tapatalk
We picked up the g4 for my wife about a week ago. She had an HTC m9 and she did not like it at all so we went with the g4. You can take advantage of the free SD and free extra battery + charger promo from LG as well (ours is otw [emoji14] ). All in all it's a pretty sweet phone. It's very fluid, nice screen, surprisingly good feel in the hand, the camera focus is ridiculously fast and the camera UI is a delight. I'd have to say the battery life is a bit lacking. Granted we have different usage styles but I'd say I'm a fairly heavy user of my phone but I end there day (8 am - 7 pm) at about 20% give or take. She rounds out the day at 5-15% and with the occasional quick charge in the car or at the office.
It's definitely a more compact phone and for anyone shopping around for a smaller phone with an SD card and removable battery this is the phone to get.
How it stacks up to my Nexus 6, I'd have to pass on it. I'd love an SD card and I'm indifferent about the removable battery. While the G4 is fluid, and it is, the nexus 6 has been a delight. Not without its flaws, screen brightness in direct sunlight being the main flaw that comes to mind.
Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
I have both and I switch between phones daily. I love the g4 but the freedom of a nexus phone is just unreal. I think if the g4 ever gets unlocked and root which it seems like it will. I wont be switch so much. nexus phone is way smoother right now though due to LG software and bloat. Screen is nicer on LG though
Which phone feels snappier/faster though?

Yep. We have a well known brand of fish fingers called "Nexus 6". I bought the phone by accident. I thought I was buying premium fish fingers. I was a little disappointed but after trying to grill it, it seems best to use it as a phone.
The g4 has a much snappier camera truly a 1 second reaction time. However the nexus is much smoother experience all around.
I haven't tried to fry mine but now I'm tempted...

I have both the Nexus 6 and G4 right now. I'm testing out the G4 to see if I'll keep it over the Nexus 6. I love the Nexus 6 but boy does that phone get warm, and take OK pictures. But focusing time REALLY made me lose a lot of shots this past weekend. So I went onto Amazon and got myself the G4.
Screen is strange on the G4... After having the Nexus 6, it just looks tiny! But hte device is way more pocketable. Audio quality on the G4 is acceptable, but good on the Nexus 6 (and not to mention, stereo!). Battery life is a big one for me, too. The Nexus 6 also has OK battery life, but standby is bad. I rooted, greenified, App Ops, custom kernel, disabled services- still couldn't get home with more than 50% battery life and 20 min of SOT. It's an AWESOME phone, but it's not perfect, and far from it. But the thing is, I spend a lot of my time in the camera... So... It makes sense for me to test the G4. I detest Samsung devices now, so I wouldn't use an S6 or S6E even if they gave it to me for free (I'd accept it... Sell it... Profit!) haha.
Anyways, I'll chime in more if you'd like in another day or so.

If you get bad standvy time it is you at fault. Either got some crappy app runing in the background or some account synchronizing every 15 mins. If none of that, then check google now. Might be the reason why google play service stays on and sucks battery in the background.

I'm returning my Nexus 6! No question... Yes, the Nexus 6 feels more premium and has better speakers. But camera and battery life are what I need most. Standby time on this device is incredible. In the same time that my Nexus 6 would drop 30% my LG dropped 10%. Right now, it's been over an hour with the device unplugged and I'm at 99% with 15 min SOT. Camera is good, but in good lighting they're very very similar. If someone is interested, I can post the pictures comparing them.
The screen is smaller, yes, that's a negative point for me. But it's not like that was a surprise! Lol. I knew it was a smaller device from the get go... Even so, the G4 is considered to be a larger device xD it's just smaller compared to the Nexus 6!
JW- is there a way to do auto on lens aperture time? I have it now set, and it never "resets" haha. Or is it something that they think I should ALWAYS do myself?
