Faced a problem with HTC One 64gb dev \ ViperOne 4.1\4.2\4.3.0 rom
Im using Motorola Elite Flip headset and when im using it with HTC One all my friends saysing, that quality is horrible, echo, noises...
I thought that ive a bad headset, but today ive decided to try it with my girlfriends' HTC One V...its amazing...everything is ok.
Ive tried again with HTC One and give her my phone and heatset, when i called her from another phone. Ive barely heared her, echo, noises...
So i guess its issue with bluetooth in HTC One. Anyone has such problem?
BT working fine with SmartWatch, so i guess it must be profile-related, or just cause it has bluetooth 4.0

I always had bluetooth issues using any developer edition based OS
And I always had to revert to a .401 or .502 based software to correct it.
mostly all the roms available now are based on the DE .1540 base

bluetooth headset works fine for me... I'm using the Moto Boom, with PA 4.4.2. Perhaps try running a non sense rom and see what happens.

I also love sense, but i also got a mic problem. But i know a workaround: Just dont use sense! It runs like dog **** anyways.
I solved the problem. Flash the rom, let it boot...after that, boot in recovery... wipe cache and dalvik (i did it 3 times). Boot it again, and just lower the in-call volume a bit.... it works for me now...no problems
Aca902, Are you still using Nexus Sense 2.1?? Did the outgoing microphone issue occur again, since your post above??
No, im using cm7 now. But it didnt occur again...
Aca902 roughly how long did you use nexus sense 2.1 w/out experiencing the call-out issue, following what you did in the above post??
Thanks for the replies...just curious.

Link to the thread of the sense 2.1 rom? Also, if it was my port of Cool Sense 2.1, it has a special mic fix included (thanks to Iperzampem0 for letting me adapt it)
Race55; I have the Nexus s 4g. just noticed the same mic. problem in this thread as to the problem I was having w/ nexus sense 2.1. Does Cool Sense work on nexus s 4g? I assume not, but just curious. Just really like the nexus sense rom, but can't use it as a daily driver due to the microphone issue.

Holy ****. You are in the wrong forum. Go to the nexus s forum. This is the Nexus One forum. Roms from the nexus one will not work on the s.
Sent from my HTC Flyer P512 using XDA
I know I'm in the wrong forum...No ****, just thought the same issue might have the same resolution across different devices.:cyclops:
Hi guys, was hoping for a little help here. I'm sure there are many HTC ONE users here from the UK, I'd like to know which radios are working best here in the UK, I'm currently on 3 Network, but have been experiencing poor mobile Internet signals recently and slow down load speed. HOPING that users of the HTC ONE in the UK could provide links to the best UK radio
i've been using the Google Edition radio and they all seem to be the same for me on Three. which one are you currently using?
I'm using the new GE radio and I think it's the best yet, here is a link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2342544
Currently using 4A.17.3250.14_10.39.1150.04L on O2.
What akes the GE Radio so good?

I was having problems with the signal on my phone while making and receiving calls with the radio that came with the latest update so I first flashed the radio from the GE 4.3 rom and noticed an improvement and signal problems so I then did the full conversion to GE rom and firmware.

Yeah Nexus, same for me - Ive tried around 4 radios so far and to be honest, I dont notice a great change in reception or speed in any of them, at the minute im on Google Edition 4.3 4A.18.3263.15_10.38h.1157.04L, which I believe is the latest GE Radio, but had hellish problems with internet last night in a low reception area ( 1 bar ), mobile internet was on/off - on/off constantly , but could make phone calls fine, anyway guys thanks to all of you for your input and it may be worth posting links in this thread in future, just to keep us uk users running on the best possible radio/
thanks added to all who posted, cheers guys
@ maxal, may have to try a full GE Conversion , but love ARHD so much lol
Hey guys,
I have my One since release day, or so. I did S-OFF and rooted it. I was really happy with the speaker volume level. But since a month or two, I noticed that they were WAY weaker. First, I didn't cared about it. I told myself, HTC will fix it, I guess. Well my guess was wrong. I work at Virgin Mobile, so I tried a stock one to compare the volume of both. I'd say mine is at LEAST 50% weaker than the stock one. I don't know if it's related to my firmware flashing or the kernel or/and ROM. I did flash to the latest firmware, wich is 3.62.401.1. Currently, I'm on ARHD 31.5, but I'm trying Insertcoin and RENOVATE (if Insercoin is ot working either).
Any ideas what happened? Maybe my speakers blowned up^

Is the stock phone you tried out at Virgin Mobile running 4.1.2?
Last I remember, HTC lowered the max volume threshold on the front speakers in the 4.2.2/4.3 updates to avoid causing any hardware damage from excessively loud volume. You can try using the soundmod PureXAudio (comes as an optional add-on in ARHD) to see if that increases quality/volume.

I have experienced this same thing, I don't think PureXAudio really makes a difference in overall loudness.
Our demo runs Jellybean 4.3. My boss's phone is on 4.3 too and sound louder than mine, maybe between mine and the demo one. I did tried PureXAudio, wich I think is a pretty darn good mod. Didn't worked. I wonder if I could flash 4.1.2 sounds drivers without making my phone going into a endless bootloop. I did try some mods, but I always ended with this damn bootloop.
Ok so I just updated my Sprint HTC One to Android 5.0 Lolipop and about 24 hours later my bottom speaker is not working at all. I have not dropped the phone and I have not seen/heard signs that my speaker is fixing to blown. I am wondering if this is a hardware or software issue. I am waiting for a response from HTC about this. Any help will be very appreciated.
i'm having the same issue, except i'm on an ATT htc one with ARHD 90.0 ROM. Have you found a fix?

try this, if this doesnt fix it then I dont know, huess you'll have to wait to hear back from HTC, please post their answer, but they are not going to cover a custom rom at all: http://www.htc.com/uk/support/content.aspx?id=7652
It doesn't have anything to do with the browser, and i don't have, let alone use, Chrome (for me at least)
Same here, I did not notice it till now, I have been playing with different roms, and also Zero infinity and intense blast...I will try to troubleshoot and share results here.
I want to run Albion Online on my phone, what is the best ROM? The most light and safe?

I do have an HTC M7 Developer Edition currently running on LineageOS (Nougat 7.1.1) and by far is rock solid and pretty light, no errors, force close, nor any other kind of bug so far.

Haha, try bluetooth or do a call with speaker and end the call. Next calls dont have sound. By the way, you cant have a dev eddition and running LineageOS because the only thing what makes a m7 to a developer eddition is the software which you changed to lineage ;p

I had the idea this forum wasn't accepting trolling teenagers.
Everything is working fine with that ROM for me at least, bluetooth, speakers, loudspeaker, LTE, camera, you name it, that's why I said I've had no problems at all so far.
By the way, the unit I own is a Developer Edition, not Developer Eddition.
Try harder next time. :good:

Sure and everybody else report the same problems with Android N Roms, no matter which N Rom. And think about your comment with the trolling teenager, you are the one that trolls for a typing error. Enough OT now.
