USB Port Issue? - Sprint HTC One (M7)

I'm running CM11 and lately I haven't been able to charge my phone unless it's off. If i plug in the usb while the phone is on, the phone goes into car mode and does not charge. also, i was making a phonecall and speakerphone would randomly turn on and off. It sounds very similar to the issue outlined here : http://www.cloudave.com/23013/andro...-bluetooth-volume-fail-micro-usb-design-flaw/
I've tried cleaning it but the problem still persists. Any ideas?

[Q] problem :Wake up the screen Without pressing a button

some times my phone will turn on light and turn off continues 5 secs .i am facing this problem in original and custom roms some times .when i reboot phone it will normal. can any one help me regarding this problem ?
Hi,
Have you checked if a rogue app working in the background wasn't responsible for this ?
check to see if the phone goes into charging mode and off charging mode all by itself, even when not even connected to the charger cable. if that is the case, I have the fix.
So when the phone wakes up and makes a charging sound, see if it really thinks its in charging mode and off again.
How about wipe to factory setting, than check and test.

[Q] Charging issue connected to car stereo USB

Hey all.
I plugged my phone into my friends car stereo usb yesterday to charge it, and it kept connecting/disconnecting rapidly, going from charging to charging about twice in a second repeatedly. The only way I could get it to charge is if I shut the phone off.
Any ideas of why this would be?

Insufficient current output from the stereo's USB socket would be the obvious guess.
Is this going to be an issue with all car stereos made before the HTC One though?
It wasn't JUST the charging that would start and stop rapidly. The USB Connection and Debug Mode would connect and disconnect at the same time, like the connection was actually being turned on and off.

I have this same problem with my girlfriends HTC One. When I plug it to charge from the car's dedicated USB port for charging it just connects/disconnects over and over.
Never had this problem with the Note 2 or my Nexus 4 and 5. They charged no problem.

Xperia Z(L) charging when he wants...

Hello guys, about two days ago after charging my phone normally I used it for the day, when I got home I tried to connect it to the PC to edit some files and it didn't connect, tried plugging it to wall output to charge, nothing. I tested it with 3 different OEM cables, and nothing... after a while of being connected it started connecting, disconnecting, and so on... a couple of minutes after I disconnected it and connected it again and it started charging normally, this happens while turned off or on... but sometimes when I disconnect the cable and plug it back in again it will stop charging again and repeat the same story.... a weird thing is that when i try to enter flashmode or fastboot mode on pc it will work at the first try so, is this a port problem, battery problem or software problem (i don't think it would be a software problem though) since it has been charging normally before this happened)?
water can cause these problems check inside the flap if a white sticker exists
try using another charger not just the cable

Htc one acting strange after repair

My htc one m7 started getting trouble charging a while ago. The USB cable had to be just in the right angle, sometimes it would drain battery with charger connected. I figured the charging port was broken and took it to a repair center. I got the charging port replaced and while the phone was opened up, got a new battery as well.
Today I got my phone back and a number of strange things are going on:
The phone will not charge when turned on. It does charge when it's off but with a short interruption about every minute.
I have a car charger with an LED indicator that lights up when it's plugged in to the car lighter plug. I can pull it out of the car and connect it with a USB cable to my phone and the LED will go on.
When I make a phone call the call will start on speaker mode. I have to tap the speaker icon to go back to the normal handset mode.
Especially the second one is very odd. Apparently the phone is providing energy over the USB port. Could be something related to USB otg functionality though. Has anyone experienced something similar before?
Do you guys think I can solve this with through software or is it something that can only be fixed by taking it back to the repair center?
Update: I just tried factory resetting and flashing an RUU. Neither of them had any effect on this behaviour. Anyone got a clue what could be the problem?
