Hey.
This is the moto x threads (xt10--). Search for RAZR HD on here at XDA, there are countless guides for unlocking the boot loader there and flashing. I had an xt--- phone so if you need help, or need to be pointed in the right direction, let me know

My brother has this phone, and it is unfortunate that it is stuck on Froyo. I would like to help him out with rooting, unlocking, and flashing roms, but i'm not sure where to start. I have a Motorola Photon 4g so i am not new to flashing, however im not used to how to do it on his phone. If someone could point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated. I would like to get him to at least ICS or JB if it is possible.
Try with SuperOneClick, download the latest version. Maybe work

Hello! I would like to make a custom rom for mi razr i, I have already searched in the forum and found many posts about how to make custom roms but I don't know if its the same with the razr i because of its x86 processor. Someone knows about this?
Greetings from Mexico!

Hello Everyone.
I updated my HTC One to the latest version and now I want to unlock the bootloader and install a custom ROM. My question is can I still unlock the bootloader on the latest version or did they break the unlocking process?
I want to put a custom ROM on there but obviously I do not want my phone bricked. I am NOT new to custom roms but this is my first HTC device.
Thanks for your quick replies.

Hi All,
I'm new to Xda developers forums, pardon me asking. I did was follow the SlapMyMoto/RockMyMoto thread and had sucessful rooting on stock kit kat at&t. I searched the threads for custom recovery for 4.4 since safestrap is not supported on 4.4.
Any one know which custom recovery works with, device is not unlocked bootloader.
Thanks in advanced!
No unlocked bootloader, no custom recovery.
I'm using safestrap fine on 4.4, but I'm still on a 4.2 bootloader.

Don't you have the T-Mobile US branded variant of the Z (C6606)? If so, you cannot flash any custom kernel as your bootloader cannot be unlocked. (I know your signature says C6603, but the model number changes if you flash an unbranded rom).
To check for yourself if your bootloader can be unlocked, enter *#*#7378423#*#* in the dialler, then look in Service info, Configuration.

So does that mean I can't install roms either?? I can boot into recovery and all that

You can flash stock based roms only. Anything that requires a custom kernel (CM/AOSP/AOKP/PAC etc) are not able to be flashed on a locked bootloader.
