[Help] HTC One Stuck in RUU Screen - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
Usually I don't need to post for help by I am desperately in need of help I was updating my device to the 4.4.2 Sense ARHD Rom and was flashing the firmware zip and the fastboot errored out and now it is stuck on the silver HTC screen and fastboot is not recognised. When running fastboot it just says waiting on device. Any help would be great.

Hold the power button down for 20 to 30 seconds. The soft key lights will flash several times, and the phone will shut off.

HTC One Bricked...Please help!

My phone was rooted and I tried installing the update to my HTC One Developer Edition. The device is now stuck on the black screen with HTC logo in the middle and 4 exclamation points (in triangles) on the 4 corners. I tried running the RUU but it can't find the device and when I try to run it via the command prompt using the zip file I get the error code "failed (remote 90 hboot pre-update please flush image again immediately)." Does anyone have experience with this and is there ANY way I can unbrick my device without sending it back to HTC for repair!? I'm really frustrated but thanks in advance.
EDIT: I also can't get into the bootloader by holding down power down and the power button. It just reboots into the same screen.

You can power off your device ?
If so, try to hold vol down, hit power to power on your device and do not release vol down.
If not, I just can tell you to wait it's run off battery, plug it in and do what i said. I had more or less the same issue and i have managed to go into the bootloader.

No I can't power down the device. I can reboot it but it just reboots into the same screen. When you say you had the same issue, you let the battery run out and then did what exactly?

Touchscreen in Recovery not working

So I was going to install the InsertCoin 3.0-3 ROM and decided to update to the 2.24 firmware first. I changed the CID (I have the AT&T version) to 11111111 and installed the update as follows
you can flash it from fastboot
adb reboot bootloader (or reboot to bootloader via APM)
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip firmware-2.24.401.1-custom.zip
after it finish YOU WILL NEED TO RUN IT AGAIN
fastboot flash zip firmware-2.24.401.1-custom.zip
You should see successful at the end. Now type:
fastboot reboot

Rebooted into recovery (TWRP 2.5) and the touchscreen doesn't work. Eventually, the TWRP lock screen comes up and of course, I can't unlock it because the touchscreen doesn't work. I know the phone isn't frozen because after 30 seconds or so, the screen will turn off. Pressing the power button will turn the screen back on and the time/battery changes.
Holding down the power button makes the back and home button flash, but does not restart the phone. Holding down power+vol down does the same thing.
What do I do now? Fastboot and adb don't work so I can't restart that way

REASON:- THE NEW FIRMWARE HAS MODIFIES TOUCH SCREEN DRIVERS(its a known problem with TWRP v2.5.0.0)
SOLUTION :- press and hold power+volume and keep it pressed for almost a minute(the back light flashes 11 or 12 times turns of and then you will reboot)
Do this again or even one more time!!(also try simply power button for long)
it does the trick

I am stuck on this as well (HTC One [M7] Sprint running TWRP 2.5.0.0) and the power button + volume (ive tried both) doesnt seem to reboot the phone. Is there another solution to reboot or do i have to wait for the battery to run out of juice?

Stuck In Bootloop - Cant Enter Recovery

Hey Everyone,
Randomly woke up to my phone stuck in a bootloop. Im running Insertcoin 4.3 Sense edition, but I did try flashing GPE 4.4 without any luck. Reflashed the 4.3 and had no issues last night. Then this morning my phone entered this bootloop I cant get out of. I cant enter recovery do to the loop and when I get into the H-Boot menu it resets itself in like 4 seconds and enters the boot loop again. Its not enough time for me to get into fast boot to push anything though adb.
Any suggestions or am I screwed?

restart your phone with holding volume down than press and hold the power button. your button lights should light up. once you boot into h boot screen hit the fastboot selection as fast as you can. if you got into the fastboot try running this command with ADB.
fastboot erase cache
if that still doesn't work try
fastboot erase userdata
good luck let me know how it goes!

HTC One stuck in bootloop, can't access bootloader.

I have an htc one(m7) fully stock unrooted.
It is stuck on bootloop.. htc splash logo comes on for around 5 seconds and then reboots.
I tried getting into fastboot but it stays there for about 3 seconds and then reboots so I can't get to erase fastboot cache or flash new recovery or unlock the bootloader.
Help please anybody!!

So the bootloader is rebooting itself after 3 seconds? Not good at all....
Yes. Have tried everything including All button pressed for 30 seconds, volume down + power under a bright light. Nothing seems to work!
I had a htc one m7 for a year, unlocked and rooted with custom ROM and never had this kind of problem.

if the bootloader is rebooting itself, its most likely an hardware issue. You need at least a table bootloader to do anything. Sorry
Alright! Thank you for your response.

Please help !! Htc one m7 stuck in boot loop *not rooted*

Hello,
can anyone help me. My HTC phone m7 just had a count down and then shutdown for it self. It then began to reboot over and over and it never gets pass the HTC logo.
I tried:
1. going into the splash screen, but i reboots even when i do that. It happens so quickly i can't select fastboot, factory reset or anything.
2. Holding it close to a bring light and hard reset.
3. Waiting for 48 hours.
4. leaving the battery to drained and then hard reset.
I can't remove the battery. and when ever i put the phone to charge it keeps rebooting over and over.

First, try holding the power button for few seconds till kapacitive buttons start flashing. If that doesn't help, press power + vol down to get into bootloader, and then post everything written there

I tired pressing the volume+ down button but it goes into the splash screen, where I can choose fastboot or factory reset. But when I get there, the phone reboots before I can select anything.
When I hold the power button. I did this for at lease 2 mins. Nothing happens.

OK, what does it say on that screen? Under "locked"?
There should be h-boot version and OS version above fastboot and factory reset options. We need that info to try to help you

Download this .exe to your computer, reboot your phone to bootloader mode, connect it to your computer, and run the .exe. That should fix any software issues

OK thanks, I will try this later as I am at work now. But would this work even if the phone keeps rebooting? How would the pc drivers connect to the phone?

If it's in bootloader mode it should be fine. In order to run the .exe file your phone must be in bootloader mode. You managed togo into bootloader, so there should be no problem. If that .exe doesn't solve your issue, than it's safe to say it's a hardware issue
Hey thanks a lot this work for me.. at first I it didn't work but then I tried again and again and it did work thanks
