I was installing apps on my tablet via wifi. Everything was going fine then I started getting download failed error 927. So I disabled wifi on my Note 3 to eliminate the lan being the cause. After starting the mobile data connection I tried to update some apps on my note 3 and I am getting the error in it now. Tablet isn't an issue as I can wipe It easily. My note 3 on the other hand is different. I have tried clearing my cache. I also followed others instructions and uninstalled the play store update and wiped the data. I even changed my Google password. None of it seems to be working anything else I can do other than a factory reset.

You are correct it started working for me. Glad it was something on their end instead of mine.

Any app I try to download is telling me I require wifi. Anyone have any ideas what's going on? I'm kinda kicking myself for rooting now.

hmm my apps are working .. can you give an example of an app? i will give it a try..
Movies app is just 1 of many.

Right after rooting I tried downloading "QuickPic" and it did nothing. It said downloading app but it just did nothing. After I rebooted it started up again. Just a fluke maybe? Seems okay now.
EDIT: Tried downloading something simple like "Target" app. It froze up again for a couple seconds, started downloading at 5kbps and they shot up to complete. Laggy for sure.
hmm i am installed just fine in 4g areas... i did notice it seemed slow in a 3g area though...
just downloaded movies without issue.. rebooted and still there... are you in a 4g area? decent signal strength? otherwise i am out of ideas...
I'm in a pretty solid 4G area. Can I factory reset while rooted? I read that someone has done it.
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk
i had to do a factory reset root was still there and it solved my contact problem i created
Just rooted
Just rooted, downloads and installs fine from the apps market with both wifi or 4g.
Factory reset corrected the problem.
I just completed the Root'ing of my mobile. At first I tried getting on to the Market and using the browser, but couldn't get a internet connection. I powered down the Bionic and then turned it back on. Everything worked like a charm after that.
Hi.
Ive had this problem for a month or so now and ive tried reinstalling the play store, clearing caches, clearing the framework data, clearing store data and still I am unable to purchase on my phone.
This wouldnt be a problem normally since I still can buy apps and send them to the phone on a computer from play.google.com
However some games that have ingame content requires that you buy it on the phone.
When I try to purchase any app on the phone I get "Error. An error occured. Please try again".
Well I tried again aprox 17 trillion times and the same error always shows up.
Ive googled about the problem but havent found a solution.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Which rom do you use? In app payment works since 2.3. If i remember correctly, but i guess its not your problem.

My problem is that I can't purchase anything. Somewhere I read that Wiping would "solve" it. Thats not really practical is it now. Anyway I wiped a month ago due to some kernel setting i messed up and the Bug/Error appeared instantly or as soon as I tried to purchase my first app. Could be that it would have worked for a while after fresh install but dunno.
And wiping the phone to buy something off the market kinda beats the purpose. If Id have to wipe every single time I want to purchase something
To specify even further
It is not app-specific.
My CreditCard is fine and is working.
Rom is NovaHD RC22-41
Hmm maybe should try clean application data on Google Play, i have some problems with Google Play and data clean helps.

Also have this problem....can't buy.
I also have this problem.
I am using NovaHD RC22-41 now, but I have had this problem ever since I started using this ROM (at around RC10).
Same story as nuggeo. Full wipe several times, and cleared Play Store cache didn't help me.
Short update on the problem.
Ive cleared data/cache on Play Store and Google services Framework multiple times.
Uninstalled Play Store, Reflashed Gapps, removed my account, readded my account. Praid to the Google Gods and hold both fingers and toes crossed and still no.
Currently im getting an error code ( thats a first )
Error processing purchase [DF-BPA-13].
Quick googling showed some people with the same issue but not with a solution that worked for me or a lot of other people.
Any tips appreciated

Really wouldnt want to go back to CM7 but it did work on CM7 before I went for CM9 so it would probably work. But that isn't really a solution is it.
Update
As of now I am not able to even "purchase" free apps.
Guess its time for a wipe and hope for best.

Did the full wipe fix it?
I finally made it work for me.
I reinstalled my NovaHD rom, WITHOUT gapps. The I installed gapps manually.
Now I can buy from Google Play Store again!
same thing happened to me lots of times, fix i found was simply reinstalling the rom or kernel sometimes (happens with both) even without touching gapps...
Really strange problem I'm having. I'm logged in, I know I'm connected to the internet. But if I try to download anything from the Play Store (either a new app or an app update), then I get an error.
"Update for XXXX could not be downloaded due to an error (500)"
I tried clearing data/cache from the Play Store & Google Services Framework, even tried a Factory Reset. Still nothing is working. WTF is going on?

Good to know. After I posted that, I did one more factory reset and NOW it appears to be working...
Mine is doing the same thing. Just wait it out.

Same thing happened yesterday. It's a problem of play store servers. If it happens again just wait a few hours
About 2 days ago Cox and Facebook wouldn't work. This morning play store wouldn't load and neither would coc. Everything works on wifi though could this be caused by throttling as I'm on unlimited with 4 gigs used or does this sound like something else. I've already done a factory reset and problem still persist. Thanks for the help

Well for your first problem they have a little blue pill for that.
For all the other issues have you checked your APN settings? If you have and they are correct, then you need to call your carrier because that's on their end.
Hi, I've been having this issue all day after an factory reset and flash of the factory image. I can't log into Google now and keep getting a network error. Doesn't work on wifi, data, I've done a reboot, wiped cache, force stopped Google search. Nothing seems to work. Was chatting with someone on G+ who said he's having the same problem on his G4. Seems to be happening on new device setups and Factory resets? IDK, anyone have this problem? Thanks.

I did on my N5 but not on N6. Just did a full wipe and flashed 5.1.1 factory image this morning and it's been happening ever since.

I think it possible has something to do with the new thing where it signs you into apps such as Netflix automatically. My Netflix is setup to a different hotmail account and I think it may be the culprit...
I was having the same issue coming from M back to LYZ28E. I connected to my Wi-Fi at home and the message disappeared. It's been 7 hours already and haven't seen the message again. So I'm guessing that if you're seeing this message try connecting to a Wi-Fi. It might help...

I'm having the same issue. Flashed the 5.1.1 image as well. I was wondering if you flashed the non encrypted image?
Not sure this is related only to flashing M. I've had this same problem after flashing a couple of 5.1.1 ROMs and tried clearing cache for Google Now as well as rebooting, uninstalling-reinstalling Google Now, etc. what finally worked was I went into google settings and deleted card preferences. I was then able to successfully connect and get Google Now set up with the cards I wanted.

I flashed the encrypted version as well. I tried all the tips in this thread as well with no profit. hhhmmmmm is right. Lol. I need my google now... Hahha
Flashing the image file must have done something to my google account. I have lost Google now on all devices.

I searched on the Play Store as well under Google Search app and in the comments many have had the same issue. I heard if you setup a new user name / account it works. But i don't want a new account.

None of this is fixing it.
I'm.almost convinced is a lockout on certain email addresses. May have to call google. Just like one of the above posters said, I happened to all my other devices.
so now i am unable to sign into my phone at all.. not on stock 5.1.1 not on M... nothing... lol. my phone is a paper weight right now and there is no way im deleting my google account. idk what to do. lol. at all. google has me messed up right now. the phone continuously makes me resign in with no results.
So I switched ROMs and I lost Google now again. Turning on mock locations doesn't fix it. Try a different ROM, I was unable to sign in on a particular ROM as well.

ok... i am live again. i had to revert back to stock 5.0. lol. when i was on stock 5.0 everything worked perfectly, cards, syncing, etc. as soon as i took the ota to 5.1, upon boot, google now cards are borked??? but if anyone else runs into the issue of sign in loop like i did, revert back to 5.0 which was before all the crappy security changes that i dont care about. lol. and then disable the ota notification if you would like to keep google now cards.

6. After getting everything up to date. Reboot phone.
7. Press "google" on the search bar on home screen
8. Press get google now cards. Skip the sign in as you should already be signed in.
9. Profit
