So I want to ask very profound question to owners.
Tell us about your experience with gaming performance. It satisfied your expectation?

Hello. I would like to ask whitch ROM + Kernel gives best performance in games? Becouse now I barely get 20k points in Antutu... and fps is jumping crazy in 3d test. Does this has anything to do with throttling?
First of all I would like to say that benchmarking apps are a bunch of BULL! Don't rely on them. Complain only if you find lags/stutters in real gaming. But yes, throttling does effect it.
As far as ROMs are concerned, such threads are not allowed here. Head over to the android development section and see which suits you the best.
"What's the best" ROM/Kernel threads are not allowed. Please just try them for yourself.

I ve seen reviews etc and they said that this device is excellent at the time. Im considering of whether to buy this phone or a Galaxy SII. Im more into gaming and if Modern Combat 5 works flawless in this device, you'd got yourself a new member here in this forum. So is this phone worth to buy or the Galaxy SII? Im more focused into Gaming Performance and Battery Life and also ROM Development but i think that has been cleared off.
Can anybody share experiences with using this device? Is there any bad points of this phone as your daily driver? And gaming issues etc? Thanks

Can i also have the link for ROM development like for example, my daily driver is the Galaxy W and a Dev is working on updates, fixes, bugs on CM so other devs can reuse. Is there such for the Note? Thanks again

Let me share my experience!
You are a gamer? Hey mee too!
From my experience.. This device and Galaxy SII are mali device.. So from my experience, mali device wasnt too good for gaming..
I got constant lag on my note on MC4 games and bad graphics on modern combat 5
This mali device wasnt too good for gaming..
If you want a device for a gaming then i recommend you to buy a adreno device or tegra device!
But be careful with that specification.. You need to look carefully with their ram and their core..
Nowadays, we need a dual core and at least 1Gb ram to play a high end games.. Like modern combat 5 and asphalt 8..
So its all on your choice now bro..
I suggest you to buy a adreno device or tegra device.. PowerVR is good too at gaming but im not suggest you to buy mali device like SII and note or ace 2 cause it wasnt good for gaming
Have a nice day and im sorry for my bad english hehe

Really? I thought Mali GPUs are great for gaming. I've watched a guy (XEETECHCARE) who did a gaming review on MC5 on his Galaxy SII. Its not overclocked but it runs smooth. He's also impressed by the fps also. Sibce the Galaxy Note here is already oc to 1.6GHz, i bet its even better when gaming

Hi guys,
I am interested to buy this device. So the current users, how is your overall experience with it? I'll be mainly using it for gaming..
Your feedback will help me decide.. thanks
> I'll be mainly using it for gaming..
If gaming, go with the Masterrace.
Well, its a pretty good phone overall but if you're using it for gaming, whatever you do, do not get the 1GB ram variant. You can check out the gaming prowess of the 2GB variant on YouTube to see if its what you're looking for. Since I can't post links yet just copy and paste this in YouTube to see the video. XD

Greetings friends,
I am about to buy the Note 8. I am from Saudi Arabia, and the Note 8 we have here is Exynos.
But many guys claimed that SnapDragon version is better when it comes to battery
what do you think?
judging from GSArena, the Exynos version wins the battery war.. yet, I need some real-life experiences to cement this.
I am using Lenovo P2, the battery is insane here. But I am missing a lot of a good phone
thanks in advance guys
@haidar7
This is a great question and hopefully some of the details I provide can assist you.
Ultimately, in my opinion, battery life will be determined by your usage patterns and the applications installed.
In regards to metrics, which you are inquiring about, the Snapdragon comes out on top in overall performance:
