Hello people,
I have searched a lot on google en XDA to solve my problem, but i can't find it. The temperature of my Samsung Galaxy s GT-i9000 is to low, to be exact -7° degrees.
The problem is that i can't charge my phone now. The phone says: Charging paused. Battery temperature is too high or too low.
Can anyone help me, is would appreciate it a lot!
That's unusual to be honest ^^ , maybe if you put your phone ( or the battery ) in a worm place this problem will be solved , lol i can't even imagine what you've done to make it -7degrees ..
If the temperature of the phone is nrml and you're getting this msg for no reason u can reset it to factory settings , this will probably fix any software problems.
Good luck
i have reset a lot of times my factory settings. Do you have more solutions? (sorry for my English, i speak dutch) Thanks
did u flash any rom?
How old is your phone(battery)
Try a factory wipe,as suggested in the above post, maybe it's an app that caused the prob
I know for sure it's not my battery because had a other battery in it and it said the same. What i was forgotten to say was that my computer recognize my phone as a samsung galaxy, that is really strange. He doesn't want to charge.
Can you manage to get into recovery mode (by clicking vol up+home+power)? If you can, go to "advanced>wipe battery stats", and see if that fixes the problem.
did u flash any rom(kernel) if not, then I think your battery chipset is broken.
If u did flash any rom try format your system in recovery and flash a new rom first from cwm and if this doesn't fix then format again and flash a rom with Odin
Good luck
Yes i can it didn't work. Could a Kernel help me? Or has anyone have a link to rom which could help me?
Stock rom(jvu) get it from sammobile.com or search for darky's rom and flash this through ODIN.if u never tried odin then search and read how to use it
Thanks i'll try to install the darky rom. I tell you if it helps and when it doesn't i tell is also.
Have you flashed custom rom before? If yes try darky or something. If no is your phone still under warranty? If yes don' t flash anything and take it in. If no flash darky or other rom to see if you can resolve issue.

Thanx ,cos I never heard of this problem before,so it would be nice with a follow up
Hope u will get fixed.
Good luck m8
Sorry m8 it didn't work. I installed the darky rom and the problem is still there. I installed the Rom by CWM recovery. It couldn't work with odin
Could anyone help me with this problem?
Use darky's 10.2 TAR file this is flashable with Odin or any other .tar file.
@RAMAD rooted roms is tar and only flashed in Odin.search ramad
it diden't work. Could it be solved with a secret code or something? I don't think it is a hardware problem because i can connect with my computer.

Hi, did you find a solution to the problem? I have the same problem after leaving my phone in a hammock in the rain (probably not the greatest of ideas). The phone works fine, but won't charge the battery. My solution so far was to buy a separate charger to charge the battery (about $10 from Amazon), but if there is a way to stop the battery check that would be much better than having to take out the battery every day to charge it.

Svein

I'm having the same issue. It just started yesterday. Even with low use the phone gets hot and it won't let me charge it. I keep getting the battery temperature error. Even when it's powered off. I went into recovery mode as suggested by a previous poster and there is no advanced options that I can see. I'm not rooted and bone stock. Very frustrating. I've also tried another OEM battery to no avail.
HELP! http://forum.xda-developers.com/ima charging paused battery temperature too low

hy XDA's i flashed back via odin to stock firmware and i got this problem : when i plugin the charging cable it says that the battery is fully charged but in the lockscreen it shows the real battery % so what is the problem and is there a solution !!
Your charging limit in kernel might be corrupted. Do one thing. Charge the battery enough from any other device(if you don't have enough battery). Flash a stock Rom again or a custom Rom with updated kernel.
find some app in gstore to calibrate battery, its common error, next time, flash back to firmware with battery full charged
n here i thought i already told u to MAKE SURE TO BE CAREFUL WHEN FLASHING ANYTHING.

Ever since i got the phone and it's battery life sucks and i searched all the forums and tried every possible solution but with no luck, i have to charge the phone more than 2 times a day, the phone is running P88020c-AME-XXX and i'm really confused of what i should do
should i unlock the bootloader and install a custom rom and a custom kernel, and if i did will i be able to relock the bootloader and return to stock again?
or should i just flash a kdz file of a european firmware? and if yes which firmware should i flash? http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=15
Thanks in advance guys
Yours should probably tell us more about the usage of your phone. Do you play heavy games and are you surfing the internet all day long? If so there's no problem with your battery and you have to plug it in to charge most of the time.
If not, then your hardware may be buggy.
Then you should return your phone to the manufacturer for hardware fault.

Hello friends, a fellow gave me a razr i to see if I could unbrickear. The problem was so unknowingly had the bootloader unlocked phone and told him if he wanted through ota update and upgrade the middle of the cell died.
Poor to unbrick. Bat and not working.
Still not as dependent on or use unbrick.bat puts the legend known.
I want to know if there is any solution or cell is a total brick.
If battery is dead, open the phone, pull battery and charge it for a while with 12v DC adapter directly and then flash stock rom with RSD.
Wysłane z Motorola RAZR i.
I Unlocked my bootloader and installed CM 13, i had alot of battery drain on standby so i flashed the Stock rom 4.4.4 kit kat via fastboot, everything was running fine, then got a new ota update to lollipop, downloaded, then the phone reboot to install, everything was fine, i let my phone on the table and got in my room to use computer, and when i come back to my phone it is turn off and i can't turn it on again, it don't even charge, nothing, it's dead.
I know that is Hard bricked and there is no way to save it, i just wanted to know what that i did wrong?
Sorry for my bad english, it is not my native language.
