They're holding their own roll-out, not world-wide.
The fact that a carrier has completed its internal tests for an update does not mean Sony is waiting for that carrier to A-OK the update; it can merely serve as a hint that Sony has a firmware revision deemed satisfying for release to carriers.
not fun at all until it rolled out.
Another useless thread.

How can a carrier initiate a world wide rollout of an Anrdoid firmware? Of course Vodafone AU will only update devices with that carrier.

this thread is for these devices:

sony ericsson live with walkman
xperia active
xperia ray
xperia neo
xperia neo v

Thread was originally for xperia mdpi, but, making an off-topic for only 4 devices at this universal OT forum was not a good Idea..
Off-topic does not mean that everything its going to be WTF, we can ask things about these devices such as announcing something or asking something that includes all these devices.. for this type of things we have this thread (example: jelly bean for 2011 line notice) .. or simply start asking stupid things and trolling the thread.. you decide.

Just because an update might be rolling out for one particular device it doesn't necessarily mean all the Nexus hardware will be getting said update, so keep that in mind.
I haven't seen any mention of 4.2.2 recently, guess it'll happen soon enough (unless some people are trolling Reddit which is pretty common these days as the site gets more popular every minute).

I know for a fact that the first thing I'll be doing once I get it, is take a shower with it.
Just so I can boast that I watch the news in the morning ...

I am so scared to even try doing it but as soon as I get my screen protector and I am done with applying it properly then is the only time I will test it in water intentionally. I really don't want a 900$ device to be non functional for me even though I know it should handle it.
First thing I will do is accidentally spill something on it!
