Did you do a hard reset ? hold power + vol down for 15 seconds

Connect it to computer and open Device Manager. Does it show something like QHUSB?

Atrix Hd wont turn on!!!! please help!!!!

Yesterday my Atrix hd just went black in the middle of text message. Ive tried to hold down the power button and volume keys. Ive tried to hold down the power button and volume up button and the power button and volume down button. Nothing worked. Tried several different charges and this still didnt work. Finally i watched a video on how to remove the battery and when i did that and plugged the phone back in the green indictor light comes on but nothing else works. I have the cynafox 4.4 rom on the phone. Is this phone fried?? Can something be done???
Your description sound like it's fried (a.k.a. hard bricked). If you can't get it to boot on (even to a black screen), I believe your phone has moved on to a better place. If so, I'm sorry for your loss

Leave it on the charger for a while, it may not have enough charge to boot. Then try the power + v salute..
I'm having the same issue light was blinking but now it stays on solid

Try power + volume down while holding it near a bright light.
Sounds stupid but it can work in some cases, it's something to do with the proximity sensor stopping the phone from booting.
If that doesn't work then it's probably a hardware failure of some sort. When you connect it to your pc does it show up in device manager?

[Q] Xperia (T) solid red light while charging, even after discon. the battery??

What's up you guys,
I am new to this forum so i'm not that familiar with this site, but here goes:
I've got a Xerpia T which doesn't want to turn on or connect to the pc. This happened after charging it and it suddenly died.
When I charge it the red LED turns on for aprox. 10-20 sec. There is also a video on youtube with the same problem "Sony Xperia S won't turn on!"
I've tried different methods like the hard reset (vol+, startbutton), (vol-, startbutton), combo of the previous methods, Sony companion-method, charging it overnight, but no result. I've even opened the phone and took it apart, but still nothing. What I did notice is that when I discon. the battery and plug-in the charger the same thing happens. The red LED comes on and after a couple of seconds it goes off again. Does this mean that the battery is completely dead or is there antother problem? (i'ver already ordered a new battery) Thanks anyway!

possible reasons:
1.battery dead
2.hardware damaged
3.soft or hardbricked
for 3 you can save it....
first of all try:
pull out battery for 10sec
pull in (dont touch powerbutton )
while phone is off.... hold vol- (or +?) nothingelse.... then while holding connect it to pc...
if your pc recognises the phone and you got blue or green led your phone can be flashed
if nothing happens tr 3-5 times again...(just to be sure you made no mistake)
WARNING WARNING WARNING
ONLY if really nothing happens....do that:
pull out batterry
pull in
hold vol+ AND - at same time and connect to pc
if your phone is then in device manager shown tell me...

Just to be sure, we're talking here about a Xperia T which has an integrated battery.
What do I do when the device manager appears?

Unfortunately still the same red light. Isn't it strange that when I disconnect the battery and leave it disconnected and then connect the usb-cable the same thing happens as to when I connect the battery? Is there a way to see if the battery is dead or the hardware malfunctioning?

Phone does not power on or charge...is my phone dead

Phone does not power on or charge...i
I was out during the day and when I tried using my phone it wouldnt turn on. I thought maybe the battery was dead. I didnt think much of it. I come home and tried charging it and led light doesnt come on. Now I'm really worried. I've tried most of the tricks including
- Press and hold power for 2 mins
- Press and hold power + vol up for 2 mins
- Press and hold power + vol down for 2 mins
- Hold phone under bright light and press and hold power + vol up for 2 mins
- Hold phone under bright light and press and hold power + vol down for 2 mins
- Connect to computer via USB. Computer does not detect phone device.
- Removed SIM card and repeated steps 1-5
What else can I try? What can I do to check if my phone is completely dead. This phone is only 1.5 years old.

Go to your Windows devices manager then connect the phone and check if its detected as QHSUSB_DLOAD or anything else with "qualcomm".

Hey Alray! Good to see you here!
Sadly, even I have encountered the same problem as above, and have also tried the recommended solutions/steps, but to no avail. Also, I'm on an iMac. Any steps for this platform?
Without using a charger press and hold down the power and volume down keys for two minutes; release after two minutes, plug a wall (not a usb to computer) charger; the phone will flash a red (orange) light and reboot several times with the battery logo....don't mess with it, eventually it will go solid red (orange) and boot; the moment you get to your icons immediately kill the display. It may flash up a few times, just kill the display and let it fully charge. I about freaked out when I couldn't get mine started after misplacing it for months and finding it and it was as dead as dead can be, but it started after I looked up how to get it to start; hope this helps. Cute signature, almost true though!
