Hey guys, Ive got a Note 3 SM-N900T and i can't get into download mode.
When i do Volume Down + Home + Power a blue screen with "Factory Mode" appears for 3 seconds, then a weird korean text appears.

Something strange happened to my SGS about 3 times over the last few months.
1 – When I tried to use the SGS after a few hours lying on the table, the screen was blank even after pressing the Home button or power button. I tried calling the mobile from another phone it was not out of service but I heard no ringtone playing from the SGS. After a hour or two it just came back into full display.
2 – Couple of weeks earlier, I was charging the SGS and when I checked back the screen was blank. I tried pressing many buttons but it never came back in to full display. I removed the battery and put it back on and it started.
3 – Just yesterday the screen was blank when I checked in the morning. I pressed the power button for more than 4 seconds and did that again and then the phone powered on.
Has this kind of issue happened to any of you with the SGS?

Are you on any custom firmware at all?? I suggest....if you are, reflashing back to stock, then rooting again, then flashing custom firmware again, but before you flash custom, go to mounts and storage, format system, data, cache and datadata, then wipe dalvik cache too. Can you confirm whether you can enter download mode?? Cheers bud
Sent from my CM7 modded I9000. Kernel is one mean son of a Glitch!
I am not on a custom firmware. It is using standard Android 2.3.3 for Samsung Galaxy S. Yes I can do the three button recovery mode
1. Power Off
2. Press and hold Volume Up + Home Key
3. Continue holding those buttons and then press and hold power.
4. When you see the logo pop up release power ONLY
5. Keep holding two buttons from step 2 until you enter recovery mode.
I got the same problem.. It goes into the BSOD during a call or just after handup. I am on Darky's 10.2RE
My Note 5 has suddenly stopped working. I get a blue breathing light at the top, as well as a red one and at times no light. I have tried Volume Down + Power for 20-30 seconds, tried Volume Down + Home + Power and Volume Up + Home + Power... nothing whatsoever on the screen
Your display has deceased. I have the same problem and I will change the display to fix it
:| why this problem appear?(what did you do before it happen)
Last resort, Odin it.
Nothing was done... just woke up one morning with it dead. I have nothing whatsoever on the screen... I can get it picked up by ODIN but when I start the flashing process it doesn't do anything... just hangs there.
Hello,
I've read a lot of threads trying to figure this out on my own with no luck. No matter what buttons I try, I cannot get the Maintenance Boot Mode menu to appear so I can enable USB debugging. Has anyone had this issue before? I have the SM-G920A Galaxy S6 64GB (AT&T) model.
Here is what Ive been trying:
"Once the S6 is switched off, hold the Volume up, Home, and Power buttons down simultaneously.
Kept the buttons pressed down until the phone loads into the boot menu."
When I try the above, it just keeps booting up with the Galaxy S6 black and white screen over and over until I let off the buttons, then it boots up completely.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Jamey
i too same scenario my phone is a samsung galaxy note 4. My guess is that my service provider at&t will not allow me to access this function.
Hi,
Currently my Samsung Note 9 is stuck in a bootloop after trying to flash it. (Passed but died)
It is stuck in a cycle of Turning on and off - "WARNING: CMDline Parameter modified" with the "Samsung Note 9" loading screen.
I can't put the device into download mode - vol down + Bixby / vol down + bixby + Power - neither work!
Any ideas would be great.... Thanks in advance:good:

i remember back when the non-removable batteries (well, non removable by means which normies were accustomed to using at least) first cropped up in the forums and the "let the battery die and itll work" was laughed at. Those who laughed before arent laughing anymore. This is one of the biggest reasons i was ticked about the static battery launched in the S6. The "why does this bother you? all you need to do is a button press to simulate a battery pull" always baffled me especially when it came from devs

force reboot it with:
vol down + power
continue holding and the instant you see/feel it restart, do the DL mode procedure:
vol down + bixby while plugging usb from computer
its all about timing. get help from a friend for the DL mode procedure if you have trouble holding the buttons and plugging the usb cable coming from a computer.
what phone model do you have?
what did you flash?
Hey Everyone, Hoping you might be able to help me.
My Samsung Note 8 SM-N950U (Verizon) has been in a drawer for almost a year and a half now. I puled it out so I could use it to play one of my games while leaving my actual phone available for use.
Upon plugging in and trying to power up the device, it will only boot up tot he "Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Powered by Android" screen, then it starts over from the beginning. I've tried booting into the boot menu by holding the Power and Volume down buttons but it does nothing.
If I hold the Power + Volume Down + Bixby button, the screen flashes a sort-of "teal" color, but then flashes to black and I'm unable to read what might have previously been on the screen.
Any recommendations? Appreciate your help.
