after flashing the existenz rom did you flash the kernel in the stripped ftf?

i just normally flashed the rom and after the kernel , no ftf files involved

If u read the instructions on flashing the rom , it specifically states that after flashing the rom you should flash the stripped ftf (which contains the new kernel)
Try flashing the rom again but after flashing turn your phone off and put it into flashmode and flash the stripped ftf that can be found in existenz thread

[Q] [i9001] Wifi problems after flashing KKernel

Hello!
I flashed a new kernel for my smoothie rom. And when i go to the wifi settings on/off button is locked on. In wifi settings there is only a text "Starting WIFI".
I think it's not working because the kernel has lowered wifi voltage.
Does anybody else have same problem?
I'll be very grateful if someone would find a fix for this problem.
:good:
Only an idea:
Did you a restart of your device (after flashing kernel)???

I flashed Phenom Kernel v6.1 for 4.3, and wifi is not working anymore. Someone had the same problem there, I don't know how to change my router's channels. Any other ideas?
Ps. I would like to post to dev page, where this kernel is but I can't do that because I don't have over 10 posts in this forum. Isn't that pretty stupid?

Reroot ur phone and flash
Remember do your own experiments on your phone because its yours
So find a solution by yourself because no one has this problem
Blame Samsung I read somewhere that our phone got this problem
So try and try until u get it
i'm sorry to say you can't do anything about it... neither a developer can, as far as i know.. about 5% of s3 minis have this problem.... you just live with it, i do too

I tried lot of different ROMs on SP which includes MIUI, CM11, existenz, etc, etc but after 2-3 days of using always have one or more than one problem mentioned above! So I just flashed stock Jb 4.3 and Disabled lot of debloated apps from the Setting>Apps. Installed CLEAN MASTER app. Since the stock is best stable ROM therefore best battery backup no random reboot. Now waiting for the new firmware update for JB 4.3 which has already been released. I hope we are going to get it very soon and going to get a better performance! :good:
Please try Ultimate PureXSP and Ultimate BlackXSP
IMO Stock 4.1.2 is still fastest, just debloat it and it's perfect. I rather stay this and wait fixed 4.3 from Sony.

I found this in the Doomkernel post :
Xperia SP [C5302/C5303/C5306]
stock JellyBean 4.3 FW
.266 - v05, v05-new, v06
stock JellyBean 4.1.2 FW
.245/254- v02, v03, v04
.284- v01
bootloader unlocked
working fastboot
android app for overclocking like SetCPU (paid) or NoFrills CPU Control (free)
so how I can flash it and my phone is on LB ?
yes stock 4.3 got bugs but atleast the camera quality is far better then 4.1.2 whenever I install custom ROM or kernel to my Xperia SP its a kind of unstable i can't even run the full antutu benchmark it reboots at 21% no matter on what custom ROM/kernel i am running :crying: and system reboots frequently. Therefore, Now i flashed the stock 4.3 australia firmware and locked the bootloader now atleast i can run full antutu benchmark now matter how many times i run it! thats why stock is best with disabled debloated apps and obviously no Facebook app also!
We do not allow best/rom kernel threads on XDA. What's best for someone else may not be what's best for you. Best advice is to head over to the development section, try some out and see which best suits your needs.

[Request]Test miui v5 4.4 (kitkat), Confirm booting

Hey guys,
I'm currently trying to port miui v5 kitkat to ZR device, tried to port from IPWS one but get some audio service failure and boot failure because of that, so all I'm asking is: is this rom working for you Z guys? booting normally? no problems? can anybody provide a logcat for me of the miui rom that booting?
here's the link => rom.miui.com/en/download/view/id/359356
the link I gave you support only unlocked bootloader however I told the IPWS how to place shelld in init.d (in rom) instead of init.rc (in kernel) for locked bootlaoder so expect release for lb this week.
thanks in advance

I'm actually using miui 4.4 for a week now. Battery drain is here, WiFi hotspot reboot device. Stock camera and bravia present. Looks like it even can be installed over locked bootloader. I downloaded it from official miui site, English already was present. Also it needs to flash gapps over this ROM .

Hi,
I use AMCHA KK 4.4.4 and same issue here. I've found one way to reproduce it here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56246536&postcount=233
As you also have it on stock ROM, I assume it's a sammy issue.
EDIT : do you have stock kernel ?
@kenar2 : FYI

OK, so it's a sammy issue (or a very weird feature !!). We have to wait next official firmware.
Do you run I9305XXUFNI3 or I9305XXUFNJ1 official firmware ?
At the beginning i had the I9305XXUFNI3 and then i updated to I9305XXUFNJ1.
Both roms have the same issue but the fnj1 have better battery life i think.
