I just wanted to say thanks to all the Developers that have made this device so amazing,
I only know a few off the Top, Dhacker, Arrrgh(missing some letters I'm sure!) Epinter, SkeevyDude, and may others.
You guys have made this AHD an even more amazing device!
I totally agree with you. Even when this phone is not a latest high-end phone, they continue to make ROMs to it. Also TechnoFreak has helped the community, as well as CarbonDev. I'm pretty sure that there are a lot of more devs behind this, but yeah, they are all awesome.
The dev who makes my current daily driver is CyanFox. I'm rocking his 2.0.2 rom and it really made me begin to love my phone again and quit searching for any new ones. I hope that this phone keeps rockin' on!

Hi all first and mostly I want to apologise for not giving you a ROM, but due to recent activities here I decide to stop my work here and stop making ROMS for now.
For People who dont know already I was asked to cook for X1 and was donated a device which XMOO sent to me.
I also was working on HD AND WAS CURRENTLY TIED UP IN making a ROM FOR IT. I was also working on X1 ROM, but didnt have time between both devices and I stopped for awhile.
Since my last HD ROM ALot of stuff , issues, etc arise here on XDA and I was the main attraction, long story short ,
I given up cooking at the moment and I feel bad not making a rom for u guys, The rom I have still needs work doing and I cant support it if I release it as I have a lot of personal stuff I need taking care of.
I contacted XMOO about sending the device to him so you Guys can decide what to do with it or give it to another CHEF, ETC,
Once again my sincere apology especially for all those who believe in me and all my supporters but whats happened here has really put me off.
If there are any better advise on how to donate the device back to the community just let me know.
Thanks Dutty.
Sorry to see you go Dutty, best of luck with you and your family!
On a selfish note though, any chance you can release what you already have for the X1? Would love to try it, bugs and all, knowing that you wont be supporting it.
sorry to hear about this. this is a real loss to the community. hope you change you mind soon
any chance of convincing you to to realease your unfinished rom at least the cooks over hee can build on top of it.
oops....just noticed tjax reply
Like many others I was looking forward in trying your ROM for the X1.
With an ackward eye did I follow the stuff going on in the Blackstone forum and respect your decision to leave the forum, although it breaks my heart a bit.
Best of luck to you and your family!
Maybe we'll see you in the future....
If you could release the kitchen /sources to the X1 community, then maybe some other enterprising chef could pick up where you left off. I'm interested in learning the process behind creating a ROM but I'll be honest and say I wouldn't know where to start, even after reading some guides here on XDA-Dev.
Thanks for at least considering making a community ROM, and good luck with what you go on to do Dutty.
Goodluck to you and hopes everything turns out for the better. I know everyone was looking forward for your ROM here, and some just couldnt wait and start saying things they do not mean. All in all thanks for your effort...my suggestion regarding the X1 KEEP it until maybe one day you can bless us with your work.
The device should be sold and everyone who donated should get their money returned.
Dutty has quit. Bugger.... Might get an iphone? Gotta say, that Palm Pre looks pretty cool?
Wait for the Touch Pro 2 Clove is taking pre orders
Its a sad day and I hope to see Dutty back in XDA asap, but **** happens...
Maybe XMOO should PM everyone who donated for this, we could see together over PM's if there is someone else who we would think would benefit the X1 community so much, that we want donate the device to.
If we are talking abotu selling MAYBE I could be interested, but just maybe at this point... I would rather see it go to good use...
I was one of the donators and my suggestion is to sell the phone and donate the money to xda.
Well Im not 100% behind that... I have donated to XDA with my two usernames and will donate in the future, but this was meant to other use...
Wasn't Xmoo after a spare to do some Android work, maybe it could be used for that
Been following your work Dutty eventhough i own a Raphael.. well sad to see all the hecticness that were around. Well the best thing you could to is to take care of personal life first... xda forum will allways be here... good luck bro.. keep an eye on devs here so they don't go on wrong paths .. they might need your knowledge some times.. well anyway take care of your self first
Well Dutty all are behind you on this... about the X1 let Xmoo decide.
but i as all cooks here are very interested in your blackstone rom 1.9 and if that can be ported to X1, please please please contact me or any good chef out there and make a final contribute
that would be like, well lets call it religous
hey Dutty!
Im really sorry to hear that you're leaving. A sad day for the xda community!
I just wish you all the best and hope you'll return one day or if you're moving somewhere else let us know!
Thanks for your great roms!
So much has been said on the whole "Dutty Dilemma" (Someone should write a book about it! )
My first and last comment on it: Too bad it happened, Dutty has been wronged.
On the device, I'm not a donator, but I'd say let him keep it after all the crap.
If people strongly feel it must be sold, I'm a potential buyer.
Still hoping for Dutty to change his mind and put the X1 he got to use though.

im somewhat sure he needed one for siassambly reasons. to check hardware etc.
id rather have android on my hpone anyway but since i donated nothing ... let the donaters decide
@dutty
well to sad, ive never seen any of your roms since this is my first winmopho. but still, GL and have fun out there
The sad thing about it is that it wasn't the people on the xperia thread that were giving him so much hell. The people that donated the device to Dutty supported him the whole way. I would say at the least the people who donated the funds to get the device should get his beta rom.
Thats my last two cents
Let me 1st say a huge thank you to dzo and all the devs I have been following the vouge andoid from .9 - 2.2 from sd loading to nand flashing, from having to boot data in windows defore booting in to android, from the bule keyboard to rouge tools, and it has been a hell of a ride. The vouge was my 1st smart phone and I hated wm6 but android open up new doors, and hacking became a way of life. Im sad to say I was always in the background chicking for the next update, and never more then an end user. But everyone here always made me feel welcomed. I will miss my vouge thank you all for never letting it die and taking it places I never dreamed. I will miss all of you the most
however all things must come to an end, and im moving on with my new toy. I just picked a samsung galaxy s and will be joining that group. Thank you all again for last 2 years
Nate
Can we get a hip-hip hooray?
It's alright, boy. Some day most of us will move to another device. By the way, how did you get your Samsung Galaxy S? I want one used and cheap
Welcome to the sgs club
Hope you enjoy the new phone! Congrats!

Jamezelle, congrats on the modship!
I must say, going from my tilt with 2.2 to the sgs with 2.1 was a little bit of a disappointment but it's a great phone. Although I wish the community was as great as this one was.

hey Mssmison are you doing any development for SGS
i have the Verizon Fascinate and i know you are not in the US but i was hoping we might have a developer with you kind of back ground
if you bo build a Rom, will it work for Verizon (crosses fingers), let me know if you need any testers
got to dump this touchwiz crap they even build "bing" in to it
i never though i would see the day where "bing" would be the default search on an android
its so odd to go from 2.2 on my vogue to 2.1 on my SGS
that is why i will miss this group
everyone here worked so hard and got out updates so fast i think this is the best group on xda

i agree so that means we need to make it great
i just wish it was all one group because having it broken up by US carrier seams point less it would be easier for everyone to work together if it was one group
if you star developing roms and you need a tester for Verizon Fascinate let me know would love to get the SGS group working as well as this one did

i got my SGS from Best Buy in the US
and it was Free!!! which is the biggest reason i got this phone
Best Buy is running a deal where every Friday for the month of Oct. they are offering a different phone from each US carrier for free with a new 2 year contract
my contract with Verizon ended months ago and just like you i was waiting for a great deal because i was not going to pay $200 for a new phone when i had my vouge that worked great
I've also been following the development here. I am so very thankful for everyones hard work towards making the vogue as up to date as it can be. I last ran Incubus26Jc's Super FroYo 2.2 [Deodexed] [RLS15] before my phone broke. Somehow the charger I used at work fried the thing and I had to move on. I now have an xperia x10a. I have some mixed feelings about the thing but I guess it is upgrade enough. Anyway. Thanks again. I will still keep reading most of the stuff here on the vogue. That thing was pretty good to me.
when i see posts like this it saddens me because i know there is one less user to continue the legacy of the 6900. however it gladdens me that individuals will keep up with technology.
brings to mind a saying i got from my dad... all technology gets out dated - at that point we can chose to keep it alive for something else, or toss it.
he made that comment to me when my 486box turned Unix bit the big one via lightning strike.
good luck on your new journey sir- congrats on your new technology- may it suit you well.
I am going to be a lot and lot busy in my real life so I wont be having time to do stuff on xda as I was doing in past. I am also not sure for how many days/months I will be away from xda. Once I am again free then surely will come back and will provide you guys the same quaulity/unique stuffs as I have given you till today.
I remember in one of the thread I said - I am going away for a very long time and be assure I will update you all and then will go. So, that time has arrived.
XDA is a great place for me where I started as noob then learned a lot of stuffs (some by my own and some by sending PM to a lots of you). Then I got into REMICS team where I met with few of legends who are not a big name on xda but they have taught me a lots of things.
Slowly and slowly my title got changed to Recognised contributor and then Recongnised Themer all due to you guys. Thanks for all of your support.
Then I met with rodman01 who is too smart to do all the theming stuff and there we build few threads together. But believe me he was the who did most of the hard work and he got his Themer title in lieu of it.
I am sure this is going to be very difficult for me stay away from such a great site and I am sure I will return over here in few months (but I cant say exactly how many months).
Special thanks to few of the users over here (sorry for those whom I missed over here):
@monish1995
@rodman01
@kasper_h
p.s. - I will be rarely be checking PM so if anyone wants to have a word with me send me a PM and I will reply to you sooner or later but will reply for sure.
Thanks for all your support once again
erpurohit

Hi erpurohit,
Wishing you all the best!
Kasper
All the best with your personal life!
Hope to see you on Remics Administration though.
I was wondering when NRG would step into the HTC One development world and grace us with his presence? My HD2's heart no longer beats but he did amazing things with WM Roms and Android for that device and other devices as well. I just wanna see what he'd cook up for this wonderful phone.
Bit weird wanting an individual to get the phone and it's not like we know
You should probably at least tag that developer so he is aware of your concern. Otherwise, this thread is pretty much pointless anyway.
So I've had enough of the G4. It just doesn't support development and it makes me very sad. I've bought an HTC 10 which is arguably the most developer friendly phone right now. (besides Nexus of course) I'm sorry to be going as I really thought the G4 had potential. It's obvious now-it does not. If anyone would like to take over my development projects, (MellowMallow roms) please let me know. I'm still happy to help out, but will not be actively developing anything for the G4 any longer.
Miss you guys,
tabp0le
You're a great dev, Tabp0le. Currently rocking your ZVB ROM which is keeping this forsaken phone bearable to me. You definitely deserve greener pastures than this and am looking forward to trying whatever you develop for the HTC 10 which may be my escape as well.
Eff the G4, see you on the other side!
I agree! This phone is gone as soon as the new Nexus or Pixel phones hit the market! I am so done with LG that I will never own another of their products!
Ive been kickin my s6 pretty ritcheous phone but horrible bttery
Don't blame you, the G4 is awful. Can't wait until I can switch! Good luck to you.

Your decision is completely understandable. I am disappointed for those of us still stuck with our G4s, but know you will make a great contribution in the HTC forums. Good luck and God speed. Thanks for all your efforts.
