Remove ATT carrier text from status bar? - LG G Flex

Is this possible? I'm rooted, and wondering if there's an closed module or something to do this.
Thanks!

U have to install the xposed framework first, then yes that is the module that runs from within the xposed framework...

Read up on the process here... g2 exposed isn't an app, and won't do ANYTHING with out the framework ...

I know the process. I'm currently using Gravity Box with xposed. But when I enabled G2 xposed, there was a pop up that said it noticed I was not using a G2 device. I suppose I can try it again.
Nevermind! I tried the app again, and didnt get that popup. Thanks!

Mainly status bar icon/clock colors, battery icon style, notification pulldown speed, and advanced power menu... xblast plays nicer with g2 xposed then gravity box does for some reason ... I think its because gravity box has some default stuff it changes when enabled...

thats odd. I updated Xposed framework to the latest, installed the latest xblast and nothing is working for me. as to g2 xposed, most of the options init were greyed out for me and the few I could use didnt do anything. Guess I wil uninstall and try reinstallling again.
Oh if it matters, its on an AT&T Flex...

yea, I did all that. sadly this isnt my first time using xposed... But it is the first time it has fought me so much. I got some of the things working... still trying to get my battery how I want it. I wanted a circle with the % inside. Gravitybox has it and will put it in the status bar, but the stock battery icon remains....
Stupid little things like this are driving me nutz. But now I have moved on to trying to set up zooper widget to show what I want... its a never ending project for me.

I don't use gravity box, on mine it fought with g2 xposed, so I use a combo of g2 xposed and xblast. Works well. I think gravity box has some stuff it sets as default, and fights other modules...

ok, Im uninstalling Gravitybox. we will see what happens.
well that enabled me to change the battery icon. kinda... This phone just wants to fight me right now. Its ok. I'll figure it out soon.

Can't seem to find it in G2 Xposed module, but does anyone know of a module to disable the battery full notification?

[MOD] On-Screen Navigation Bar

This mod enables the nav bar on the Droid Maxx (and proably the Droid Ultra), disables the capacitive buttons. And i recommend installing the app from the link below.
This mod uses the framework-res.apk from after Software Update 1 (12.15.15 for the Maxx). I do not know if it will work on the earlier verison.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2350732
!!!! THIS NOT A FLASHABLE ZIP !!!!
But, it is pretty straight forward. Unzip, read the "read me", and follow the install instructions.
If anyone would like to help and show me how to make this SafeStrap flashable I would really appreciate the help. And it will allow this mod and future mod to be more user friendly.
Your instruction in the readme is a little off, "cp /sdcard/framework-res.apk /system/framework/" should read "cp /sdcard/framework-res.apk /system/framework/framework-res.apk".
Otherwise, it did enable the bar, but did not disable the capacitative keys. Also, if anyone uses the long press on recents for menu key emulation, it does not work on the on screen buttons.
Finally, you can use the shell command "echo 0 > /sys/class/leds/nutton-backlight/brightness" without the quotes to turn off the capacitative lights, instead of using the app linked.
Otherwise, thanks for the mod! I'm kinda a fan of the onscreen buttons, just haven't had the time to figure it out myself.
Here is an attempt at a flashable zip, haven't done one in a while and can't test as I don't use safestrap atm.
Feel free to test at your own risk, the most likely error is that it won't mount system correctly, in which case it won't install anything. In that case, just mount system manually and try again.

its a modd of maxx framework-res.apk from the maxx, i doubt i would work on the mini. older maxx/ultra builds, maybe. i dont have one running it to test. if you need it for the mini ill do one if you upload your framework-res.apk.

I made an xposed module that will do it.
Here you guys go:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/wjyh62fckhqi2jc/com.geekmod.shownav3_1.apk
Also, you can rename /system/lib/hw/ lights.msm8960.so to lights.msm8960.so.bak to disable the lights on the factory keys if you want to.

Works great, just a half black nav bar background but i am sure I can make the transparent myself. I think the half black is my launcher, switching it changes the height.

Check the OP for the 4.4 zip. I flashed the framework and it works great! I have shownav installed. Not sure about getting rid of the lights. I still use my hardware and virtual buttons, so I didn't change those.

Cool, I just have a Droid mini so I would need the xposed app. Unless the OP wants to put out a little tutorial on the framework edits. I can do it myself.

Its super easy. Decompile, go to res/values/bools.xml, find line that has show navigation bar change to true, then find show menu bar and change to false. That's it.

Is there actually any benefit to flashing a ROM if you're already rooted?

I mean, Xposed does it all and NOVA Launcher... what else can you need?

Having it all integrated into ROM, and not as a separate modules. I somehow started to HATE Xposed because it adds unneeded icons to my app drawer. The same goes to all modules I have tested. I hate having something that I don't want where I don't want, that's why I've always chose custom ROMs.

just fyi, both with apex and nova launcher, you can hide any app at the drawer. i think there is also a tweak for that in Xposed.
Yeah, I was gonna say, just hide the app. I mean, you can do basically everything without ROMing it... I'm trying to think of something that will make me ROM it, but there's nothing...
Yeah you can even download a module that injects your module right into your settings menu. Makes a custom room almost useless to be honest.

Consider that there is a huge lack of support for many languages (I know this ain't devs fault). I get really annoyed when I have half of the app on my locale and half of the app on english.

[Q] Now that we have root, can someone please get rid of the teal color everywhere??

It's driving me absolutely nuts and it looks utterly horrid. Any way to change the color/pattern/anything at all would be bloody amazing. Please someone help me change that damn color.
I would even be happy with mustard friggin yellow if I had to, but I'd prefer a dark-metal or something similar. Anything but ****ing teal.
Yea it's easy Matakor. Download Wanam Xposed from Play Store. It will ask you to install Xposed Framework, install it and enable Wanam Xposed. After a reboot, you can go into Wanam Xposed and theme the teal color. The video on the play store of Wanam Xposed run through just about everything.

Why?? That's strange. There should be one given that this would be a basic need that Xposed shouldn't have problem with.
You can find this option in Xtended NavBar, but this module was dropped years ago and not working on MM. And it's for AOSP, not working on TouchWiz also. So you can think that there're no modules with such option.
