[Q] Stuck on bootscreen after OTA 4.3 - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I successfully flashed back to stock rom and i can receive OTA updates. However, everytime i try to update to version 4.3 it hangs on the bootscreen after installing. While all other updates before 4.3 worked perfectly. When this happens i have to press the power en volume up button while holding the phone under a bright light in order to get back into the stock bootloader. From there on i have to reflash the entire thing again because recovery and factory reset won't work anymore.
Does anyone have a clue why the update 4.3 keeps failing while all other updates ran fine?
ps. i already tried it several times with boatloader locked and unlocked. I used zip versions with fastboot and RUU.exe's but all of them keep failing OTA 4.3.
this is the output from the fastboot getvar command:

I guess it's bricked... really

Hey guys,
I just wanted to update from 2.24.401.8 to 3.62.401.1 OTA didn't work ... always crashed @ 1/3 in the recovery
I thought maybe a factory reset can fix it... same problem
well I tried to downgrade to 1.29.401.13 with a CWM Nandroid-Backup
I used this guide:
http://www.android-hilfe.de/anleitungen-fuer-htc-one-m7/437192-anleitung-zurueck-zu-stock-nandroid-backup.html it's in german...
There something went wrong. After installing the boot.img nothing worked anymore.
Black Screen and no reaction to anything. Just when I hit the power button it vibrates .
Now the battery is finished and I tried again and I could enter the cwm recovery for a very short time but the screen always goes black again. And the bat is not charging.
I managed to enter the option adb sideload in cwm now but the pc doesn't recognize the phone
It seems that I only can boot into cwm ... no bootloader no fastboot nothing
The device is/was unlocked S-ON
Help please

Unfortunately, com.android.phone has stopped

Hello Everyone!
I have a HTC One with ARHD 71.1. After upgrading my firmware, the message "Unfortunately, com.android.phone has stopped" appears at random times, and i have to reenter my PIN Code. I cant find a solution so far, tried arhd53 and other firmwares as well. any suggestions ?
Also, how can i now which firm i should install for ARHD71 ? In the ARHD71.1 thread, it says "Official HTC 5.11.401.10 base with Android 4.4.2 + HTC Sense 6.0" does this mean that i should install 5.11.401.10 for this ROM ?
I've already checked the forums for a solution, i tried a few, like manually flashing boot.img and factory resetting, and all these combinations, but none helped.
Thank you in advance!
The phone: (i use twrp 2.6.3.4)

You can first try with the 5.11 base radio (baseband), which is 4T.27 something. Other than that, full wipe and reflash ROM from scratch.

so, you say its definitely a radio problem ? i have tried 5.11 base tadio, i have tried full wipe, i have tried rom reflash..
It can be others as well, try to ost a logcat when the phone apk crashes, hopefully somebody can find the root cause.
So you are now on 1.57 Hboot with latest radio and same issue?

You will have to unlock your bootloader again and flash twrp again and then refresh the rom. Of course it wouldn't update the ota, you lose that option when you mess with your device. Never factory reset unless you can release the rom right away. HTC Sense works very differently then other roms.

Help! HTC One M7 802w (Dual Sim) booting then black screen!

Hi! I recently update my HTC One (M7) 802w nordic to 5.0.2 lollipop and today I tried to root it using Kingo Root but i did not get superuser instead i got CWM 6.0.3 something. The phone is unlocked but S-On. I tried to update SU with version 2.40 but didn't work the phone still turn on normally after that, then I tried to update again SU with version 2.46 that starts the problem, the phone boots into first HTC Splash screen then turns into blank screen and stuck, it doesn't turn off. I hope someone can help me fix my phone.
= I can still get into custom recovery, but no adb command (device offline) only fastboot commands work. And I'm not really good with cmd sorry.

Try to download the zip from www . superuserdownload . com, and then flash it through CWM or TWRP.
By the way, how did you update to 5.0.2? OTA?

Thanks for your reply, do you think flashing boot.img will solve the problem?
...and the OTA update came automatically after 4.4.3 update here in Middle East.

I finally got my phone working!!! I found the solution from another site, I didn't even asked for help I just followed what is posted there and kaboom!!! I got my phone to work!!!
I just installed a custom rom, a Chinese rom I guess even if my phone was on lollipop 5.0.2 OTA originally, no problems while flashing via CWM6.0.4.8.
Thank you to the forum anyway! and the site is GSM-Forum yes!

i gave up finding the right ROM to fix it after endless looking around and then used http : // llabtoofer.com / htc-ruu-flashing-service - next day they contacted me and flashed the latest stock on to my device ... (totally worth the 20 bucks I paid for it)

No need to pay, if you can still get into custom recovery then download this custom firmware http://llabtoofer.com/2014/07/31/htc-one-dualsim-maximushd-3-0-0/ then copy to your ext-sdcard, boot into custom recovery and flash the .zip file. Or you can just get one of my backups [cwm or twrp] and restore your phone via custom recovery of your choice.
Hi, I tried to use your backup, but my system didn't boot. I used your 7.17.402.5 backup, because I have same problem as guys in this thread. Where can be a problem?

What recovery are you using (name + version)?
What was the version of all the rom you tried?
Newer Sense roms based on lollipop requires a 7.xx.xxx.x firmware (yours is 4.xx.xxx.x) and at least twrp 2.6.3.3 is requires to flash Sense based roms, 2.7.1.1 for CM based roms. So use an older rom (kitkat or JB base) with the proper recovery version. Then you should be able to achieve s-off if you want so you can change your CID/MID and flash a RUU
Thanks for the answer, after trying all night long i just solved the problem, installing a ROM removing all the apps from HTC and Google, after the phone started i flashed the ROM again and everything went perfect.
