4.4.2 OTA - Moto X Q&A

I'm on a Dev edition xt1060 and I've had both the German and GB versions of 4.4.2 on my device at some point so currently my boot loader is version b3. Currently I'm on eclipse 3.1.2 so im on a 4.4 based rom. Is there any way I can get 4.4.2 Verizon on my device? Or do I need to wait for the full Verizon 4.4.2 sbf?

Wait for the sbf.
OTAs have patch files that are meant to be applied to the old bootloader only.

Okay, thanks

[Q] sim unlock after CM install

I've successfully rooted, bootloader unlocked my Atrix HD. I've already installed CWM recovery and CM 10.1 stable. It looks like I can't sim unlock. Unless I have a stock rom. Can I install Mexico retail stock using CWM, sim unlock using a code and then simply load CM 10.1 again using CWM recovery?
Thanks.
I believe you have to RSD back to Mexican retail, but, I'm not sure.

Thanks. It was originally an AT&T phone. Do I have to revert it to stock AT&T? If so, which version?
Since youre unlocked, Mexico retail should work.

Magnetboard,
Mexico retail through CWM recovery or through RSD lite?
Thanks again.

Thank you
Have to keep in mind that Stock roms needs to be flash Only by RSDlite. The only way to flash stock using CWM is by restoring a backup made on cwm. I have one backup for stock att and for mexican in case i mess up something and I can fix easy on the go if I dont have a PC at the moment

Did Verizon release 24a or is all this rom craze based on a leak?

By ROM craze I assume you mean stock based? If so, then yes, its the leak.
Aosp? Built off of 4.2 source.

24A is currently available officially through the LG Verizon Upgrade Assistant that the phone attempts to install when you plug it in. You do not need to undo any changes unless you have a custom recovery (unless that's changed, all I did was uninstall Xposed and then ran the upgrade), in which case you'll need to restore the stock recovery.

[Q] can you install roms on NE3

just wondering

The "TMO_213.44.1.ghost_row.Retail.en.US" works fine for me ,you can go to this link to download it : http://sbf.droid-developers.org/

I'm rooted. How can I update to lollipop when it comes out?

Can i just update normally OTA?
No you have to be unrooted if you plan on updating to 5.0 lollipop o.t.a. no if you plan on just flashing a custom 5.0 lollipop rom that a developer made then all you need to do is just flash the rom.

Don't do OTA, it will screw your phone and you will have to flash stock rom.

No ota, you have to download a ftf you're self and flash it.
